      가능성이 전혀 없는게 아니다.
      현재 미국의 패스트 후드는 가히 정크 수준이다.
      나는 한국계 미국시민이지만 내가 처음 빅맥을 먹은것은
      1970년대 싱가포를 출장가서 이었다.
      이후 1970년대 80년대 초까지만 해도 빅맥은 정말 먹음직 스러웠으며 맛이 있었다.
      여기서 빅맥이라고 하면 미국의모든 패스트 후드를 말하는 것이다.
      그런데 19800년대 후반에 들어서면서
      *패스트 후두 사업자간의 치열해지는 경쟁.
      * 물론 이전에도 있었지만 살빼는 전쟁이 본격화, 가속화되면서
      미국의 모든 패스트 후드는 맛이 없어지고 양이 줄어들었으며 여기에 불친절까지 가세했다.

      빅맥 ( 모든 패스트 후드) 을 안 먹기 시작한지가 오래 되었다.
      요즘 은 정말 정크 프드이며 어극리 한다.
      양( 크기) 가 줄고 197, 80년대의 맛이 아니다!

      이런 판국에 롯데리아가 비록 국지적 ( 미국일부 도시에 관한이야기이지만 ) 이지만
      선성함, 푸짐함 으로 도전한다면 충분히 승산이 있다.
      문제는 미국시장은 * 거대하다는 것이다
      무슨말인가 하니 거대한 시장 ( 고객) 을 커버하려면 기계화 단순화 표준화되어야 하는데
      그렇게 하다보면 자연히 맥다너 꼴이 나게 마련이다
      그냥 전포 두서너개 정도라면 몰라도 거대한 미국시장을 공력하는문제는
      결코 쉬운문제가 아니다.

      I completely agree with you: if McDonald's opened a branch on Mars, the patties would be just as dry as they are on every continent on Earth. This chain has a global concept and the dishes are correspondingly uniform, not to say boring. The numerous regional fast food chains are generally better than McDonald's in culinary terms. Even in the United States, McDonald's is only mediocre.

      Interesting video. You can see how this Vietnamese company has knocked off the McDonald's burgers. They probably copied everything they could, and try to make the burgers better. So you mentioned that the McDonald's hamburgers are quite dry. That is normal because they are all cook from frozen meat. When you freeze meat, moisture comes out. There is also probably a lower fat content which makes the burger dry. But because the American franchise is required to publish caloric consumption on all of their products, they want to probably keep the fat down so that it would show fewer calories.

      They of course do have very good systems and have invested a lot of money in soft costs. That's probably why their restaurants look more organized, cleaner, and more efficient. They've developed process control equipment and they do extensive time management studies. Hopefully in the future you will see more robotics in the fast food industry which will completely destroy the mom and pop family restaurants. Another wonderful video. Great work Alex!
