the Greek isle of roads and Royal Caribbean’s brilliance of the seas. Who could ask for anything more? In this episode, day number three, we arrive at the beautiful island of roads. So, why don’t you come along with us and see the amazing blue water? Let’s go. [Applause] [Music] Welcome to roads. Not the kind of drive on the island. And day three. Today is basically a repeat of what we did yesterday. We’re going to some dig site. We’re going to walk around the city and then we’re going to eat, drink a lot of wine, maybe. However, this island’s a lot bigger and I guess we have like an hour bus ride to the dig site and then probably an hour back. But it’s an 8 hour excursion. So, and we’re both rested from yesterday, which is great. Time for coffee. Let’s go. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Okay. [Music] [Music] Saw you paint a picture of a face. A face I wasn’t even close to mine. I know I shouldn’t be in love, but it’s so hard to move on. You haven’t changed. You stayed the same. But if you did, I’d still love you anyway. You don’t know what you mean to me. It’s 6:40 and it’s time for a Beatles tribute band. Let’s go. [Music] [Music] For those of you who have watched our channel for a while, Cat and I are not huge fans fans of the headliner singing shows. All that being said, Beetle Maniacs was by far the best show show ever. Yeah. On um Headliner singing show ever on any of the cruise ships we’ve ever been on. The entire crowd audience was standing by the end of the show as you saw in some of the videos. So, outstanding job, Royal Caribbean, for hiring them. Anyhow, we thought it was dark out when we came back out of the show, but it’s not. Still light. It’s 8:00 at night. Tomorrow, we get to sleep in. Our excursion doesn’t start until 10:00, but it’s another like 8 hour excursion and we’re in Cyprus. So, wait. Yeah. Time for bed. We’re old. All right. See you tomorrow. Another picture perfect day. This time in roads. It was pretty close to Santorini. Some things were better and some things not so much, but for the most part it was a great continuation of what so far has been an amazing cruise. 🚐 Best of Rhodes Excursion – 3 Highlights
Our day began with the Best of Rhodes Excursion, designed to showcase the island’s most famous sites. First, we stopped at Savvas Ceramics, a shop full of traditional pottery and crafts—though it felt a bit touristy compared to the other stops.
Next, we traveled to Lindos, where the Acropolis of Lindos rises dramatically above the town. The panoramic views from the top were breathtaking, with the brilliant blue water shimmering below and whitewashed houses clustered around the hillsides. It was truly one of the most stunning scenes we’ve experienced in Greece.
Finally, we explored the Old Town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking through medieval gates and along cobblestone streets, we found ourselves surrounded by centuries of history, lively shops, and charming cafes.
🎤 Evening Show – The Beatle Maniacs
Back onboard Brilliance, the evening entertainment absolutely stole the show. The Beatle Maniacs delivered what we both agreed was the best headliner performance we’ve ever seen on a ship. From spot-on vocals to electric stage presence, their tribute to the Fab Four had the entire theater singing along.
