THE ULTIMATE BUDAPEST GUIDE! Things to do, Where to Stay, Shopping and ride!

In this video, we’re going to show you everything you need to know to travel to Budapest, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Full of history, castles, thermal baths, delicious food, and breathtaking views along the Danube River. We’ll show you the best attractions, how much each one costs, where to stay, where to eat, how to get around, the best time to visit, practical tips, day trips, and everything you need to plan your perfect trip. So, let’s go. Budapest is the capital of Hungary and is divided by the Danube River into two parts, Buddha and Pest. Buddha has more hills, castles, and scenic viewpoints, while Pest is flatter and more modern with most hotels and shops. The main airport is Budapest Ference List International Airport located about 30 minutes from the city center. A great tip is to pick up your rental car directly at the airport. It’s the main arrival hub. That way, you avoid spending on taxis or transfers to your hotel, and you save time because you won’t need to go to a rental office later. And remember, booking online in advance is always much cheaper and guarantees your car. The best time to visit Budapest is between April and June, or between September and October when the weather is pleasant and the city is at its most beautiful. Summer can reach up to 35° C, and winter is cold with temperatures below zero and a chance of snow. To see the city properly, plan to stay 3 to 5 full days. The best area to stay is on the pest side, especially near districts 5, six, and seven, which are central, safe, and well connected by public transport. That’s where you’ll find most hotels, restaurants, and attractions. We created a personalized map that shows exactly the best area to stay. In the video description and in the QR code on the screen, you’ll find the link to this map and the hotels we’ve stayed at, including one that was very cheap, well located, and a great value. To give you an idea of how convenient it is, from that area you can walk to the Hungarian Parliament, St. Steven’s Basilica, the main shopping street, Vasiucha, the central market hall, the chain bridge, and even cross to Buddha on foot.
