Small but Cute City of Lübeck | Germany | Telugu travel vlog | Lübeck

This is Lübeck, which is in North Germany.
So, if you’re planning any day trip this would be a perfect choice for a day trip.
It’s a small city but a very, very beautiful city And from here, there’s also a beach nearby.
You can take a train there, and in one day you can cover this city in half a day,
and then spend the remaining time at the beach So you can visit the beach and explore it too So, this is from the railway station side This is the main Bahnhof (main train station) in Lübeck.
If you go straight from here you’ll reach the bus stop. So let’s take a look at that bus stop once.
So here, “Job” means bus stop Basically, it’s a bus stop Here’s the bus stop. From here,
if you walk three or four minutes, you’ll enter the city center And here you can see a book in Lübeck So cute. On that side, there’s a circus happening This is the long back entry gate to the city.
In total, the city had four gates like this Currently, only two are left.
We’ll also take a look at another gate The other two were demolished.
There was even a voting process—people were asked whether to keep them or not Most people said, “let’s demolish them,”
so that’s what they decided through the vote. So they ended up demolishing them.
For now, only two remain, and this is one of them. This is actually the main tourist attraction of this city, to be honest.
Back in those days this gate you see here could be lowered down.
They would open it, and like we see in movies it would open, and ships would enter inside.
That’s how they used to come into the city Inside the city And this building here—this is one of the oldest buildings.
It was used a lot for trading Since the beach is nearby, they used to make salt
and store it in this building They used it for trade with people from other countries That’s how it worked Back then, there was no natural river in this city.
The water we see now t was all built by the people of this city.
Artificially created The entire city is filled with canals and waterways.
So beautiful. And boat trips the ticket cost starts from 13.5 Euros.
But since we don’t have that much money we are poor people decided not to take the boat ride. This is the second music option,
which is actually the Music University And here, you can also rent boats.
You can drive them yourself So, they are docked here. You can see.
For one hour, it costs 49 Euros And these are electric boats,
you can pay here with a card There’s a maximum restriction:
only up to six persons allowed Honestly, it would be a really good experience So, I have lived in this city for almost four and a half years,
because I did my Master’s studies here So, I know this city very well, to be honest.
And look at this beautiful building just see how colorful it is Really amazing So these here I thought they were fake grapes,
but no, they are rea Really surprising And look at this though it looks very small from outside,
once you go inside there are many, many houses Back in those days, in the main city center,
the rich people used to live in big houses And these small houses here were for the workers
people who worked in their homes or did other small jobs.
So, history says these small houses belonged to them Not my words but you can see how beautiful they are And these are called “Reihenhaus” (row houses), That’s what they’re known as So here, they used to tie up horses,
after using them, they keep them here That’s how it was done in those days So, I thought o am short. But look at this place
it’s at such a low height So this is the cathedral here in the city.
But at the moment, there’s no tourist entry because a concert is happening.
Otherwise, we would have gone inside But unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.
It’s very beautiful inside really, really nice And this is a church. It offers one of the most beautiful views
in the city You can see the church and the water together.
This is a must-see view when visiting the city Highly recommended
it feels very peaceful So, these are the boats coming—
the same ones we saw earlier. Like this, you can cover the entire city The place actually looks just like Venice in Italy.
It’s very beautiful to see Everyone is here enjoying, and now we’ll go to another side,
where there are pedal boats We can take those pedal boats—two people can sit.
They rent them on an hourly basis They also give you a safety jacket,
just in case, for safety purposes So they provide a safety jacket as well.
Let’s take a look at them now People keep going this way,
and here is another gate. Earlier, I told you there were four gates,
but now only two remain I already showed one first,
and this is the second one So this is the gate from this side.
You can see it from here There are still some more places to cover.
Here, there is an old hospital So right now, we are near that old hospital And currently, it is closed I don’t know why—normally it’s open.
But today it’s closed, maybe because it’s Sunday But if you come here,
you should definitely visit this place too Now, the view I am going to show you
is the best view in this city No matter how many times you see it,
this view is really, really beautiful So, here it is—this view In this city, there are a total of seven towers.
This one is open now Let’s go once and see what’s inside For that also, there’s a small entry ticket—
around seven Euros or something like tha But yes, it’s almost the same for all churches here.
So, here it is It also looks good.
So, this is the Rathaus (Town Hall) In the Rathaus, the mayor of this city has his office.
You can see it here And here as well this view also looks nice from here So, this is it You can see it.
Sometimes they repaint these buildings But they don’t really change much
they keep it almost the same because they want to preserve the authenticity there is also a chocolate store
called “Niederegger,” along with a café It also has its own history
about why it was started Basically, this city used to trade with people
from many different countries They would bring their goods here and sell them,
and the locals would sell theirs in return So, they thought, “Okay, when these traders come here,
we should create something special for them That’s how Lübeck’s marzipan was introduced Even today, whenever anyone comes to Lübeck,
the first thing they try is marzipan Because it’s the city’s specialty.
In this Niederegger store The taste feels a bit different,
but still, when you eat it it’s really, really good.
They don’t have too many flavors by default but nowadays, they’ve introduced a lot of flavors.
There’s even coffee with marzipan So you should definitely try it
whenever you visit Lübeck అన్నమాట రాష్ట్ర మీద దగ్గర అని చెప్పేసి Chocolates Sometimes these chocolates also have special marks on them That’s how it is right we So, look at this beautiful street!
See how nice it looks, with these small houses Inside the city, almost all streets look like this They haven’t really modernized it much,
because this city is a UNESCO Heritage site To preserve its authenticity,
they’ve kept everything as it is no changes are allowed.
The main Altstadt (Old Town) is full of these old buildings They haven’t demolished them, nor modernized them Even though the houses look small or old from outside,
inside they are very, very modern It’s like a completely modern house inside—
only the outside looks old So, that’s the charm of this city.
And then, coming to Clemenstraße here in Lübeck, there is a very small street
with small bars on weekends After 10 pm until late night, it’s full of people
hanging out here And boats are docked nearby—
you can see them here They’ve been docked here since olden days.
So, you can see them even now This is a nice chilling spot near the water,
a good place to relax in the evening You can also see the water here.
This green layer on the surface is algae So, this is the spot where people sit and chill.
This ship here is called “Samsara” And down here, you see that restaurant?
It’s very famous—called “fange frisch’ From here, you can also enjoy a nice view It looks so beautiful Here you can see small ships,
little cruise boats On this side, you see them all lined up,
and again on the other side too You can also see boats here,
and there are many places where boats are docked It all looks really, really nice.
From here, you can also see all the tallest structures in the city There are two, three, four, five towers visible.
And behind them, there is another building that’s the Congress Center.
Many concepts and events are organized there related to the city
