And then when we get down, we’re going to try to take a boat trip around our hotel. Um it’s on the river that goes right by our hotel, which is going to be fun. If we we might just do a night we just do a night one. Yeah. Either do a night one or I’m not sure if we’re going to make it back on time. Or we could do it tomorrow. Or we do it tomorrow during the day so we can see the sites. Yeah. So we had a good time yesterday. We walked around the city a little bit. It was fun. It was very nice. Good food. German food is good. But we ate a donor kebab, which is a Turkish cuisine, but the Germans love it. Yeah. Yeah. And um it was delicious. And this morning we had breakfast. Oh my god. It was outstanding. Cuz the hotel said, “Oh yeah, free breakfast.” We thought just like a continental breakfast. This was a whole buffet. Yeah. Well, we paid for the free breakfast, but they ain’t free for anything. It wasn’t like a continental though. Like, you know, just Well, it was a buffet. It wasn’t it wasn’t in one of those cheap continental uh would they say continental but they only serve a a a McMuffin. You know what I mean? That is continental. They just give you juice and Oh, that’s what it was. Content means like universal. All right. Yeah, we had a nice buffet. It was like elaborate with chefs and everything. So, all righty. We’ll show you a little bit of the train station. Train station. We’re in the main [Music] We are all about getting out and exploring what life has to offer. Our speed is not fast. They don’t get bags out too much. paper bag sometimes, but they don’t always do that. I don’t think everyone does it like I forgot for like $2. Yeah, they might do that here too cuz why not? Yeah, make a dollar off a bag maybe. Where did he come from? Oh, yeah. Used to be. Oh, look at that building over there. That’s nice. All glass. Friedri Strasa. Yeah, we got time to walk around and take in the sights. Oo, Starbucks. That’s like what we had. I know. Yeah. Maybe even stronger. over there’s a Dunkin Donut. Yep. It’s uh very very chilly here. Maybe high 50s, low 60s. Yeah. Go a train or one of the trains. Not sure which one that is. Babe, I think Checkpoint Charlie’s over there, I think, but I’m not sure. Yeah, Checkpoint Charlie was the uh checkpoint between here and East Berlin. And then they had a checkpoint alpha which was between West Germany and East Germany. Checkpoint Bravival was from East Germany to Berlin. And then that was Checkpoint Germany. I believe that’s it. Maybe not. But the tower is over there. So we good. Huh? Yeah. No, I’m looking. There’s nothing really down there. So, we can go back. Go get our coffee. You get it up close. Oh, yeah. Let me get up close. You’re right. Thank you. Oh, that’s too close. Oh, that’s a good one. That’s an hour and a half wheel. Well, uh, if you go back and I can give you that that black thing that I have because that’ll keep you warm. No, it won’t cross right here. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the GTO. I’m Jose. Shelly is getting ready and we’re about to go out and get some breakfast and it is Saturday and we’re leaving tomorrow to go to Paris, but we’re spending the day um with some special people and we’re going on a boat ride and all that good stuff. So, that’s nice. And um yesterday we had a great time. I like to explain it to you, but that day I’m going to keep to ourselves private and try to get some uh more Berlin in the morning um before we leave. Yeah, it wasn’t uh 3 days is definitely not enough. So, especially when you’re visiting uh special people, you don’t have the time to go out and visit the whole because we had to go uh somewhere else. We wasn’t in Berlin, but we took the train yesterday, which was nice. Um and when I took the train, I bypassed a lot of the stuff that um I knew when I was in the service, the areas, so I kind of reminisced a little bit. So, but I know when people come here, my fellow red legs come here and other soldiers, they want to visit these sites that we used to uh go to like the Irish pub and all that good stuff. And I just don’t have the time to do it. Um because that’s not my main priority in Berlin. So, but when we go to Paris, we’re definitely going to see all the sites because it’s just we’re not visiting uh uh friends there. We’re just going to uh uh visit the sites and eat at the restaurants and stuff, but that’s okay. And Shel’s okay with it. She’s We can see a lot of the sites right here. So, and we got the view of the uh the river here, or the canal, I should say. It’s not really a river. And we have another one right over here. So, as you can see, we got stuff hanging up cuz I had to do wash. They lost our suitcase. So, and we still didn’t get it back yet. They said it was going to be back yesterday, but it was not. So, hopefully it comes today. hopefully. So, but you know, I got my shirt washed. I just washed yesterday. I washed some clothes and they just dried. We put them in the bathroom because the floor is heated and it gets warm in there. So, so it’s not too bad. And the bathroom is real nice. Sh’s in there now. And I think I showed it to you the first day I was here. So, right now, this is the outfit I came in to Berlin and I washed it in the sink and it feels nice and fresh. So, they do have laundry service here, but I can just wash in the sink. It’s not like we’re rolling around in the dirt or anything. So, yeah, we got our snacks or our thing. We’re going to buy some t-shirts today. and maybe some socks. Who knows? Not too much cuz we don’t have a bag. So, and I don’t want to carry too much stuff on the plane with us. So, all right. Talk to you later. Looks like it’s closer. Yeah, it looks like it’s it’s closer, right? Yeah. It seems like it was far away over there. Yeah, that’s kind of weird. Ah, there we go. That’s a good picture. Yep. I got it. It’s not going anywhere. Yeah. Yeah. At least we got to see it. Watch this gentleman. Come this way. That way. And we’re inside a little cafe. And they have little dishes. I don’t know where. But this is our place over here. Yeah. It’s clothes. Yeah. Clark shoes. Oh, it’s just shoes. No, they have Clarks. [Music] Hi, babe. Hi. I can see the tower over here, so I’m going to take a picture of it. Oh yeah, that’s ours. Oh, that’s big and holes. It has inside. Oh, good. Good. I don’t mind if it’s not too crowded. Yeah, I was going shift and pa shift and boat both boat ride in. Let me see some of the buildings over here. That’s a nice hotel, too. Yeah, we’re leaving Pak. Yeah, we don’t have to go back in the Berlin Ma anymore. Yeah. Huh? We don’t have to go over there. We can just go. [Music] Oh, yeah. Oh, nice. The one with the Yeah, the pipe. Cool. Oh, that’s going to be nice. Ah, palm trees. Film museum. Very nice hotel. Oh, that’s nice. That’s nice. Sailboat. Yep. Come on. You going to follow me? [Music] What are you looking at, babe? Oh, this is really nice. Oh, look inside. It’s like it’s all open. No, what do you call like a courtyard? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that’s right. Lastic Brandenburgg. Lunchag Brunenberg. Let me just take a I’m going to get this building here. That is beautiful. Pretty. It is so clean. That’s That’s when you look like the capital. Yeah. We would look at a distance. Yeah. Well, it kind of it’s kind of a little bit, but you know, it’s not white like ours. Yeah. And it’s smaller than Oh, yeah. Yeah. Definitely. And nobody nobody uh ain’t going to be nobody stormed it. Yeah, nobody stormed this one. Well, not lately, I should say. Maybe.
