Life in Naples Italy Left Me Speechless 2025
Guys, we are here in Naples. And before I get into the the intro, let me show you guys something real quick over here. I think it’s on this side. I just want to show it to you real quick. Right here on the right side. Some of you guys, well, most of you guys from southern Italy already know who this is, but you’re going to see this everywhere. I noticed it everywhere. Yeah, we’re going to talk about this man uh in the future. We’re going to talk about him later. But guys, I’ve always wanted to come to Naples for one main reason, because it’s supposed to be the birthplace of pizza, and I love pizza. So, I’ve been here for a few days so far, and every day I’ve had pizza. So, that was the plan. And I told myself when I got to Naples, I’m eating pizza every day. And so far, that plan is going well. It’s a Sunday. One of the reasons why many places are closed. One of the pizza spots I wanted to go to, uh, they’re closed. So, we’re going to try we’re going to try a new one. Hopefully, this works out. But, I’m walking there now. But, here goes a little taste of the city of Naples. And we’re in southern Italy. And let me just say uh yeah, so far the vibe has been a little different compared to northern Italy. Okay. A little bit more little rougher around the edges, but has some character. People here so far seem a lot more they seem louder, a lot more passionate just from my limited time here. Not saying everyone’s like that, but just that’s how the vibe has been. definitely more uh passionate. The whole stereotype of Italians speaking with their hands and and stuff like that. Yeah. It’s one of these. One second, guys. But this is the supposed to be the the classic, the margarita. Basically, it’s cheese sauce. I think some basil, but I don’t think that’s going to be heavy enough. So, I’m going to go with the diabola. Go with that. And then here goes some of the drinks. And as you notice, they keep it simple here. Just like five, six different different types. But yeah, the birthplace of pizza. So, we got to eat pizza every day. And there goes the man again on the menu. Yeah, he’s everywhere. Here. Bam. Go some pizza, guys. Oh, man. Please don’t copyright me, YouTube. I I got to talk over the music as you guys see. Delicious pizza, super thin crust. Okay, so you got to the middle is going to be softer, so you got to eat it with a um knife and a fork. Or what you can do is New York style and fold fold the pizza. But uh I don’t like folding my pizza. But here we go, man. Let’s uh let’s dig in. [Music] Made it worse. Look around. Guys, I’ve had this three days in a row. Stuff never gets old. But I I’ve had it from different restaurants. But this pizza, my favorite pizza in the world, Napoleono pizza is the best, guys. So, I’m just going to enjoy this. Oh, guys, destroyed. Oh, man. We’re We’ll talk more outside without the music. just got out. And guys, you sure already know. Delicious. Straight delicious. I will say this. I’m not a not ashamed to say this. Tonight I’m going to have the same meal. Probably not from the same restaurant, but definitely I’m having pizza tonight. Oh man. And if you’re wondering, Sly, come on now. That’s three days in a row having pizza and you’re going to have it again for dinner. Isn’t that too much? First of all, don’t be disrespectful. Don’t you ever say that about pizza. You can you can never have too much. But one of the things, and maybe this is a downside for some of you guys, but one of the things about that style pizza is that because it’s a very thin crust, it’s very light. So after you get done eating it, you don’t feel full. You don’t feel heavy and full. Like you guys ever had McDonald’s? And after you had McDonald’s, you were full and your stomach’s aching. You’re like, man, why would I eat that? That’s not with this style pizza because it’s again it’s very light. I want you guys to check out the vibe. If you watch my other Italian videos, you’ll notice it looks a little different. From what I understand, southern Italy, northern Italy are kind of the complete opposite. So, northern Italy is said to be the more bgeoa where the finance fashion is, where many industries are. I’m saying all that to say north is supposed to be richer whereas the south is supposed to be more family oriented, old school, hold on to more of their traditions, more laidback and not as rich. We’ll just say that that way. So that’s the those are the said to be the stereotypes, the cultural differences between the north and south of Italy that’s going to play a role into that guy. Pictures of that guy that I showed you earlier. And there’s a different side street you can walk on. And this is interesting. Oh, look at this. Normally every home has clothes hanging from their balcony, their window, but this one they have clothes hanging from the middle. It’s kind of like the the pyramids of Egypt, like how how are the pyramids of Egypt built? Hey yo. Hello. Yep. Different style, different vibe. Yeah, that’s Wow, that’s crazy. But keep it moving. Also, if you couldn’t tell, you’re going to hear a lot less uh English on this side. A lot less English. Remember I told you you guys were going to see the this dude everywhere. [Music] See him straight ahead. Same guy. And right next to him it says Dios which means God. Oh means God’s in Spanish. So I’m guessing God in Italian as well. You guys know Italian, Spanish, French, Romanian, Portuguese, all come from the same family. [Applause] Yeah, it’s called uh [Music] sorry. Yeah, I was actually going to try that drink later on. It’s called open legs lemonade. So, pretty much uh like a local lemonade and then they add baking soda to it which makes it explode. And so because of that, when you’re sitting down, you have to open your legs and drink it. Otherwise, the the fizzle will get onto your jeans and your pants. So that’s why they call open legs lemonade. Where I’m walking to right now is the metro station. Supposedly Naples has one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world. So we’re going to go check it out. As you guys know who keep up with the channel. Oh man, I love public transportation. I’ve been to some countries with some very beautiful metro stations, namely in the in the uh former Soviet states, Usbekiststan, Ukraine. The most beautiful metros I’ve seen have been in in Russia in Moscow. So, I don’t know. We’ll see. I never heard about metro stations in Naples, but we’re going to go check it out. So, making my way there. Heat. Heat. Hallelujah. [Music] kind of has a northern lights feel right up there. Okay. Nice station. Colorful. Kind of had the northern lights feel with the green and then the sparkles around. But I’ll just say, you know, I I gota still gota give it to Russia. Russia. And then as far as Europe, Russia and then I’ll go this way. Oh, I guess I’ll go this way. Oh, I’ll give it to Russia and then Sweden after that. Sweden after that, but nice metro station. And let me just say all of this before I forget. For the feminists out there, to the softies, I’m about to get misogynistic, shallow, as they say, any other synonyms for, you know, misogyny and only seeing women as a piece of meat. Oh, that all that’s about to come out now. So, pause the video for about maybe like 45 seconds. All right. Do it right now. All right. But nothing crazy. Let me just say that if you ever see a fine Italian chick, all right, chances are she’s from southern Italy. Okay, I’m I’m a bit money that the probability is like 96.3% that she’s from southern Italy. If you ever seen a baddy like in the US or or wherever, she’s probably from southern Italy. And then lastly, to the Hold on. To the black women watching, to the black women watching, I see y’all. I I caught y’all. Yeah, I I caught y’all. I don’t know if they’re black Americans or, you know, black from Africa. But I I caught y’all. That’s all I’m going to say. Uh I won’t say too much, but to the brothers out there, I got to look out for you. If your girl’s talking about she taking a trip to Italy with the girls. Okay. Talking about, “Oh, I’m just going to see uh the the the coliseum. I’m just going to see the coliseum.” Uh Dwayne or I’m just going to see the the the pizza. I think the what’s that building that’s kind of like leaning? I think it’s called pizza. Yeah. If she’s saying, “Oh, I’m just going to see that.” Yeah. Yeah. I don’t know. That’s all I’m going to say. I’m not trying to break up any homes, but I I don’t know. So, just to the you got a lot of different side streets. We’re going to hit one of these side streets in a second, but yeah, to the fellas, just Yeah, just know. Okay. But anyways, should be to the left. [Music] Uhhuh. Oh, don’t copyright me, YouTube. I got to talk over this music. [Music] It look like everyone else is coming here to pay their respects. Let me get in front of them. Like I said, if you see a a bad Italian, probably from southern Italy. All right. Okay, I think we’re pretty much here. You guys can see the the colors. You see the photo on the corner right there. [Music] Right there. You see this photo? More photos up here. Go behind him. Go behind the fullback. Got a logo. All right, here we go. Guy’s name is Hold on. Damn. Guy’s name is Maradona. Well, I might Let me just show you the the the view and then I’ll probably talk about it later. All right. So, the guy’s name is Madona. Very famous here in Naples. Let me see. They go this way. We We’ll We We’ll talk in a second. Oh, excuse me. Ah, there we go. Excuse me. All right. All right, we got some more of the the open leg lemonade right here. Okay, we’ll walk this way, guys, cuz it’s uh it’s hot. So, basically, the guy we just saw name is Maradona. Believe it or not, he’s actually from Argentina. However, he’s a famous soccer player that played for the Naples team. And so let’s go this way. He had a a ton of success here. He brought a ton of uh championships, trophies, and titles to the Naples city at a time when Naples, not only did they feel like they were overlooked, especially from northern Italy. As I talked about earlier, Northern Italy is said to be more of the the bougie, richer side, whereas southern is the more workingclass, more traditional, not as rich side. and so they felt overlooked. Maradona, the soccer player, brought a lot of success and he brought attention to a city that wasn’t receiving a lot of attention. Not only that, he’s from a workingass neighborhood or a workingass family. And a lot of people here are said to be the working class, right? Not the super rich, super wealthy. And and so a lot of people resonated with him. And anyways, you you guys get the gist, okay? famous player, brought a lot of recognition, a lot of success to the city, helped put them on the map, helped them win titles, helped him give something to cheer for and celebrate and find pride in. Not only that, he was from a background similar to the people here, the workingclass background. He wasn’t perfect, and I’m sure there’s some other stuff that I’m probably missing, but you guys get the gist. So, he he he’s revered out here. There are some other I think there are a few other Well, there are many many pictures and murals of them, but that I think I think that’s one of the main ones that we just saw. So, we’re heading back to the main strip. And I’m not going to lie to you guys, I was going to get one of those uh those uh open leg open leg uh lemonades. I think I think I might pass on that, man. I’m not trying to I’m not trying to do all that. Uhoh. We got some music. [Music] Oh, they got karaoke here. Okay. I don’t want to get copyrighted. Let me get through here. Ciao. Hey. Hey. All right. I don’t want to get copyrighted. [Music] Uh, let’s walk this way. We’ll walk straight this way. So, I’m sure Naples has some historic monuments, some sites, but as you guys tell, I mean, the life is on the streets, man. You just walk around, eat delicious food. The people here seem uh very uh very open, sociable. Thing is, I don’t speak Italian, you know? So like uh as you guys saw earlier in the video, I tried to ask you know one guy about you know the clothing lines and uh I don’t think he understood me but he tried but he he explained some stuff but but yeah it’s uh you know so but very vibrant. You have everyone out. You have the elderly out. You know, she’s out there still making it. Still still moving, eating the pizza. Number one thing to do in Naples. So, there are a ton of a ton of side streets we could walk on, walk through. I mean, you need to spend a lot of time here to really get into the uh nitty-gritty of Naples, but for me, food, atmosphere, and uh yeah, I think that’s about it. Food and atmosphere. Like I said, I’m sure they have monuments and stuff and churches that you can go to, but I think you just come here for the food or one of the main things you should come here for is the food. All right, we you’re going to So, so far I think I would have to say Italy has some of the largest squares, largest plazas in the world. Yeah, these plazas are large. [Music] As you see, there’s zero shade. Zero shade except straight ahead on the steps where people are chilling and relaxing. Do do you sell uh that lemonade uh with the Okay. You want the lemon or you want the lemon cello? A Lemon cello with alcohol. Lemon ice is very very fresh. I’ll take that. Lemon cello. How’s the alcohol? Oh, you want the lemon ice with the lemon cello? Okay, I’ll take that. Yeah. Oh, okay. That’s fine. That’s okay. I’ll take a big one. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Yeah. I’m not going to get the exploding one. Let me get the regular one right here. Yeah, a lot of lemon. They have a place to sit down too in there, but I’m going to keep it simple. Yeah. Sorry, guys. I’m not getting the You You guys saw what it looked like. I’m trying to enjoy myself. So, yeah. Shout out to the store. They saw me sweating, so they gave me uh some cold towels. Yeah. My Monopoly present right here. All right. Camera’s about to die, so let me go ahead and end it right here. And real quick, right behind me, there was a uh two huge cruise ships. So, I’m guessing a lot of uh a lot of the Europeans come to the southern southern Italy for vacation, just like in the US, we head to the Caribbean mainly. Here, they probably head to southern Italy, Mediterranean spots. So, just fun fact. But either way, simple video here in Naples. I came here I I’ve always wanted to come here mainly because of it’s the birthplace of pizza. Pizza as they say and I love pizza. So I said once I got here got to eat it every day which so far plan plan is going as as uh drawn up. But either way I’m about to end the video right now. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Got a long walk back home but I’m going enjoy the view. Oh man, I’m I’m loving the view if you know what I mean. But anyways, I’m going holl at you guys at the next one. I hope you enjoyed the video.

Fun video, thanks!!! I don’t even understand how they built a metro in Naples, considering all of the archeology beneath the streets. They must have dug through a lot of amazing things.
Graffiti on everything 😮
After seeing this video of Naples, I am definitely not visiting. It is extremely crowed and dirty. Yes, there is definitely a difference between the south of Italy compared to central and northern. When you say that the north is more "upperty or boogie" it is because those people actually work and they keep their cities in much better condition. I disagree that Naples is more of a "working class". To the contrary, most people from that region tend to be more "laid back" for lack of a better word. They need to clean up that graffiti filled city and they have the manpower if the government gets involved. They say there are more jobs in the north but if they want to work, there is plenty for them to do right there.
So are you one of them vendors on the side walks now? Selling trinkets and bracelets?? 😅😅
I wish it wasn't right next to a fuckin' volcano lol
Just LOVED Napoli. Was there when they won the Italian cup. It was CRAZY GOOD.
So we are this restaurant and they kept playing : Life is Life…. did not get why………. but I think it was his favourite song……….. Someone told me that they love that guy more than Jesus…………LOL
I am very glad to see a Black man traveling the world. I just saw your video with you scouting the city in Tehran, Iran. The vibe is certainly different than in Naples. But the information is invaluable. Safe travels!!
Diego Maradona. Famous soccer player from Argentina with italian descent.
Wow, this is great. I'm Jamaican and lived 3 years in bella Napoli during the time Maradona played for Napoli when they won the Scudetto (national championship) for the first time ever. Wonderful place. Thing about pizza that America doesn't get is they emphasize the importance of the quality and digestability of the dough. They use special dough and pay special attention to the temperature. These are professionals not a bunch of part time college kids making the pizza.
Their food is so good. I was there in November 2024 food was great and not heavy
I love pizza for real.
JD
Neapolitan citizen here. You sure roamed into some not very appealing streets, with tons of beautiful places in Naples to visit. I wouldn't have planned for you that trip, but Napoli is that too. Did you know that Napoli has about 1000 churches? And they're all very beautiful. Do you know there are places in Napoli where you can see the walls built by the Greeks who founded the town? And there are places where there still are ancient Roman walls and byzantine Churches too. There are castles and beautiful views, like the one from Castel Sant'Elmo. I hope you can stay longer and watch all of that and more. Surely Napoli is a city that embraces you and makes you feel at home. Welcome!
If you worship Maradona more than God don't complain when your families and societie start to crumble all around you.
Playing American music in the pizza store.
The north and south have always been like that The south is where most of the Italians came to America who were very poor and looking for a better life. And Sicily. That's also where most of the Mafia is in the south. Been like this since 1800s, at least, when they were coming to America
Fabulous place the home of Sophia Loren
LOVE Napoli!!!!
Wow what a crazy town (in a nice way) love the street life.
All the graffiti 😮 it's awful
I hear gellato is great in Italy
Bob Marley playing at a Italian pizza joint in Italy is just top-tier as a Jamaican this made me very proud❤❤❤❤
How about some fresh vegetables? Italy has great vegetables – beautiful salads, etc. Our bodies definitely need more than carbs and some protein from cheese. Diego Maradona, by the way… The Argentine of Italian descent.
Gee bro you really love pizza, I do too. I am happy you’re enjoying yourself. Here in Florida where I work in a country club we have Italian h2b workers they telling some of the Italians are racist against black peoples. But personally I don’t give a shit about racist energy you ll get it back from me. So enjoy yourself brother man.
My brother was just out there for his and his daughters birthday. He said it was a dope experience. One of my clients at the barbershop is literally out there now and always talks highly of Naples.
Wow..pizza looks delicious 😋
I live here and this place is hell
creepy city
May I as what camera have you been using.

Its looks like Bangladesh
Diego Maradona is famous around the globe…..not just Naples 🙂
Lol, man I don't blame you at ALL!!! You are absolutely validating my PLAN! 😅
Why am I going to Italy? LARGELY bc I just LOVE Italian food!! And am curious to explore/enjoy/learn from Italian culture!
– FOOD
– CULTURE / PHILOSOPHY (i.e., not rushing as much, community, espresso breaks)
– STYLE (I heard they're hella stylish! W/o even trying)
And bc this was a childhood dream for me. Working on a bday trip RIGHT NOW! 😀 Thank you for this! Loving it + new subscriber! xx
PS – For context, where are you from, originally (if you don't mind sharing)? Just wondering the lens through which you might be experiencing all this. And was this August 2025?
Again, thx for the share! 🔥
Nice video. Napoli is in a strong renaissance after decades of neglect. I like your approach to making the video. A nice tour. Subscribed.
My grandparents were from Salerno, one day I will visit there.
Is Naples the home of the Mafia ?
New here. Just finished watching your video in Iran.
I’d visit Italia for shopping ( clothes, Shoes, Handbags ) I l like quality.
It’s ok to admire feminine beauty. Our creator is a brilliant designer and there are beautiful women in every land.
How do they treat Black people there?
For the best pizza you have to go to a pizzeria, a pizza restaurant and in the evening. Better if you ask locals to suggest you which pizzeria to go.
quel honte vous connaissez pas Maradona le plus grand footballeur du monde même l’ex enfants le connaît ! Attentez de faire des vidéos si vous connaissez pas la personne ! De plus vous dites Madona stop ✋
Your narration is awesome! I love listening to your commentary. Thank you! ☺️
What are you doing there with that pizza? 😂😂Graaabbb ittt with your hands, mamma mia.. 🤦🤦🤦.. Saluti! 👋
As a Caribbean American this place feels like the place where I'd feel more comfortable, love the south of Italy, soon see you guys and get to experience the culture myself.
Where are you in Naples?
Was enjoying the video UNTIL you made a general statement about Black women traveling to Italy may be on “something”, just because you saw a few Black women. How irresponsible. Please stop lumping all Black women/men/ into YOUR experience with 2 or 5. 🙄
