MIA’s main terminal building is a grand, U-shaped structure, efficiently organized into three distinct terminals: North, Central, and South. While each terminal serves different airlines and concourses, they are all interconnected, allowing for seamless transit between them. The departures and ticketing level is conveniently located on the upper level, while arrivals and baggage claim are on the lower level.
North Terminal: The Gateway to Concourse D
Airlines : The North Terminal is exclusively home to American Airlines and its partner airlines.
Security Checkpoints: Multiple security checkpoints are conveniently located for passengers departing from Concourse D.
Concourse D: As the largest concourse at MIA, Concourse D is a hub of activity. Spanning a mile from end to end, it features a Skytrain that can whisk you between its four stations. This concourse boasts a wide array of amenities, including numerous shops, diverse dining options ranging from quick bites to sit-down restaurants, and airline lounges.
Central Terminal: A Hub for Concourses E, F, and G
The Central Terminal is a vibrant section of the airport, serving a mix of domestic and international carriers.
Airlines: This terminal is home to a variety of airlines, including Aer Lingus, Air Europa, Alaska Airlines, Arajet, Avelo, Bahamasair, BOA Boliviana, Cayman Airways, Eastern Air Express, Finnair, French bee, Frontier Airlines, GlobalX, and Sun Country Airlines.
Security Checkpoints: Security checkpoints are available for each concourse in the Central Terminal.
Concourse E: This concourse serves both domestic and international flights. Passengers can find a selection of shops and restaurants to enjoy before their flight.
Concourse F: Similar to Concourse E, Concourse F accommodates both domestic and international travelers. It offers a range of dining and shopping opportunities to pass the time.

A Note on Domestic Arrivals
For those awaiting the arrival of domestic passengers, the baggage claim and ground transportation are located on the lower level of each terminal. You can easily move between the departure and arrival levels using the elevators and escalators located throughout the airport.
