From Da Nang, we then traveled by plane to Kanto in the Mikong Delta. Kanto is full of opportunities to get an impression of the diversity of Vietnamese culture, fauna, and flora, history, and hospitality, as smile and friendliness are key to winning the hearts of the Vietnamese. Friendliness is emphasized even if something goes wrong. Cano is located on the How River, a tributary of the Mikong and is the largest city in the Mikong Delta besides Ho Chi Min. We visited the Kaang floating market which is the oldest in Vietnam, the rice noodle factory and the Cocoa Factory and not to forget the Li Do Wong Nature Reserve. We also practiced basket weaving. In the evening, we went out for a nice meal at a barbecue or to the night market to shop.
