two chapels: one dedicated to Saint John and the other to Panagia Sarantaskaliotissa. To reach 
the cave, you need to follow a short but steep trail. From the cave, you can enjoy impressive 
views of the surrounding valley and the sea. Number 3: Evangelistria 
Monastery (Moni Evangelistria) Situated on the southern slopes of Mount Kerkis, 
Evangelistria Monastery is a 10th-century site originally established by ascetic monks. Over the 
years, it transformed into a convent for nuns, a role it held until 2007. You can hike up 
to the monastery to admire its exterior, but the doors are generally closed 
except for two days each year. Number 2: Potami Waterfalls The Potami Waterfalls are well-known natural 
waterfalls that form two small, scenic pools ideal for swimming. This spot is popular with both Greek 
and international visitors. The first waterfall is easy to reach, but getting to the larger one 
can be more difficult. To see all the waterfalls, you’ll need to cross the river, so water shoes
