The CRAZIEST 25m Bridge Jump
In my last video, I found waterfalls and a fortress right in the middle of a town center. But now I’m in Musta, one of the most photogenic towns in the Balkans. Unreal views, chaotic energy, and locals launch themselves off the iconic bridge for fun. This is part two of my three-part Bosnia series. Let’s get into it. [Music] Six years ago, I spent almost all of my time at Mustar in a bar called Labyrinth, which I’m just pulling up to now. It’s just here. Incredible view of the bridge. If I remember correctly, very reasonably priced and one of my favorite views, favorite angles of the bridge. So, I’m just going to head there for breakfast. Breakfast was unreal. an omelette and a Bosnian coffee, which was 15 Bosnian marks, which is about €7.50. It’s a bit on the expensive side for Bosnia, but so worth it with this view. [Music] I’ve just ordered a Sarvvesco, the local beer. [Music] What a view. Probably a little bit early to start drinking, but it’s hard not to with a view like this. So, no regrets. I’ve seen videos on YouTube, but I’ve never actually seen her in person. And apparently people will dive off this bridge, which is absolutely crazy behavior. I think someone’s about to do it. Let me quickly get the camera turned around. Just there’s a shirtless guy at the top. He seems to be hyping himself up. So, I’m pretty confident that he’s going to jump, but how soon he will do it? Yet to be seen. Don’t know if you can hear that in the background, but there’s um all sorts of prayers going on at the moment from the mosques which surround this city. See if I can get a nice view of them. [Music] I don’t know if he’s going to jump. I don’t blame him. If you look at it, it’s a crazy jump and the water is not that deep. It’s filled with rocks. He must know what he’s doing. So, one of the bartenders just updated me. Uh, you can clearly see me suffering in the sun here. Uh he said that he’s not going to jump just yet. They need at least €50. So it looks like they’re just in the raising money stage right now. Once they get that €50, yeah, they’ll uh they’ll go ahead. So for now, head back to my SVSco and wait patiently. I cannot believe it. I’ve just got back to my table and he’s jumped. I completely missed it. One thing I’ve learned about Bosnian beers since arriving in Moscow, the local beer in SVO is the Sarco, which I’ve been drinking since I arrived in Bosnia. Last night I discovered that the mustar beer is Moarco. I am about to do an experiment. I have a mustco and a sibco. [Music] I want to compare the two. See which one I think is nicer. So, we’ll start with the Sioskco, the one I’m used to. [Music] It’s very good, which I knew. Let’s try the mustachas. So, I’ve only ever had one of these. [Music] That’s also good. Lastco [Music] wins for me. Definitely after the Masco and Sioskco experiment. Made my decision. [Laughter] Rachel’s just squirted balsamic vinegar all over the place. Uh yeah. So yeah, I will be drinking Sarahos from now on with a little bit of balsamic vinegar. With a little bit of balsamic vinegar. Okay, let’s hope this is the time. There’s someone shirtless holding a flag. I’m really hoping he’s about to jump. That sounds awful. That does sound awful. [Music] Yeah, [Music] you did it. Amazing. That is unbelievable. It’s so high. There’s boats all over the place. There’s rocks. You can actually see the rocks really well from this angle. They must just know exactly which part of the water to jump in. Fascinated. It’s currently 400 p.m. We arrived at pretty much midday. So, we’ve been here for 4 hours eating and drinking sooos. It was not our plan. We plan to come for breakfast, but honestly so warm and so beautiful. Easily done. I’m also sweating. No regrets. This has been amazing. One last brew of the bridge. Sos. One last view of the bridge from this angle before we move on. After four long hours, I finally left Labyrinth. I remember when I came here 6 years ago. I spent almost my entire time drinking at that bar, eating, drinking, and yeah, I kind of thought I missed out on exploring. But now I’m back here. I I can see why. It’s so warm. The idea of relaxing in the shade with a nice view so appealing. I see why I did exactly that last time. I imagine I’ll do pretty similar this time around again. We’ve been gone for 2 minutes. Rachel just said we’ve been gone for 2 minutes and she’s overheating already. And I have to agree. Anyway, just arrived into the market. Let me show you around. [Music] Two Kashmir scarves for €15. Pretty good. Although it’s currently about 30°, so the exact opposite of what I need right now. Oh, I’m not worried about the price. Currently wearing a horrible, horrible pair of fake Ray-B bands that I bought in Portugal for about €4. Within about two days, the Ray-B band peeled off. I think I’ve just got an R left. Yeah, these look pretty good. And um check these out. Let me see how much they are. Just need to find a member of staff. So pretty in here. Kashmir scarfves. Again, I love these Ottoman style markets. So pretty. Excuse me. How much are the sunglasses? €15. How much? 15. €15. Okay, so 30 marks. Okay, thank you. So €15 30 marks. It’s definitely on the expensive side for Bosnia. Did you hear that, Miguel? 15. So 30 marks. me that I’m not going to give up. Rachel’s fine with that. Let’s have a look, Rachel. Look at that. Beautiful. Okay, so I’ve settled for my same waffle glasses, but just wanted to show you around this little shop. I’ve just seen the um pens that I saw on a daily occurrence in Sao, which is so cool. saw those absolutely everywhere in S. It’s the first time I’ve seen them since then, but just pens made of bullets, which is insane. I’d love to buy one, but considering that I will be flying to Ireland from Croatia. They will definitely be taken off me because they are real bullets. So, yeah, probably not worth the risk. I have just found one of the most fascinating collection of items in a shop that I’ve ever seen. Look at this. We’ve got knuckle dusters here. Pile of knives. Few guns. Ridiculous. This is a gun made of bullets. €15. I have just seen something fascinating. There’s a shop here that is selling all sorts of war antiques and also includes um random passports of people that I don’t know how they’ve got hold of these passports, but they’re for sale um right outside a mosque. Fascinating. There’s the mosque. There’s all sorts of war equipment right here. That’s Bosnia in a nutshell. So, plan of action from here. We have been looking at the bridge, hoping to watch people jump and also seeing boats just whiz around the water repeatedly. Given that it’s so hot, the idea of being on a boat on the water with a breeze sounds insane. So, we’re going to try and scope that out. There’s actually a couple here. Just flip the camera around. That looks amazing. Get me down there. Engine’s on. Let’s go. [Music] I’ve just ventured to the other side of the Musta Bridge and it’s so beautiful here. So, you can just see where I was over here. That’s where I got the speedboat. And now, yeah, I’m on this unbelievable bridge. Look how nice this restaurant/bar looks. Unbelievable place. I love Mustar. I love Bosnia. Mustar is absolutely wild. Cheap beers, insane souvenirs, the views, and that jump. This place is just as good as I remember. Next up, we’re going to one of the most insane natural wonders I’ve ever seen. Bosnia’s Gravica waterfalls. Hit subscribe if you haven’t already, and I’ll see you in part three. [Music]
