Great review!! The attention to the small details make such a huge difference. The menu cards and the 34" seat pitch ( which you would pay a lot more for on a US carrier) are perfect examples!! I once booked a flight on American, the flight over was on Japan Airlines with the trip back on American. OMG, what a huge difference and not in a good way!!😝
The ANA GETTING WORSE AFTER pandemic. It is not acceptable to give a lunch box as a meal if ANA claims itself as a five star airline
Is that your 1st time flying ANA, Boeing 777-300ER with 2-4-3 configuration in economy class that I never seen before, is your flight to Tokyo busy, how many hours you sleep on the plane, do you remember the price including your connecting flight to Manila, did you check in 1 luggage with seat selection for free or a fee and is the luggage policy strict?

This plane of yours JA790A is 10 years old and your plane has the unusual 3-4-2 layout 8:23 this is actually way better than a B777-322/ER UA189 SFO-MNL in reality its the 6-8:15pm EWR-MNL via SFO flight and also PR105 both have 3-4-3 layouts. However PR105 SFO-MNL can use a B777-3U3/ER RP-C7783-7784 3-3-3 like their original owner GA skyteam partner KE B777-3B5/ER. Your route to MNL is NH107 to NH869 if this were to be canceled ask the NH staff for BR7 to BR261 to keep the layover in GMT +8 TPE that way you adjust to MNL time in TPE. If NH107 was canceled out of SFO before departure ask the staff for BR17/27 to BR271. the first flight BR17 can get B-16740 Lolipop jet then your 2nd flight BR271 TPE-MNL can get B-16722
