We are over 365 and counting soldiers who served during the war and have declared that we will not report for duty when called again. We refuse to take part in Netanyahu’s illegal war and we see it as a patriotic duty to refuse and to demand accountability from our leaders. We are the same refus We are the same reserveists and soldiers who dropped everything on October 7th and rushed to the fronts to report for duty to protect our people. It is precisely from that same sense of duty which we are driven to refuse and to use our voices loudly to resist Netanyahu’s attempts to sacrifice everything for his own political survival. Time and again, it has been proven to everyone with their eyes open that continuing this war is a grave blunder for Israel. Netanyahu’s ongoing war of aggression needlessly puts our own hostages in danger and has wrecked havoc on the fabric of Israeli society while at the same time killing, maming, and starving an entire population of Gazin civilians. actions which will leave a permanent stain on Israel’s once good name and also endangers Jews globally due to rising anti-semitism. Netanyahu and his partners have made it clear that the fundamental value of human life is unimportant to them. Even when talking about the Israeli lives which they are supposed to represent, including the lives of our own hostages who must come home now in a ceasefire hostage deal. Security experts, including the sitting chief of staff, Ayal Zamir, have condemned the plan to occupy Gaza as an action which will cost us dearly in the lives of our hostages and soldiers. And of course, it will also cost in the lives of uninvolved Gazen civilians. It is by the same values that drove us on October 7th to defend our homes and our loved ones that drive us now to say enough is enough. As IDF veterans who served in this war and care for the future of our country, it is our patriotic duty to refuse to take part in this war. Furthermore, it is the duty of every Zionist to refuse to support this war. Any act of legitimizing continuing hostilities over a hostage deal is inherently a betrayal of the hostages and a betrayal to the Israeli people. It is time for a complete and binding ceasefire hostage deal. It is time for total accountability. Thank you. explain a bit why you know what is making you say that what you’re basing that on and also was there a specific moment or event that triggered you to make this stand. I would say that in war actually as soldiers we only show up when there is legitimate reason to fight. You only go to war when there is legitimate reason to fight. We have hostage deals. The reason that we went to fight in this war is to bring home our hostages and to bring security to our country. And right now, our government is actively sabotaging attempts to uh to bring us that security. We’ve had hostage deals on the table which our government has has uh the past the last hostage deal which our government totally uh totally abandoned and uh broke. These are actions which make this war illegitimate. And so was it that moment broke the last deal that your decision to not serve again or was there one particular event? You’re asking me personally is my personal moment that triggered me to say that I would not go back was after the six hostages were killed in I think it was November. That was when I sent a message to my commander. I said, “Know that you’re down a medic. I’m not coming back.” And uh I wish you good luck and I hope you come back alive whenever uh whenever that’s relevant. Hi from anyone. I was in Gaza confirmed that civilians including children have been ordered to be killed in Gaza. I’m not sure that I understood the question. Can you can anyone who has been to Gaza confirm that that civilians including children have been ordered to be killed in Gaza that you have this order to kill civilians in Gaza? one of your uh order. As far as explicit orders, I’m not aware of any explicit orders and that’s something that can be uh that can be looked into afterwards. I don’t have any I don’t have any information on explicit orders that have been given to kill civilians. You can never see something like that. Never happened that your eyes to see something like from IDF that kill I don’t explain about I expain about what you was able to see I personally so again I’m talking I’m talking on a personal level at this point I personally did not fight in Gaza I was deployed on the northern border of Lebanon um so I can’t I can’t attest to anything personally. And as Ron said in Hebrew just uh just a few moments ago, when the government does not have the legitimacy of the soldiers, it doesn’t have the support of the soldiers and it doesn’t have the support of the people, it doesn’t have the legitimacy to continue a war.
