Tarifa Southern Spain Ep2 #travel #travelvlog #trending #spain #walkingtour #walk

Just second video of my Tarifa visit in the uh southern coast of Spain. I’ll just show you where it is again in case people didn’t watch the first video. It’s here at the most southern point of Spain. Um overlooking Morocco, not too far from Gibralta. Uh yeah, lovely little place as we see in the first video. Just some more uh businesses here. Maybe I think there’s a hotel in there. of the church and a few other various sites from around Tarifa. Um, well worth a visit if uh anybody fancies a holiday to a nice little Spanish town with a lot of history. It’s also got a new area as well, but it’s well within the reach of going to Gibralar or Roman ruins or Cadets. Uh, Sevilla Malaga is not that far away. You see on the top right I flew from Malaga flew into Malaga and it was a 2-hour drive down to um Tarifa. What a lovely little place and a few more sites. It’s the hedge statue of Tarifa decapitated. Little Spanish move here. You don’t get run over by a Spanish bastard. Spanish electrical phone work here. Just outside the Guardia Seville headquarters here. Going to report on Mr. Duncan Smith for uh saying they’re corrupt persistently. We’re on to him. We’re on to him. fish. [Music] Nice little uh Spanish cafe here. Um got my breakfast here most mornings a bacon sandwich. Uh most of the Spanish were eating um tomato like a tomato paste on toast with a bit of oregano was the uh order of the day. [Music] No, no, no fish for me. Just a little market here. A lot of the locals uh in the town shop at bit cheaper maybe and uh sells various things, fish, clothes and a lot of other things to be honest. Just sort of hidden away in the old uh village. Yeah, nice little market. [Music] [Music] [Music] A lovely pizza restaurant. He had two pizzas from sat in him once and got one takeaway. Absolutely beautiful. And goes the Tarifa. Well worth a visit to this restaurant. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Uh this is the second church in the old uh town. I’ll go into the uh the main church in a moment. This is the sort of second church. Um I’m not sure if it’s different faiths. or something to be honest. Or they have two uh still nice grand nice church but not quite as big and grand as the uh the second one I’m going in in a moment. [Music] [Music] Wow. Wow. Lovely little church. Well, not so little church here. It’s in the center of the old town. And there’s two churches. This is the uh the main one. There’s also a church connected to the uh the castle. Not sure if that’s in use as a church, but yeah, this is the main church of the town. Uh lovely, massive. You wonder how they built such things in the old days like such such grand building. um lovely sort of um well what the word is uh ornaments or just displays of uh Jesus and Mary in various areas around the church. When I walked into the church, there was an old man sat there um and he I walked him with the camera and said, “Wow.” And uh he gave us a funny look and I’m not sure if uh he he gestured to me to someone in Spanish. Obviously I didn’t know what he meant. And uh I didn’t know if he meant take my cap off, shut up or stop filming. So I wasn’t quite sure what what I was told to do there by someone in Spanish. So I just stopped filming for like 5 seconds and then started filming again. So I didn’t really listen to what he said. I’m not quite sure what he said. Someone in Spanish. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Fiesta [Music] [Music] How about that? [Music] Come up. Here’s a restaurant. Uh, Bruce Willis. Bruce Willis was famously cited at here in Intera. This is the restaurant. Bruce Willis of Hollywood fame. Die Hard, Armageddon, you name it. [Music] Hello. This is one of the newest streets in Tarifa. It’s sort of you come in one way. It’s uh more a modern area to be honest. the soft couple of modern streets with uh shops on as well. the the banks mainly for the start of the uh street there. those the banks hand is being built and uh various other banks in the town on this um sort of main street down the bottom of this streets Burger King and there’s a lot of surf shops for the uh the young surfer community that comes to the area and yeah just um a bit more of a modern modern area really of Tarifa u various businesses of all kinds to be honest down there as I say Burger King and surf shops down the bottom on banks up the top, but in between there’s all all manner of businesses, takeaways, uh supermarkets, you name it. And um yeah, just again uh and [Music] is the local statue of Tarifa. [Music] This is the uh local statue of Tarifa of uh Alfredo De Guzman I believe was his name. His castle’s just to to the left there. I go to the castle in another video. And um yeah, this is the statue the man who um he sacrificed his child to the Muslims um to save the town and a statue obviously is here for him sacrifice and they still celebrate the man today for sacrificing his child to save the town many moons ago. [Music] [Music] This is a lovely hotel. I um I didn’t stay here. I just popped in on the way past. Basically, it’s a maybe a mile or two up the Golden Beach from Tarifa. Uh it’s right on the beach as you can see when I walk down to the uh front there. And uh yeah, just lovely little hotel. Not dead expensive, but a bit more expensive in the summer. It’s called the uh Hurricane Hurricane Hotel, I believe. Um yeah, just really nice hotel. There are heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Just a few more sites there and a couple of businesses, hotels um from Tarifa around Tarifa in southern Spain. Uh I went to the castle of the Guzman and some Roman ruins and Gibrala as well. I’ll make them in another video. But uh yeah, just a bit more of Tarifa. Peace.

  1. Ha, the headless statue and the dodgy spanish ways of wiring. 😂
That's the best pizza place in town where you had the pizza and later filmed it. 🍕💯
Our church is quite massive and usually quite buisy too. A lot of folk complain because the bells are so loud in the old town but we'll keep ringing them nevertheless 🔔🔔
Nice report on the old town, really appreciate that.❣️ 💯👍🏼
