Račišće Croatia 4K Korčula Island Walking Tour 2025
This is a walking tour in Račišće, Croatia. Račišće is located on the island of Korčula. It is a small town located about 12 kms from Korčula Old Town and was known for capable sailors and fisherman’s It is one of the youngest settlements on the Island. The bay was completely uninhabited before becoming the safe haven for refugees from Makarska and neighbouring Herzegovina in the 17th century. As a result, there are alot of old typical Dalmatian houses around the bay.

A prosperous town on a beautiful island. I see some of the infrastructure still needs work (safety railings, concrete steps etc.) but the town has obviously invested already.
