Starting the Camino in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port | Camino de Santiago #caminodesantiago

We spent 2 days in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (SJPdP), the starting point of the Camino de Santiago! From walking Rue de la Citadelle and exploring the UNESCO-listed Porte St. Jacques, to climbing the citadel walls for epic Pyrenees views, it was the perfect Camino kickoff.
We also stopped at the Pilgrim Office to get our Camino credential and scallop shell—plus did a little shopping (but not much buying since we’ll need to carry everything to Santiago).
