DUS Düsseldorf International Airport, August 2025 – End of Summer in Germany, 4K HDR Walking Tour

Join me on a full walking tour of Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) in the end of August 2025. Summer holidays are coming to an end and many travelers are returning home from popular destinations like Mallorca in Spain. Germany’s third-largest airport and North Rhine-Westphalia’s main hub handled over 20 million passengers in 2024, a nearly 5 % increase from the year before, with record punctuality and short security wait times. Ranked 6th in the European Airport Index 2024, Düsseldorf continues to expand with new airlines and routes to Atlanta, Florence, Bordeaux, Reykjavik, Amman, and Abu Dhabi. The airport has three terminals, two A380-ready runways, a driverless SkyTrain, and a train station with 300 daily stops. A new €60 million fire station, set to open in 2025, will be one of Germany’s most modern.

Düsseldorf in western Germany is famous for its dynamic fashion and art scene, thriving nightlife along the Rhine promenade, and its role as a major hub for finance and telecommunications. The city is also home to “Little Tokyo,” a vibrant street filled with authentic Japanese restaurants, markets, and shops.

This video walk, filmed entirely in stunning 4K HDR at 60FPS with immersive high-definition binaural audio, captures the essence of Düsseldorf Airport in the end of summer 2025. Recorded during a warm 24°C day with binaural audio.
