I um love Greece with just the the history to it and seeing the monuments. It’s kind of it’s kind of the thing that you only see like in magazines and I’m right here. Uh it was a tough climb to the top of the Acropolis, but you know, I made it and I’m so glad I did. I was going to say, “No, I’m not going to wait. I’m not going to waste my time and not going to do it.” I’m so glad I did it. Uh, hey Ronald, how’s it going? I know you’re you’re never late, Ronald. H happy belated birthday. I appreciate it. You’re never late, Ronald. Don’t ever worry about that. Uh, love the sunset. Yep. If I could if I could just get those people just to move to the side a little. Anyway, uh that’s what I came out here for do the sunset. And when I started seeing I’m like, “Hey, go live.” I bought I bought the upgraded we had an internet package but he only had it for an hour a day but I I bought the upgraded package which for the whole seven cruise was like um 85 euro so I didn’t think that was too bad. I mean it’s alive but I didn’t think it was too bad and that way I don’t have to worry about the internet and and uh our the Acropolis is st it it really is I felt like I stepped back into time. I I felt like I stepped back into time. I as far as sites this and maybe when I went to Alaska and the very first time going cruising and seeing a beach in like the Caribbean and seeing how clear the water was. Those are probably three top things that that I saw. Uh Mount Fuji, I didn’t get a good view, but I was glad to see it. But it it it didn’t it didn’t um thrill me like like like this so far. Uh okay, let me don’t I don’t want to fall behind in chat. Oh, touristry was the tourist uh area at the Acropolis there. It it wasn’t touristy at all. I mean, there’s really not there wasn’t a lot there. Uh I think they at towards the end they had like a shop or something. But you know once you started going up the Acropolis there was nothing literally nothing there but but the ruins now all through the marketplace down in Athens and in the uh Monister Rocki Square. Yeah. It was nothing but shops there trying to sell you stuff. sound like uh you’re at a biblical it well that’s you you start hearing the story and you start hearing about how the you know the the ancient times and the Romans and and I mean it there’s just so much history here but yeah I’m this is back I’m sure some kind of biblical story about it I’ll lift it up so you can see it over the rail all of Greece and the surrounding uh islands really bring you back to those ancient history It is. But but she let you know and and gave you the cost of everything. I mean, I I don’t think I could get a better view. I don’t come out here at daytime at the pool area, but I mean, usually there’s not a whole lot of people out here. Well, people that saw me last night, you know what I’m talking about. I’m It’s 1:00 at night and I’m thinking I’m getting ready to go down to the casino and then go to the nightclub. I go to both places. The the nightclub was still open. Nobody was in it. They still were playing music. And the casino was completely closed. I mean, they weren’t even vacuuming the floors to me. That that was crazy. Oh, and by the way, I know the other day one of my lives I I was bragging about not losing anything. I I lost the cover to my case. I It looks like it broke it. So, probably pulling it in and out of my pocket. It probably caught on something. I can’t find it, but it could be in my bag. So, I’m going to look at my bag. But right now, it looks like it it it uh it snapped. So, even if I find it, it probably wouldn’t be any good. So, yep. I made it what about four or five days? Yeah. Uh MTG Slides, good. I just haven’t I for whatever reason when I get on a cruise ship I don’t eat that much and I’m I’m finicky but I do like the desserts baklava um would be right up my alley but I didn’t see that sitting in the like and I’ve only been to the buffet this second night I’ve only been to the buffet tomorrow I’ll go to dinner see what they have uh only thing I will say about the food is the food isn’t bad it’s just it’s just not warm enough you know u good selection the food. I mean, Greece, it has been through a lot as far as you know, the different people that you know had conquered the land, the Romans, and we have, you know, talking about the how the Nazis um you know, destroyed all the Jewish cemeteries. It it’s just they had a lot. It’s just a ton of history. If you love you love history, I would say definitely book like a European cruise. Not necessarily Greece. I like Greece because when I see all these old monuments, some of the some of the um monuments dated back to the Roman era, you know, the 160 BC. And just just looking at it’s like who said it? Somebody else said it. Uh, I forget somebody in one of my pictures like they built that back in 100, you know, 160 BC and we can’t have roads that last 5 years. And I’m like, you know what? Can you imagine like going to the parthonon and just how what took what it took to build that uh right the age and the times were blow it it does it’s almost you can’t even imagine it you know I I can’t even imagine stuff from when I was born I know I I don’t know cracks I know I’m ancient but my goodness have you tried any uh uzo oozo I did everybody nobody wanted to right with me. They say, “Oh, it’s nasty.” I didn’t think it was that bad. I thought he was going to give me a shot, but I got actually like a fullsized cup of it. But I I like it. I like it. But sometimes they’re so late with it that it’s like well was that the church or what did I miss it? You know it’s but uh no I enjoyed the history but I I I guess if you get enough people you can do anything you want. Uh it gives me chills uh when you look about it when you talk about it. Uh I’ve walked those cobble ah they had they had a guy it was slick. I mean I was really nervous. I mean I know a lot of times I just talk uh but I was actually nervous because it was so slick at spots and it was uneven. And one guy he fell he was older guy older than me. He was an older guy. Fell back, hit his head, and they they had to take him down. They had to take him down for a medical emergency. And it was tough. And it’s like, you know, no handrails, just steps. And I always, you know, whenever I go up and down the steps, I’m on a cruise ship, I go up and down the steps, uh, the steps, I’m using a handrail. I’m so used to using the handrail when I go up and down the, you know, steps that it felt awkward. And so now I’m doing on this slick surface potentially. And there was a couple of times I I felt how slick it was. I didn’t come close to falling, but it it was ah it was it was special. It was special. And a matter of fact, I was talking to my daughter. I called her earlier today and told her that cuz she always wants to wanted to go to Greece and I I keep trying to tell her tell her you do it while you’re young. Now is not probably a good time because of the kids and they’re probably too young. I mean, they’re good kids, but I I don’t when you go to Europe, you’re doing a lot of walking. Um, they don’t rate you in the casino, so you don’t, you know, don’t expect any free cruises. It’s it’s it’s it’s a step back and you saw that I had to do like the uh I had to do the um mustard drill with take the life jacket out of your room, which by the way might not be the worst thing because it took me a while to, you know, get it put on properly. I mean, I was able to get over my head, but it’s like tying it down and all. It it took a while. So, my suggestion would be to have everybody try to don’t bring it with you. Keep the muscle drill the way that it is, but tell everybody, hey, uh, practice putting on your life jacket in your room just so so it’s just not like, you know, the ship is sinking and now you got to try to make sure you do it right. So, I guess nice background. Thank you. Thank you. I’d love to take a uh a river cruise in Europe. Whoops. I think where I go. But they are almost they are so Oh, dang expensive. Emojis. Well, you you have to I mean I it’s for most people it’s going to be decide what you want. I’m just tired of of like the shorter cruises. I I love going on these longer cruises better, you know? I mean, I love the big ships and all that, but uh I I I’m the longer cruises. That’s why I love Carnival. For I mean I have nothing bad to say because they offered me some great cruises. Some great cruises for for very little money which allowed me to see a lot of the world. A lot of times when you see on my extended cruises uh it’s because of Carnival. So I’m not mad at him. YOLO says Norway is amazing too. Want to go back there as well. Now you talk about somebody who’s travels. That’s Yolo. And I YOLO. I did not realize it. I I did not realize how much you actually travel. TJ, I’m chilling at Orlando’s airport right now for five hours. You on your way back home, TJ? So, when’s when’s the next adventure? Is that the one in November? Everybody saying, “Hi, Angel.” It doesn’t matter how old or young you are. Accidents, they do. But when I was younger, I I truly never thought about it. Man, I love that view. You would be surprised at how affordable it can be. It can you just have to look for the deals. And that’s uh um came up with this deal and it had like a drink package. She had like an hour Wi-Fi um for it was like $1,400. So I I thought it was a pretty good deal. And so far I think most people, you know, think the same thing. Cruz Bolero, welcome in. Welcome in. Appreciate you being here. Egypt is amazing deal, but a little scary. Yeah. And then I I I realized that I’m not going inside the temples or the pyramids because I’m too claustrophobic. And I watched a few videos. Uh, it it’s I’m too I can do it. But I told my son I I’mma take him and he got to go and get all the footage. The video is so clear. And my husband is more Irish than uh than Polish at this point. All right. It’s beautiful. Just uh take it all in. I do. I mean, I I really do. I I I live for like like these moments. But it it was so it was so beautiful and it was about time for the sun to set. Probably Fats and Tree or what time is it? One, two o’clock. or if they’re not going now, they’re going to be going live in a little bit. But it was so beautiful. I just I just wanted to go live for anybody who wanted to see it. This Oh, I’m TJ. I’m like, how is TJ still on a ship? You had a a 15-day side by side cruise. Was nice. I like the long cruises. Did you do uh like two different itineraries or did you do the same ports? I I like when you like if you can stay on the same ship usually do like a eastern and then a western uh itinerary so you get a you get a different one valid valid valist valis anyway welcome in welcome in my friend appreciate you being in here uh Bill that’s not happening no one wants to be to put on a wife jacket. No, no, no, no. I’m not I’m not suggesting that you put it on. I just just practice putting it on in your cabin. I’m not suggesting taking it and and do like I did yesterday. No, I would never I I wouldn’t make it off the cruise alive, but just get in the habit of of doing it. It It’s hard to do things right when you when you’ve never done it before. I know we all think we can. We saw it enough times, but I I literally when they you know, they’re all a little bit different. And when they asked me to put it on yesterday, it it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I mean, I mean, don’t get me wrong, I figured it out, but I just it would be nice to try it on in your cabin. Carnival has been sending me uh crazy casino deals. I booked two cruises while on this one. Yeah, I I’ve had so many offers from Royal. Matter of fact, uh MSE MSE just sent me World America and I I kind of wanted to go because my my my um friend is doing an anniversary cruise on World America, but I won’t I’m not available. I have to look at it and see. I don’t think I’m available. Uh I’m probably going to be on another cruise, but that’s what I was waiting for before I booked the one in in November. I’m going to World America November, but hey, I’ll I’ll go twice. Hello, our uh Greek friend. Oh, he Oh, he’s from Greece. Well, welcome in. Well, thank you for letting me see your beautiful country. I I I love your country, Lori, Barbara, Bill. Back then, we called it self insurance. We were getting on the ship from hella high water. We were invinc. I I did up until about two years ago, I felt like I was invincible. Now, my back hurts, my knees hurt. Uh, I make sure I don’t miss the steps. I try not to. Uh, seven days on Carnival Marty GR then eight days on Carnival Vista. Right. Terry on the Marty Gro got changed because Oh, it did. Right. Right. Yep. That’s going to be a good story to tell. That’s going to be a real good story to tell. Okay, I’mma give one more little quick pe. One more little quick pee at the sunset and then I’m gonna get ready to get out of here. So, I’m pretty sure I’m sorry you I was taking a picture. Um, so I probably won’t I probably won’t be on World America until November 22nd when when Ryan PK Adventures when he goes.
