I’ve spent close to 8 months travelling throughout Southeast Asia, and this is how I think each country ranks, tier list style.

I went to Kuala Lumpur and I totally echo your statement about Malaysian Cuisine. Curry Laksa is still one of best dishes I have ever tried. It blew my socks off!!

Your ranking is correct. It's very proportional to how developed the tourism industry of each of these countries are. The visitors' numbers also back up your rankings. If I were to do a ranking, I would do the same, and I'm a Vietnamese. We, Vietnamese, still have a lot to learn from the Thais on how to develop the tourism industry.

Thailand is the goat. Amazing experience there. Food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Will 100% be going back to Thailand. Agrees koh tao was the best. Literal paradise. Biking around the island and snorkelling with sharks and turtles.
