      Malaysia is certainly on the world stage big time this year, no countries on earth can even measure to the level of geo-political relevance and significance like Malaysia.

      Playing host for this year's ASEAN Summit, Malaysia chairs many different meetings and cooperation among its member states, and ASEAN plus 3 . During this Chairmanship, Malaysia has inked some of the most respectable accomplishments never seen before, playing host and mediator to forge new cooperation such as ASEAN+China partnership, ASEAN+China+GCC partnership, with the effort made to advocate to admit the newest member, Timur-Leste will officially become a full member this year to be formalized in Kuala Lumpur later during the biggest meet-up of all head of states.

      No ASEAN Summit will be as extraordinary and outstanding as the ASEAN 2025 by Malaysia. In the midst of this geo-political standoffs not only between China-USA, it is a multi-corner hostility with USA having strained relationship with Canada, EU, Russia, and now India. So much is happening and Malaysia is tip toeing amongst these giants to be extra careful to not be caught in between but to remain neutral with everyone.

      Somehow, Malaysia has managed to give the world an event that is not thought possible by many, or even anyone, yet it is happening later in October. President Trump has confirmed his presence is expected in KL for the ASEAN Summit, President Xi will be coming to KL again, for the 2nd time this year for the summit, other than all the ASEAN leaders being present, the traditional partners such as S Korea and Japan will be in town for sure, India's Modi would certainly not wanting to mmiss this golden opportunity as the most powerful leaders will be in town, he has to show face. Even more astounding is Brazilian President, South African Primise Minister have confirmed their attendance. EU will have its rep as usual.

      Now, it is said that President Putin will be coming too, and I hope he does and I believe he would be coming knowing he is very safe coming here for sure. I believe, Australian and NZ PM will be coming especially the Albanese, he wud hate to not a part of it. I have a strong feeling that, the UK PM and French Macron would certainly find their ways here, even uninvited. This is the biggest party of the century, every A lister is gathering here in the Capital of Malaysia, every press and media will want to be here to capture the very first hand headlines, imagine the photograph taken where for the first time, the two giants come face to face, the moment of handshake between President Xi and President Trump would be PRICELESS! Another shot with President Xi, President Trump and President Putin in one frame, this is a picture many thought would never be possible, but Malaysia makes it a reality to be.

      No summit or meetings of any kind in the world, not even BRICS,APEC, RCEP, etc have succeeded in RSVP so many super VIPs to confirm their attendance, the world is flying into KL and gather. The media is anxious to find out, if there will be a closed door meeting between China and US, if so, what is being discussed, will there be any surprising announcements to bring good news to the world, will be rekindle the partnership? All these….

      Will Trump and Putin find a common ground here in Malaysia where they failed in Alaska, to seal a deal to resolve the issue with Ukraine invasion?

      I doubt Modi will get a chance to hold a closed door meeting with Trump, as Trump certainly doesn't take India seriously and it is never in his top priority in his agenda. HIs biggest objectives would be CHINA and RUSSIA, that's the two partnerships he desperately wanna get, and Malaysia has definitely paved a great opportunity to allow this to materialize, without any side losing face.

      With this ASEAN Summit to suddenly propelling into the ONE major global event, Malaysia certainly puts itself a big mark on the world map, and its status to further being respected and credited for being a small country that makes a huge impact and to bring the major change of political headwind we have at the moment. The world would have a renewed perception and admiration for Malaysia, being relatively a small low key country with such unbelievable diplomatic excellence in staging the biggest talk in town, like biggest in so many years where the world has not seen images where the biggest super powers coming together under the same roof ever since the trade war begun!

      Now, if I may speculate, don't be surprised if Mexican President would wanna be a part of this to ride this opportunity to uplift its profile, so is the Canadian PM who has such standoff with Trump, but in order to stay relevant especially knowing that half of the world will be gathering in Kuala Lumpur, he must not miss this golden opportunity to gain such international exposure. He may want to take this opportunity to break ice with China, Russia and India as Canada needs to find a way out to its survival.

      So much to look forward to! And the hype will continue to next year, as Malaysia will kick off its VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2026! Welcome to Malaysia, Truly Asia.

      The people are flocking to Malaysia, especially from the US; because the ringgit has lost it's value against the US Dollar. Retirees and even the working class come to Malaysia, and they are instantly rich from the Dollar conversion to the Ringgit. They can shell out $1,000 for a $ 4,000 ultra-luxurious suite. This awakened a vision of how great Kuala Lumpur is to foreigners, promoting a desire to move to KL and Penang, to enjoy their instant wealth.
