Spain at the epicenter of wildfires: Fire reaches Madrid

Spain is at the epicentre of the battle against the fire. The culprit is extreme heat — up to +44 °C and gusty winds, in places up to 50-70 km/h. Forest fires broke out in Spain last week, with one of the outbreaks being the kitesurfing resort of Tarifa. According to authorities, the fire started in a camper van, then quickly spread throughout the region. Due to gusts of wind up to 50 km/h and heat, already extinguished areas began to ignite. According to the mayor of Tarifa, this fire has become the most serious in the region in the last decades. In Castile and Leon, the fire engulfed 11 settlements, about 3,000 people were evacuated. It is also reported that the UNESCO World Heritage site — the Roman gold mine in the Las Medulas Natural Park — was significantly damaged. In Galicia, in northern Spain, fires have affected 12 towns in the provinces of Ourense, Lugo, Pontevedra and La Coruña. In Toledo, the fire front has grown so much that it has crossed into Extremadura. Another fire has broken out in the eastern part of the city of Tres Cantos, a suburb of the Spanish capital, Madrid. The fire has spread rapidly and has covered 6 km in 40 minutes. Such “explosive” growth is explained by a dry thunderstorm and powerful gusts of wind up to 70 km/h. Two residential areas adjacent to the city center have been evacuated due to the fires. “The city of Tres Cantos has experienced a hellish day,” according to Spanish media publications. In record time, unbearable heat and strong winds have caused the fire to spread to the residential areas of Soto de Vinuelas and Fuente del Fresno. The flames engulfed the La Hípica restaurant, as well as the adjacent equestrian center and a private bilingual boarding school, in a matter of hours. The Prime Minister of Spain expressed his condolences to the victims and noted that the authorities are doing everything possible to control the situation. The spread of the fires is facilitated by hot and dry weather. According to the Copernicus Climate Change Service, in some parts of Europe the temperature is reaching +40 °C. At the same time, in the coming days, record +44 °C is expected in Cordoba and Seville. Fires are not abating in Spain’s neighbor Portugal. A large fire is raging in the city of Trancoso, 350 km from the Portuguese capital Lisbon. Forest fires have also affected France. The recent fires in the Aude department in the south of the country have been localized, but have not yet been completely extinguished. The authorities said that the fire is under control, but it will take several weeks to completely extinguish it. At the same time, there is a risk that individual fires may flare up again. Forest fires are also raging in Greece and Turkey, and our channel has covered these sad events in detail.

  9. Revelation 16:8-9 KJV

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Repent Europeans and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before things get much worse in your nations. Jesus is coming soon to Rapture believers in Him….don't be left behind!!!

  11. Whoever set these fires needs to go to jail, in canada a man was caught setting 20 of them and is burning real bad right now in canada especially newfoundland and that guy got a slap on the wrist he was a volunteer firefighter

  12. What temps do plants/grass/trees burst into flames!_ grass generally needs to reach temperatures between 572°F (300°C) and 900°F (482°C) to burst into flame.—So deliberately set on fire or by a broken bottles/lightening/discarded cig end etc?
