People told us before that they used to go to Marus and pay 17 cents for a beer. And it wasn’t that long ago, but It wasn’t 17 cents from think it was like three 3 basically like£3 pound beer 250 to3 no music as well. So we come back to this one. This one cost again and again. Two, three weeks ago, we was there filming and it was hot. But this is at the moment really, really hot. Like like Kha hot in Tennere. That’s what this feels like. It was the first time it’s ever overheated whilst doing these type of videos I can normally do. It did overheat when I was in Teler one time when I was filming Billy Billy Porter. So my first impressions of Falaki is I like it. I do like Greece in general. I see your prices there. How much is it to the airport? 3140. Maybe I didn’t get ripped off the other night. And we still got another five, six nights. I mean, five nights. We got last day we go home. We’ve got that whole day. We got a really, really late flight. We land in the UK about half 1, 2:00 in the morning. Aqua Salowaki. I said a few things just look a bit dated. Like I guess with a lot of these places, they’re just getting back on their feet after CO and whatever else. Looks like the road stops there. Can I walk down there? Doesn’t look like it. I don’t think it’s something that I would be doing. I don’t think I I’ll just do a bit of snorkeling. So much I’ll do in the sea. Bit of jet skiing, bit snorkeling. Yeah, this is what Greece actually reminds me of a lot of it. It’s updating itself. New buildings being built or it looks like they’ve stopped building them. No idea. It was a UK show and it was like TV reps um coming out of Palaraki and it showed you their sort of shenanigans and what it was like. So years later to be out here does feel quite surreal and also quite nostalgic as well. remember speaking to my friend from school and we used to be on the phone because we used to have those uh those handit phones, not mobile and uh we’d be on the phone talking whilst the show was on and talking about how we want to be holiday wreck and uh what we’d get up to if we went to Palaraki. So, it’s quite nice all these years later to be here um and to let you guys know is Balaraki the place to be? Is it worth all these years later finally getting out here? I think it is. Has it changed? Do comment below if you have been here in its prime which would have been I want to say like ’90s. Is there a destination you keep coming back to? What do you remember? What sort of uh the differences now? Has it become more like a family resort? prices gone up down uh quality food everything and anything I would love to know really would peique my interest so yeah do put anything below and we’ll try and get back to you yeah so yesterday we did a beach walk around that other side of this beach just around there see that little probably can’t this one doesn’t zoom in but we went to like where the little port is where you get your boats and do all your excursions on boat trips and everything. Yeah, that was really nice. And this today we’ve got on the other side nice beach bars. Price wise at the moment the place we’re in beach bar €7 for procco. I think average price for your local beers sort of between 5 and six. Top sales on that one were 13 to 14 which you know I don’t think is too bad sort of uh average prices for the UK but we have seen cocktails a little bit cheaper. I am going to go out tonight and do a little bit of a kind of uh let’s see how much sort of like 40 will get you on a night out going down bar street if it will get me anywhere. Um, just so you guys can see what it is. If you are on an absolute, you know, budget, budget, can you do it? Lots of places you can check out our Tener videos. That’s still for me probably like the cheapest um, in Europe in terms of bargains. It might be a little bit pricier to get to, especially this time of the year. Accommodation, but the food and the drinks are really, really cheap. And I find at the moment again only been here a couple of days that it’s just slightly more than Zanti. I haven’t done any of the other riders. Obviously I’m expecting like places like Santorini um and Nikkos to be probably the more expensive ones because they are the kind of it places. Are they still the it places though? Are they the sort of uh what do you call it? fashionable places to go. So, those islands are on our list, but at the moment, this is where we are. Weather is lovely and the breeze today is a lot cooler. Yesterday, it was so hot. The breeze was just like a a warm oven, so not really a breeze. Um, have been bitten. Mosquito update. The bites are biting. Um, I have brought I’m not going to say the brand, but a branded repellent which is not repelling. Uh, so don’t waste your money. Do comment below if you have found something that is like a absolute guarantee that you don’t get burned. I will pass it. But for now, the one I have is a fail. Epic. Um, yeah. Hello. But yeah, at the moment the mosquitoes are biting, but I’m not going to let it ruin my holiday. It’s just part of life. And yeah, you never get bitten cuz lucky you. The envy is not a thing. I promise. Just fascinated. So right coming to like a load of posts here Olympic very uh well named for where we are. No driver license. There we go. So you don’t need driving license. You can just literally take it out as it is. And then you’ve got your water sport. So you got like the aqua. What is this one? like the ones you basically get swung around like a lunatic and hold on to dear life, but they do look really fun. And then you got your like um jet ski and your pedo. I got a unicorn and all the fun stuff. Right, I’m going to spin around at this point. So, the beach should go, as you can see, further up. And I did do a video going the other side. I’m going to head back to Tulum, the beach bar. My trousers are drenched, but it’s hot, so I think it will definitely dry. And then you can see it goes like all the way around. Show you guys. Hope you can see that. Sand feels so nice and soft though. Really nice and soft. We actually found um a pool bar yesterday that was uh really cheap for the drink. And oddly, we were speaking to a guy. So, he’s here for the summer. Didn’t help out his family bar, but he’s from UK like Reing area. And he was telling me that his job is to cure cancer. Might have been lying. Don’t know. Um, and they managed to cure me. Melanina, no. Hang on. So, that’s real real positive. Now they’re working on life as well. Um, it’s always good to hear positive people are sort of changing the world for the better and, you know, doing really good things with their research and putting those brains to good use. So, what a fantastic and interesting guy and yeah, really, really positive. One of those things that I think we can all relate to have someone giving a little bit of a positive light on a negative subject is always good. And then if someone is serving drinks to lovely holiday guests, keep them entertained. And that’s Antonio uh Pwell and that’s on the uh sort of one of the main roads in Palaraki. But compared to again, if you watch our current videos, it’s a like a really long descent into the water before it actually gets deep. This one seems a little bit more shallow and then normal sort of goes deep. As you can see, stairs randomly like in the ocean. They probably used to get on boats and stuff, but they kind of just seem like there’s faults here and it’s like where you going, where you walking through. Maybe a little workout. Maybe I’m being stupid. Just maybe he along here. Right, let’s pray my shoes there. realized I left my fit box as well. Sorry. I could be sholess. She could be sholess. What’s the strangest thing you had stolen whilst on holiday? cuz you know the normal typical things is obly your wallet I don’t know maybe handbag but does anyone have anything random like a t-shirt or someone taking your like beach towel or I mean just really like you wouldn’t think anyone would care about but for some reason it’s gone nice out little restaurant there. And then in the background you can see Saloon Beach Bar. I think hopefully my food is still there. Oh, I don’t know. These people are waving at me if I wave at them. They’re probably not cuz I don’t know them. I’m going to put the camera down. Don’t want to disrespect anyone’s privacy. I see them, I think. Oh, no. They [ __ ] Sorry. Might have to bleep that bit out. Oh, my shoes down there. Didn’t realize I walked a little bit further. Someone’s made a nice little quite strong. But yeah, my legs are now completely drenched. I’m actually just going to let all this water get up with me. We’re here at this beach. Let’s going have a look. I guess these are the little springs that people are telling us about. They’re a bit dried up now. But we’re going to go find this tunnel. It’s long dark tunnel. So over there is where the little springs have look like they’ve dried up. I don’t think there’s much to go and see over there. Let’s go have a look. Let’s go walk on some rocks. Again, I’m guessing these are these little rock pools are normally full of water, but not much water left. How do we get up there then? All right. Well, guess we’re climbing up. So, yeah, you can get buses uh coach trips and everything here, but we drove. So, there’s lots of different ways if you don’t have a license. And you get taxi as well. Taxi prices there. [Music] See, most people are making a mistake of driving down. That’s what we did. We did exactly the same. We drove down. The lady where we rented the car, she did tell us as you go into Lindor at the very top, park and walk in. But you know, as tourists do, we forget what people say and then we drove in and had to drive way back out. So, as you can find anywhere around Europe, there’s always a good black African lady to do your hair, do all the braids for everything. Hello. Hello. How are you? England. You where? As I said, we did it. Even though we was told not to when we picked up the car. See, it just causes a big traffic jam cuz no one can listen. That’s tourist. do what I want. So yeah, if you got mobility issues, you have to get yourself dropped down here in the car and then circle back up and again pick them up again. Looks like there’s a little buggy service. So, we just had some lunch at the uh restaurant up there, Curttos. Really lovely. I just got to show you guys the beach. Really, really pretty water. Ridiculously clear. which is just what you want. Everyone having a great time. So, you can get boats just from that bridge over there. And this is like a little cove. And then you can cut up, go around, and go to the next beach, which is what we’re going to do. The water feels really nice and cool, but not cold. And you got the restaurants behind and all your sun beds. Sunbeds, I think, are like €20 for two. I will uh get the prices. cuz I did get it as I was sort of walking down. But yeah, really, really nice. And you can actually dock your boats in as well, like your little boats, obviously not the big boats. So that’s always good. So yeah, really busy. [Applause] [Music] So, this is quite a short little part of the beach. I could probably walk all the way around just in the water, actually. I’ll probably get really wet. So, I’m going to have to walk up. But yeah, let me just show you around this little cove. So, you got these cute little coes where the beaches come out. And then we’re just going to walk to the next beach. Hello. These are really high steps. I’ve got no shoes on. It’s actually not too hot, which is good. Going to put my socks and shoes on cuz we’re going to go around to the other bit of the beach. You got to go on like the uh road, not road, like the cutway bit. So, I’ll show you how to do that. Just brushing the sand off my feet again. Forgot to bring my flip flops. Rookie mistake. Right. So, this is the little kind of cut through. You’re afraid of height. It’s probably not the best thing. Wow. Look at that water. So clear. So that’s where we’ve just come through. You can see like a nice little got one of those submarine buses buses boats coming in. How’s everyone feel about submarines though after the whole few incidences that we’ve had this in the news documented? Are you still a submarine fan? Have you ever done a submarine excursion? Um, I know I spoke about if you watch Zanti footage about how I went do parasailing and bungee jumping. I think submarines are probably on that as well. I do like the ocean. I love snorkeling. I love scuba diving. I think it’s fascinating to see all the creatures that live beneath, but somewhere you’re kind of trapped. And I think that’s the bit that kind of freaks me out. cage swimming with sharks on the fence with that one. Seen a few horror movies that put me off. But again, if I went to like somewhere like South Africa, I don’t know. Don’t know. Again, you’re kind of trapped, aren’t you? Okay, so we’re at the other part of the beach. Yeah. Going to take my shoes off and we’ll have a little wander around this little cove. And it’s hot. Hot cold hot. So on the uh next little cove and again really clear gorgeous water really calm as well. And then you got like little restaurants and bars and everything. So yeah. Would you guys do a submarine? Mine’s a no, but I would probably do sharks, which I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I think it’s once in a lifetime. Um, and I think if I went somewhere, the only place I can think of is you can really see loads of sharks in South Africa. Probably see lots of other places, but yeah, I probably would do that. um or swim with them. There you go. You can rent your paddle boards. Really nice and calm here. So, I probably would do paddle boarding. Like perfect place to do it. But yeah, I can see why people like Lindos. The water is incredible and the beach is nice, but it’s not like too much. You go to some beach resorts and it can be a little bit like it’s really chilled here. There’s not a lot of music. It’s very calming. Sort of like family couples and everything all doing their own little thing. like a green there, it that’s about again. Got your sun lounges and then straight out to the beach. And then just to show you, you got the castle up there. And we did a video, so do check that out of us walking around all like the little streets. You got all like cafes, restaurants, shops, and all of the uh like apartments and everything up that side. So, Lindos is definitely somewhere I’m thinking I’d love to come and stay for a couple of nights, chill out, and then maybe go off to like Roads Town, which we did yesterday. See more of like the uh like ruins and everything. Had a couple of nights there. Maybe finish off in Falori or the other way around might be more sensible. A nice little kayak or canoe. So from where we were staying, this is about 45 minutes car drive. So it’s not far. I’ll probably be about an hour, maybe a little bit more in the bus. It’s worth doing a day visit. Yeah, this side’s like really green. Just show you guys. So, the other side where it’s more like clear. It’s a nice soft sand beach as well. We went to Roadtown yesterday and that was like a pebbly beach. Lot more waves. Really nice little like wind and everything. This is definitely like more soft sand. Let’s keep going. just had a nice lunch as well. I said that was the other little cove in the place called Kertos. Have like a really nice salmon sad tuna salad. It was all like fresh uh tuna and salmon. Really, really nice. I’ve just been living on cheese and cheese with a little bit of cheese. So, it’s been really nice to have a meal that doesn’t actually contain cheese. But when in uh when in Rome and we are in Greece and cheese palumi feta is beautiful here. Same as the uh olives. Had a really nice meal yesterday. The add feta. So yeah, I’ve literally just been having cheese. So it was nice to have some salmon and mix it up for a day. Here we go. Let’s get some prices for you. Flamingo unicorn 20. Stand up paddle 15 for an hour 10 for half. That’s not bad. You got the canoes. It is a canoe. There we go. It’s not a kayak. It’s a canoe. We’re learning. Play your sports. Do a bit of footy. All the uh bigger boats out there. Another roasting hot day. I say it’s about 35. A lot cooler here. I feel like is like a little vacuum for heat. Here it’s um there’s a breeze. Not much of a breeze, but it’s uh a little bit more calmer. Have a little butchers up here. Show you guys. Let’s go around. I haven’t got shoes on. I don’t really go on the rocks. Go like another little tiny clove. Go to this side. Really clear again. Clear and blue. Ah, little fishes there. Don’t if you can see them. Loads of little fishes. So, we’ve just come from all the way over there and done a lovely little beach walk. get a free parking which is really good. We just had some lunch at the lighthouse or I should say sort of dinner. Let’s get into that sort of evening time. We’re going to go check this out. So, it’s quite cool cuz you got the two oceans where they meet. You got one side which is a little bit more turbulent and then you got like a more calmer. So, let’s go and check it out. And there’s like a beach that sort of separates the two. Don’t forget to uh put it below if you’ve been here. is very much if you’re into your sort of uh wind sports uh sea wind sports. So if you do sort of kite sailing, parasailing, surfing, all of the above. It’s like a cool little surfer vibe here. Food was lovely. I had like a salmon salad. Really nice and fresh. And then Kirk had the sea bass. if it ends up feasing the cats at the end as well. So there you go. And then you got that side. So let’s take a little wander. Took us about an hour to get here from where we’re staying or just over an hour. So I can feel the wind from this side. You can see all the uh all the kites and everyone loving that. Perfect for that sort of sport. And then flip it round and you’ve got a completely different So you got people doing more like wind sailing. Very very different sand as well. So sand beaches on both sides. So just take a little wander. And then behind us, you got some like little um I suppose hotels. So, we had lunch at the lighthouse. You got the oasis. I forgot what the last one’s called. So, there’s places to stay if you do want to come down here and have a couple of nights, chill out, enjoy the beach or beaches. So, Mediterranean. Hopefully, I’ve got that right. I’m sure you guys will definitely correct me if I have got it incorrect. Yeah, really, really pretty. Little bit more cooler here as well. Well, I say cooler, it’s still nice 30s, but because you got that lovely breeze, you’re not feeling it as much, which can sometimes be a little bit dangerous. And they’re going really fast over there. So, it’s quite a big beach. Really, really massive. As we are driving up here as well, the coastline is absolutely stunning. And you got this really sort of like rocky wavy ocean and it’s this really sort of like clear turquoise sort of icy white blue and then it sort of gradually goes to like a dark sort of normal ocean blue. Really really pretty drive on the way here. We came down the coastline from the ancient ruins and we’re heading up the other side of the coastline going towards Lindos. So, we’ve done like a full island sort of tour today, which has been really nice to see all the different sort of things the lovely roads has to offer. And it really has got a lot to offer. There’s so much for anyone to do. um whether you just want to have sort of like more of a resort holiday. If you want to stay in the sticks, it’s all like kind of little quirky villages, if you want to come and do sports like this, if you’re really into kind of getting out in the ocean, then you’ve got this side. You’ve got like the more kind of beach bars, party and night life. And then you’ve got roads and like the main sort of town which offers both of that. So you got like the nightlife side and then you got the sort of medieval h you got the castle and you’ve got the kind of little beautiful pretty boutique little kind of windy roads or not even roads and more like little alleyway base little streets where you can get lost and have like a little coffee have a nice little kind of bite to eat going into all the little boutique stores and just kind of get lost in that for a day. So, it really has been a bit of everything today. And then we also went to like the ancient ruins. There’s a couple of castles. We didn’t go to those because they’re sort of like what’s left of the castles, but if you’re into that sort of stuff, I think they’ve got about five or six here. So, you could have like a day of just going to see and visiting all of those. So, yeah, there really is so much to see. Um, we try to cover as much as we can cuz it is our first time to roads and we did want to try and soak up because we are travel video. We do tours. So, if you’re new to the channel, welcome. We are Wuan tours. My name is Sabrina and we like to go around and show you guys different parts of the world and what you can expect. But obviously doing that, we have to cover lots of different areas. So, as much as I’ve loved roads, I think it’s fantastic. I don’t know if it’s somewhere I’m going to be able to get to sort of in the next sort of like year. It might be a sort of couple of years before we get to come back because there’s so many other Greek islands that we need to sort of pinpoint and show you guys so you can get a good round view of Greece and all it has to offer. Not just one or two islands. We want to try and show you a bit of everything so you can make your mind up. You can sit at home or on your phone, wherever you are, and decide, is this somewhere you want to come out and see and hopefully we can sort of like show you enough of each area to help you make your mind besides is it the right place for you to go as a solo traveler with your friends, family, or you know, your loved one. So, we’ll go to the chilled side first. And I say chill, but they are going pretty fast, aren’t they? Comment below if you’ve tried doing any of these sports. I haven’t. I’ve done paddle boarding, haven’t done surfing, uh done jet skiing, done snorkeling, diving, swimming, been on boats. I’ve not actually done this. It does look really fun, but I feel like it’s one of those things you need kind of do a few times just to make sure you pick it up. I think doing like a hour or two hours isn’t going to be enough to really become sort of good at it. Even though these guys are making it look pretty easy, I’m sure it is not. Wow, look at that guy over there. It’s just going for it. He’s going for miles so fast. Absolutely crazy. Hope you guys are seeing this all. Okay. Oh, look at her go. Oh, she’s going to fall. Oh no, she made it. She made it. So, yeah, really chilled. Water looks lovely. Show you guys a bit of that lovely sea, right? And then we’re going to completely flip it and we’re going to go over there. So, we got two oceans. You can say I’ve been to the Mediterranean. I’ve been to the Gian. All in a space of what, 2 minute walk across. If you guys can’t hear me, I do apologize. We are now reaching the uh windy side of the beach, which I believe is the Aian Ocean. Again, if I have got that really really wrong, please do correct me. So, this side is definitely a lot more choppier. Can feel that wind already. It was really calm that side. Although they were going super fast, it was like very still. And now I feel like I’m walking into a sort of a a little storm. It’s very refreshing cuz it’s been a very very hot day. But yeah. Wow. I can’t zoom in on this camera, but hopefully you’re starting to see the difference in the ocean, cuz that is mad. Look at those waves. What a contrast. What a contrast. Right, again, hope you guys can hear me. I will try and speak up, but I might just let the uh scenery do the speaking. So this side as you can see completely different. Look at the waves. Very very different to what we just had across. So you got outside to this side, night and day. Literally night and day. I don’t know. Which side do you like the best? What’s your cup of tea? Which one would you be chilling on? Would you be on the uh the wavy side? the one where the waves are crashing towards you and you got that wind which for me actually seems quite calming or would you be on the bit more of the chilled relaxed you got the ocean but you can still sort of hear yourself I quite like the fact that you got the option of both really I’m going to go back to the middle the undecided where I can be indecisive and decide which one. But yeah, they’re both really really good. So yeah, like I said, really, really long stretch of beach. It’s a bit more sort of like the evening now, so about early evening. So I’m guessing earlier on this would have been absolutely jam-packed with everyone doing their sports. And again, you can come here for day visits. There’s like buses, coaches, you can drive. It’s quite accessible. Or if you are really keen into doing your water sports and you want to make a couple of days of it, they’ve got accommodation as well and like a supermarket and shop and everything so you can stay. The parking is also free which I think is a massive bonus. Really liking that about this island at the moment. A lot of the uh areas we’ve been to there’s been free parking. So, we went to Roadstown and that was free parking and it had like a little bus that would pick you up and take you to the sort of um medieval part and then drop you back to the car park which is nice, especially on a hot day. You can walk it as well, so it’s completely optional, but it’s nice to have that option. So, yeah, really liking the um easy accessibility of this island. The buses seem to be quite regular as well. um every sort of half hour and they go to all the sort of main points. So we went to Khifia um Bayo also went to Lindos um we went to a few other beaches yesterday and I can’t remember off the top of my head but they all had buses regular bus routes obviously is buses going to where we’re staying which is Palaki. Um, we got the bus to roads. Um, we got a car for the last couple of days. So, that’s made obviously a little bit easier cuz we’re seeing lots of different places. But, if we were just here and we didn’t want to get a car, you have got buses and you got options. So, really really liking that. And the buses are really affordable as well, about €223 per travel. Um, so yeah, really really like this island. really enjoyed our time and stay here. And this is such a cool little place to come to. I love the fact that you’ve got two different oceans meeting slightly divided and then you can see they both go round and then they’ll join over that creek. And then if you go all the way down there, you could probably go up and go round. I’m not going to do that today. But again, if you want to come here and do that, then I hope I’ve shown you somewhere that you can add to your list of travel destinations. I think I’m going to wrap it up here, make my way back to the uh restaurant. Like I said, there’s a few restaurants and places there. And then we’re going to head back to Falori where unfortunately you’re not going to get a breeze like this. It’s going to be roasting. We’re here in Oldtown, the medieval town. So, and this is definitely given a nice little town vibe, isn’t it? More um more history. A little caddies, little bit more culture. Not that Faleraki isn’t giving you that, but it’s definitely more of like a holiday resort, isn’t it? Don’t see. No, definitely sit here. Um, it is late at night, so I would show you more of the historical side of stuff, but you’ve got more of like the ruins, the castle, and other bits here. And it’s all for free, so you can just go wander around here. There’s no uh charge, which is nice. We’re just heading back to the main road town where we got the bus from. So, yeah, we’re going to take a little walk around the marina and go into the old town of roads and show you guys what it’s like in the evening. Straight ahead looks like slushies, fresh juice, some planes coming in, and then obviously you got all your boats and your excursions and stuff and all your sort of uh advertisement for that bit of ice cream as well. Yeah. What’s that over there? There’s that like nuts and stuff [Music] jewelry. [Music] More corn. [Music] Yeah, corn and nuts. Looks like some more. We have to go and have a look, won’t we? Yeah. It sounds like someone’s singing. Right. So, we’re going to cross over and go to where all the people are. So, we’ve just come from this way where you got all the uh food food stalls and you got the marina. Yeah, really big. [Music] So, it’s like a little collection of restaurants. You got someone singing live. Nice chilled vibes. Got a massive bank there. Bank of Greece. So we are in the lovely gorgeous just uh show you guys ancient cam. So today we are stepping back in time. This site is over 2,000 years old, which is absolutely insane when you absolutely don’t even think about it. Let me just sort out my camera. There we go. Hopefully you guys can see. 7 mil down. Can’t believe how old this place is. So, yeah, over 2,000 years old. It looks over the Indian Sea. It’s a very complex city back in the day. It’s got three levels. It’s known for having a really good water system that would feed the whole village. Absolutely phenomenal. And the way it was structured, the architecture, the way they designed the layout of the actual um city was once as a defense, so where it was situated to, so it could see all the beautiful sunsets. And it’s also um got fantastic levels. So you’d have your sort of your workers, the higherups, and then there’s a top level. As we go around, I will give you some more facts. So I thought we’ll just soak it up and show you guys. Do comment below if you are into your sort of like history. Personally, I like a bit of everything, but this is really fascinating and really quite amazing to think that this is 2,000 years old. So, let’s have a little look. Let’s see Wagwan. So, this is Fountain Square. Fountain Square. This is one of the oldest cities in roads and they had fresh water running underground uh with like pipes and stuff. If you think 2,000 years ago, sometimes I wonder if we can even uh swell the plumbing layer on for a minute. UK and I think 2,000 years ago they had like fresh water running to their population. It’s a quite a insane thing to think of. So it was a proper city. It had freshwater systems. It had houses stacked on the levels at the top. It had the Acropolis and the temple of Etheros down here. Homes, shops, and a public square. So it had everything basically. Let’s have a little look up here. We got these gorgeous views. You can see in the distance as well. I believe that is Mammoth Turkey. I might be completely wrong. As I said, my geography is horrendous. So, what I might do with this video is put some fun little facts and add it in because I’m sort of learning as we go along. And again, like comment if you know your stuff. Are you a history bust? All right. So, this is Helen Steak Houses. think that I’m in someone’s front lounge right now. Someone’s budwoir. So, it was like €10 to get into here. We had a little coffee at the little cafe there. It does stretch out for quite a while, so there’s a lot to see. I think €10 is quite reasonable. Um, a lot of the places we’ve been to usually charge around five. Like I said, this is a much bigger complex and a lot more to see. Let’s keep things like this intact and protected. I see why you have to pay. So, I don’t think it’s a bother, but you know, comment below if you think it should be free or if you think €10 is too steep. So, we’re going to go up those stairs and get our workout in today. So, this would have all been houses, which is really crazy to think about. breathtaking view. So apparently this site got hit by two major earthquakes but was rebuilt. So it’s been rebuilt twice this site. all obviously years and years ago. So, it survived a lot. Right, let me get up these stairs and I’ll give you some more facts cuz it is about 37 at the moment. Nearing 40 little bit of shade. Wonder if someone would sit here and read their philosophy and chill out. Look at the view and ponder what they’re going to do with their day. Crazy to think. So yeah, we just walked from down there. So the first earthquake was in 226 BC and the second was 142 BC and that wiped out and then they rebuilt it twice. So that is quite impressive. Right, let’s keep going. Obviously, it’s got most stability issues. This might not be the best one for you. I’ve got sandals on. There’s quite a lot of walking. So again, might you just bring your like walking trainers, hiking shoes, whatever you feel more comfortable doing. But yeah, crazy. All right, let’s have a look. not at me. I didn’t bother renovating it. Let’s have a quick look over here. This is some drop here. Look at this. You lot look over. It’s a lovely breeze coming off here. Imagine you own that bit down there. What is it? Olives, oranges. Yeah, they should be renovating these things. bring it back to its former glory. They did it with the pyramids many a times. That’s one place I think we have to go at some point. But won’t be for another couple of years. But I thought this place was massive. Actually on the map it looked ginormous. It cost €10 to get in. One coffee shop, brilliant views, load of rocks. Maybe I’m missing something. Let’s have a look. Just more beautiful views. more and more beautiful views. I mean, it must have been tough bringing up the shopping like back in the ancient days. Imagine have to walk up here every day if you bring me milk, bread. Guess they would have used the servants back then, wouldn’t they? So yeah, more beautiful views. You be sitting on your bog back in ancient times looking out the window. Let’s go have a look at this kind of sort more history. Ancient Greek history. Nice adventure. Imagine how many people sat there pondering about life. Lovely tree. More crickets. So, this is what it would have looked like. I mean, where’s that now? That fell down, was it? So, I can’t see it. And where’s all the pottery? They put it all in the museum. Let’s see. So, we got to do quick get some stones, renovate it back to its former glory, put a couple of coffee shops in there, couple of bars. You’ll be having a lovely time. Yeah, lovely to see stones. Oh, god damn. There’s no place for going down. It’s a brilliant idea. Coffee, some water. So, obviously done a bit of renovation there to keep them little pillars up. So they’re starting with renovation of the ancient city as they say in Spain. Amenana. We’ll do it later. A lot of people down here. All looking at bricks, stones.
