Schlloel, a grand castle combining Renaissance and Baroque elements, is home to a museum, a chapel, and a theater. On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Caroline Matild’s death, 1,000 golden Caroline Matild sculptures by conceptual artist Otmar Horl are on display in front of Cell Castle. Caroline Matild was born a British princess and was known as queen of Denmark and Norway from 1766 to 1772 as the wife of Christian 7. She spent the last years of her life in cell where she died at the age of only 23. [Music] Ci is a city with seven centuries of history. Between tradition and modernity, Seli manages this bridge effortlessly. Around 500 lavishly restored and listed half-timbered houses form the largest closed ensemble in Europe. The old town is still the center of life and vital center of Seli, lined with parks and gardens in the immediate vicinity of the wealth.
