Pollensa Old Town WALKING TOUR Mallorca
[Music] Good morning. Instead of line by the pool today, we thought we’d go to Old Plenca. But because we don’t have a car on this holiday, we do not have a car. No. Um, we are going to try and find a bus. Yes. 5 minute walk away from the hotel apparently. So come join us as we go by bus stops. [Music] Right, we’re after the 322. All right, bus is coming in 4 minutes. [Music] That says plenc [Music] Well, we made it. And how long do you think that journey was? No more than 10 minutes. 10 minutes. 10-minute journey. The size now changed to set you to Alcoolia. When we used to come to Morca with the girls and we stayed in a villa one time, we always used to see this posh looks like a church actually, but from the villa it looked like a big posh house. We always used to say it was Katherine Zita Jones’s house. So now we’re very close to it. And is it? Right. We’ve now arrived in Old Palenca. Let’s have a wander around. [Music] Just gone half past 9. So it’s very quiet this time of the morning. Very peaceful as well. [Music] Oh my goodness. 365 steps. How many? 365. Okay. Wonderful. Every day of the year. Wow. 365 steps, eh in this heat. And it’s probably already in the high 20s. I think I’m going to look a little bit like him by the time I get to the top. So, stepwise, I’m a few weeks in. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and repeat. So far so good. [Music] Look at that view lane. [Music] Yeah, true. [Music] It’s really quite hot. [Music] Not even more by this strenuous climb. [Music] We’ll make it to the top. [Music] [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] So, Alcudi’s over there and to the left is Port Palenca. And now the return journey. [Music] Nice. Is it the statue? I did it. Don’t bother bringing out on holiday. You can buy one. So, there’s plenty of places to relax, have something to eat or drink. [Music] Right, [Music] let’s have a look at the museum of Palenca. Palenca Museum. Need to take some more stairs. [Music] Jump in there one more time. [Music] [Music] I’m sure I’ve seen this in a movie. [Music] Back on the bus, we were soon heading back to our hotel. Thanks for watching and remember, we have more vlogs of our time in Palencia. Bye for now. [Music]

Argh those steps! Good job you’ve got your walkers’ legs.
Ahhh, I remember those steps. They are many, but luckily not so high each of them so it was manageable for us at the time in 2023 😊 Great views at the top, and we shared a lovely plate of cheese and charcuterie at the restaurant at the bottom of the stairs afterwards. The one at the right hand side with the square parasoles 😊 Thank you for showing more of the old city. It is beautiful 😊 Torunn 🥰
great to see places we never knew existed on your walk Simon
thumbs up👍Au💯full view always😎have a great day🦘
Gorgeous and such a charming place! Small narrow streets are just phenomenal!
loved the tour of the town, now which was harder going up the stairs or coming back down (up might be tiring but down is hard on the knees)

365 steps, Simon? No bother for you, fell walking pair. I enjoyed that – mellow as with your characteristic dry humour. All the best. Mark
