Our day off in France | Beyond the Beauty

right here. That’s kind of weird. Okay. So, one of the best parts of being on a production with beautiful destinations is in your free time, you can go do things in the town that you’re seeing and the town that you’re shooting in. The most speedy thing you could do is do a sunrise mission. So, on our free day, we’re doing a sunrise mission. Right, Tom? Yeah. There’s no better way to wake up our shoot than going for a morning swim. This is the way to cure your jet. All right, let’s do this. Looks so good. No better way to wake up. So, with all the madness, with all the craziness on a shoot, you can find little pockets of time to get to enjoy this and see the cities that you’re shooting. You can always rely on your crew to laugh with you, to have fun, and truly have made some of my best friends at this job. Everyone’s just so fun. Finished shooting for the day. So, we’re going to go on a hike all the way to the top and you can see all the South France. Let’s go. The locals are betting against us. We have about less than 2 hours until sunset. Probably going to have to run to make it. Oh my gosh, look at this. We did it. Wow. Oh my gosh. That looks so cool. No, that looks insane. Being in places like this grounds you. It re-energizes you. And it makes it makes it all better.

What does the BD team get up to in their downtime?

Shoots aren’t just about the locations we film – it’s also about the moments in between. In the South of France, we found ourselves hiking until sunset, diving into the sea at sunrise, and just enjoying the downtime together. These are the little memories that stick long after the cameras stop rolling.
