The Most Underrated Places in Europe

[Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Think you’ve seen it all in Europe? Think
again. Flag European Union. In this video, we’re revealing the hidden gems of Europe you’ve
never heard of. 2025 edition. From colorful villages tucked in the mountains to coastal
towns that feel like untouched paradise, these destinations are off the radar, but they won’t be
for long. So grab your passport because your next great adventure starts now. One Costalucio, Italy.
First up, Costellio. A magical hilltop village in central Italy. Located in the Cibellini Mountains,
this gem is famous for its surreal piano grande. A vast field that explodes in vibrant color every
spring with wild flowers, poppies, and lentils in bloom. It’s the kind of place where the air
smells like rosemary. The locals still make their own pecorino cheese, and you can hike all day
without seeing another tourist. Trust me, if you want Italy without the crowds, this is your place.
To Denant, Belgium. Next, we head north to Denant, Belgium, a dramatic riverside town built beneath
towering cliffs. Most people rush through Belgium for Brussels or Bruge, but Denant is something
else. Imagine kayaking down the Muse River with a fortress above you, tasting local coup den
biscuits, or taking a cable car up to the ancient citadel for panoramic views. Bonus fact, it’s the
birthplace of Adolf Saxs. Yes, the inventor of the saxophone 3 githorn Netherlands. This next one is
for the romantics. Gethhorn, a Dutch village with no roads. That’s right, no cars, just canals,
little wooden bridges, and whisper boats. Doug the Venice of the North, Gethhorn offers something
uniquely peaceful. Explore by boat, cycle the lush countryside, or sip wine in a garden cafe by
the water. If you’re tired of city traffic and tourist traps, Githorn is your slow travel dream
come true. Four. Sesopel, Bulgaria. Let’s head to the Black Sea coast now. Sopel, Bulgaria. This
ancient seaside town is over 2,600 years old and oozes charm. Think crumbling Greek ruins,
sundredged beaches, and seafood so fresh it might still be moving. Even better, prices are
a fraction of what you’d pay in Western Europe. You can have a gourmet meal, glass of local wine,
and still stay on budget. Five. Perujes. France. Ever dreamed of stepping into a fairy tale?
Perujes. France is a perfectly preserved medieval village near Leon. It’s so untouched. It’s been
the backdrop of countless period films. Walk the ramparts, try a sugar gallette, and feel like
you’ve traveled back in time. Six. The Pharaoh Islands. Ready to escape into the wild? The
Pharaoh Islands, a self-governing part of Denmark, are like Iceland’s secret cousin. Towering cliffs,
waterfalls that drop into the sea, and a landscape that feels like another planet. This is where you
go when you want pure nature and fewer crowds. Pro tip: Go in summer for 24-hour daylight and
incredible hiking. The most unexpected gem, Cotor, Montenegro, and the hidden gem that took my breath
away the most. Cotor, Montenegro. Nestled along a fjord-like bay, Cotor is like a mix of Venice
and Dravnik without the tourist crowds. Wander the walled city, hike up the fortress at sunrise,
or take a boat to the mysterious island church or Lady of the Rocks. It’s romantic, historic, and
shockingly affordable. And in 2025, it’s still one of Europe’s bestkept secrets. So, there you have
it. Seven hidden gems in Europe you’ve probably never heard of but need to add to your 2025 travel
