Cyprus in Summer | Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaca | travel vlog
Starting our morning bright and early at 5am! We’re on our way to Ayia Napa to see the sunrise We’re doing some beach hopping It’s roughly a 30mins drive from my house it’s only been 20 mins and the sky is already bright! We made it! We actually saw more people than I expected For this time of the day The easiest parking I’ve found at this beach though haha We’re going to walk down to the beach Time to relax and enjoy the sunrise A bit cloudy today, but still beautiful A wild boop appeared >< This beach is normally soooo busy It's so nice to come here with so few people around The star of the show is back haha And now it's time for a swim! The water was at the perfect temperature And visibility super clear! After Konnos we decided to try another beach It's a very small beach, so make sure to come early Time for our next swim! We didn't see much in this dive but was still very nice Just a little needlefish Time for our last stop of the day! Another really small and busy beach But it is summer after all! A cool bag is a must in this weather After going for a swim it's time for some food We came to the restaurant bar here by the beach Such a cute place with beautiful views My boyfriend got some chicken souvlaki with pitta for €14.90/£12.91 And I got a frappe for €3.50/£3.03 There's a small platform at the cafe So you can easily jump in to cool off This is me 24/7 during the summer time haha Honestly i came for the chocolate pie it's sooo good Chicken Linguine with spinach sauce and feta for €12.50/£10.83 Chocolate pie with mastixa ice cream for €5.50/£4.77 Continuing with some ice cream I got rose and mastiha for €4/£3.47 Mastiha, pistachio and bueno for €5.50/£4.77 Small walk to enjoy our ice cream I love coming for a sunset walk here Ready for an early night in after this Time for our morning dive! First time here and it's so pretty But a bit slippery to enter the water There's a small parking right by the beach And we're ready to go Just entering the area we saw so many school of fish already We swam all the way to the buoys That's where the underwater museum is The museum was created to attract marine life There was a jelly fish that all the fish were eating, poor dude haha Look at my sister in law, Becky, doing this amazing dive Massive sea urchins Puffer fish found! So cute but actually poisonous and invasive haha I was having such a hard time equalizing today If anyone knows what this fish is please let me know! One of the biggest needle fish I found! Just finished our dive We went in for about 2 hours We saw some I think *parrot fish (not groupers) Squirrel fish Calamaris (I was so excited for this!!) Lion fish (very poisonous) I think that's pretty much it We were looking for the seal but yeah and turtle but we didn't We're off to relax at a the next beach Arrived at the beach It's actually so busy here, so come early We sat under the bridge on our towels See you after the beach! Came for burgers from a Manchester contestant Halloumi burger for €8.50/£7.37 Fried chicken burger for €10/£8.67 Fries for €3.50/£3.03 Tavern with all our friends It's a set menu, so a lot of food! It was so fun to see all of us together again Ready for sleep Arrived around 8:30 and we found a lot of free spots! Must have extra umbrellas are up! We sat down for a bit before heading to the cafe by the hotel We got a bit hungry so we're moving to the cafe I love this cafe! It's close to the small pier that you can jump off of You can go for a swim and then come here to sit down Time for one of my favourites, mahalepi! A vegan cooling cypriot dessert It was €6.50/£5.63 Rummikub time The concentration is real haha Food now after a long beach day Cuties everywhere >.< Not the best place for veggie options But my friends that had meat and fish loved it! Dressed and ready to hit the town! There's a small event in town We'll go for a walk and then for some drinks Love the cocktails at this place Martini Rosso vermut on the rocks for €7.50/£6.50 Skaliotis for €9.50/£8.23 Mai Tai for €9/£7.80 Another day starting with the beach haha We came around 9:30 And it was so busy already! Make sure you come early It's still one of my favourite beaches though Time to relax here for a bit Before heading to the beach bar So pretty here! After a long beach day it's time to head home Back at Makenzy For a late night walk with my friends Such a pretty night with the full moon It was so busy tonight Took about 30 mins to get our food But the staff told us before we ordered Such a nice variety of food! We got the vegan strips bao for €9.90/£8.58 Katsu beef tendeloin sando for €12.90/£11.18 Pork Bulgogi Bao for €8.40/£7.28 Shrimp tempura bao for €9.40/£8.15 Some of the best baos we've had! Highly recommend! Good morning from Ayia Napa! We pre-booked one of the areas with seats and bean bags There's a minimum charge of €30/£26 per person here Such a nice relaxing place! The beach water is also very clear here We got plenty of frappes to start the day Fish tacos - €17.50/£15.17 Tender octopus - €28.50/£24.70 Tataki Tostadas - €15/£13 Romesco Linguine - €15.50/£13.43 Golden crispy chicken burger - €17.50/£15.17 This is nice Yeah? We got Cypriot lemonade (€10/£8.67) I think So mastiha and lemonade I think mine has more alcohol I can taste the alcohol in this one But still really nice We came for a snack before heading to dinner with the family So we are at Lokmakos Time for dinner! Such a nice evening for a family dinner Caccio e pepe al tartufo - €28/£24.27 Lamb shank - €26/£22.53 Chicken rebuke salad - €19.50/£16.90 Texas "Brisket" vegan burger - €17/£14.73 Wild mushroom risotto - €18/£15.60 Rigatoni with chicken cajun - €17.50/£15.17 And a tiramisu (€12/£10.40) to end the night Plane watching to start the day! This is a slower day so starting a bit late We came for some morning coffee! Such a cute place And lovely staff Getting our energy up for the day Arrived at the beach Going through this small path to get to the beach This is a lesser known beach so not so busy! But a bit windy And also brought some food to relax here After a few hours we came back to Kalifi as it's less windy to swim Ready to snorkel! We saw these striped eel catfish for the first time but apparently they are super poisonous eek So what did we see today? What did we see tell us! We saw a massive octopus That was absolutely insane It was humongous And just sitting out That was crazy I've never seen one just sitting out on the rocks Insane! And then we also saw some little fish Just black with white, wasn't it? - Yeah - That was also very odd I've never seen those before - Cat, cat eel fish? I need to look it up - and they never - The don't seem scared, that's so weird - No, they were really curious But oh my gosh we saw an octopus! Day done! Good evening! Driving to the restaurant The restaurant we're going it is the one on the right ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎ Our last meal of the trip! Zucchini fritters - €11/£9.53 We had such a good time here! Grilled chicken thighs - €15.50/£13.43
