Fact or Folklore? Schloss Johannisburg — Can You Spot the Folklore?

Two of these facts are history and one is folklore. Can you guess which is the folklore? First, Schlloio Hannisburg in Ashafenberg, Germany was built starting in6005 as a residence for the archbishops of mines. Designed with towering red sandstone walls to display power. Another fascinating detail is that the castle houses one of the largest collections of Renaissance era paintings in Bavaria, including works that survived wars and fires. And finally, in 1631, Swedish forces threatened the castle during the 30 Years War. And it was a priest and his conversation with the king of Sweden that saved it.   1. Well, the first one is definitely true. The second and third are possible though such collections were usually moved to Munich, while the third sounds more like folklore. As the same wheel the castle story is also told about Mainz, I'd say number three is folklore.
