🤙Getting on the plane to our next destination always fills us with excitement. Just like this time. We arrived with high hopes. The photos promised hidden beaches, calm waters, untouched jungle.
But the reality? Well… let’s just say it wasn’t exactly what we imagined. Crowds, closed-off spots, loud boats, plastic everywhere, dozens of jet skis and a vibe that just felt… off.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow. Still — we tried to find the beauty. And we did! A quiet corner here. A local tip there. A moment of calm at the end of the day.
✨ Not every place clicks and that’s okay. For us, travel isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about tuning in. Slowing down. Feeling the place, instead of forcing it.
This experience reminded us why we no longer chase every highlight — we choose meaning over perfection.
