🚣The day started on the turquoise waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix, right at the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon. Renting a small electric boat is such a fun way to explore. The cliffs rise dramatically on each side, and every corner reveals another breathtaking view.
🌿By the afternoon, I was wandering through one of the prettiest villages I’ve ever seen, with flower-filled streets, little artisan shops, and that peaceful charm you only find in the south. Watching the sun soften the stone walls of the houses was the perfect way to end the day.
⭐️What makes Moustiers special is its history: it’s been famous for centuries for its fine ceramics, and if you look up, you’ll see a golden star suspended on a chain high above the village. A legend says it was placed there by a knight as a vow of gratitude.
