5 Cheap Europe Destination To Visit
Got a small budget but dream of
exploring Europe. Then come with me. With only €300 in my pocket, I’ve
had some of my best trips ever. I’m taking you through 5 countries where you can
have an amazing time without breaking the bank. Italy, Greece, Spain, England, and France. In this video, I’ll share all my tips and
tricks to make the most of everything these countries have to offer. local food,
cultural life, beaches and mountains, charming villages, museums, absolutely everything. So without further ado, let’s dive into the video. Sicily has become one of the most unmissable
travel destination in recent years. Popularized by the Godfather films or
recently by the series The White Lotus, it ranks among the cheapest
regions to travel to in Europe. Located at the southern tip
of Italy, Sicily has it all. Breathtaking natural wonders like Mount
Etna, the most active volcano in Europe, vibrant cities such as Palermo and beaches
that could easily rival the Caribbean. The island is served by two international
airports, Palermo and Catania. Once there, most hotels are run by locals, which makes prices much more affordable.
In Palermo, where I traveled in July, I paid just €30 a night per person for
accommodation in the heart of the city. Palermo is not only the capital of Sicily,
but also the capital of street food. Renowned worthwhile for its cuisine, it
offers plenty of delicious meals on the go. Arancini are deep fried rice balls with
tasty fillings are one of Sicily most famous specialties. They cost around €3 each and one is
basically enough to fill you up. At restaurants, expect to pay around €12 for a main dish.
And everywhere you go, an espresso is just €1. Sicily is truly a destination where food and
drinks are affordable everywhere. During my trip, I visited several destinations, including
Palmo, Chefu, and Tormina. For transportation, I chose the train, the most budget friendly and
comfortable way to travel around the island. For example, the trip from Palmo to Tarina cost
me €23. Getting around within the city is also cheap. In Palmo, a bus ticket cost €1.30. Since my
accommodation was in the very heart of the city, I mostly got around on food. One highlight of
my stay was enjoying a private beach in Mandelo, a beach nearby Palmo. I paid €8 for an afternoon
pass. If you’re visiting Palmo, you’ll also find plenty of monuments to explore. Many of them are
religious buildings that are free to enter. At the massimo in Polmo, I attended a performance for
just €20. That is insane. And in one of the most wellconserved and beautiful theater of all Europe.
I highly recommend it. Sicily offers countless day trips most under 50 euros. From deep excursions
to Mount Edna to visiting the valley of temples or taking a boat trip to admire Stromboli, Sicily
is a multifaceted destination that will never fail to surprise you. During my trip, it was a
true pleasure to taste so many local specialties without breaking the bank. It’s an island that
I’ll definitely be returning in the years to come. Located on the west coast of Greece, Corfu
is the country’s largest island. Between sea and mountains, Corfu’s beauty is absolutely
breathtaking. The island boasts paradise-like beaches with crystal clearar waters, delicious
cuisine recognized worthwhile, and a charming old town. And yet it’s one of the cheapest
destinations in Europe. Several lowcost airline fly directly to Corfu International Airport. Once
there, you’ll find plenty of accommodation options from budget friendly to luxury hotels. I traveled
to Corfu in May and it only cost me €24 per night per person to stay in huddle just 15 minutes
from the city with a stunning view on the Yoyan Sea. The cost of living on the island is very
affordable. Eating out in a restaurant will set you back less than€ 10 for a men dish. One of my
personal favorite spots serves a delicious sublaki with homemade fries and Peter bread for just
€9.80. If you’re in the mood for a quick bite, many street food stands offer euros for under €5.
You can even treat yourself with an ice cream from one of the best gelato shops in the world for
€2.50. Getting around is also budget friendly. You can rent a car for €30 a day, but if you
don’t want to drive or prefer public transport, a bus tickets cost only €120. As for activities,
you don’t need to spend much to have a great time. Corfu offers countless spots to enjoy
the outdoors. From endless fine sand beaches with crystal clear waters to hidden coes, many
companies offer day cruises to explore remote bays. During my trip, I booked a boat tour to
discover Paxus and Auntie Paxus for €45. You can even take a day trip to Albania for under €50.
And if you love hiking, Corfu has plenty of trail ranging from easy walks to challenging routes.
Corfu is a fantastic holiday destination on a budget. Whether you want to enjoy the sea and
mountains, experience the night life, or taste one of the most beloved cuisines, you won’t
be disappointed, Corfu is the perfect choice. Tener is the most visited island in the Canary
Islands. Located off the coast of Africa, it’s nicknamed the island of eternal spring
thanks to its pleasant climate all year round. One of Tenerifa’s biggest advantage
is that it welcomes visitors in any seasons. Whether you want to escape bad weather in
winter or the stiffling heat in summer, it’s the perfect destination. I visited in May
2023 and absolutely loved my trip. The island offered travelers plenty of unique experiences.
I hiked on a volcano, spotted whales up close, and visited the best water park in the world,
all on a limited budget. Tenneref South Airport serves international flights. Since the
island enjoys great weather all year, you can plan your trip around the best flight
deals you find. That’s exactly what I did for my trip. I stayed at Kuran Naria Beach with a
group of four. We booked a two-bedroom apartment for under €400 for the whole week. Tenerife
has a wide range of hotels and Airbnbs. So, with a bit of research, you can find the best
option for your budget. Eating out in a restaurant cost around €50 per meal on average, though
it depends on the type of restaurant you are going to go for. Coming from France, I found
the prices more affordable here. For example, in my favorite restaurant in Tener, El Calder
de Labo, here’s what I paid during my 2023 trip. During our stay, we rented a car. In 2024, the
average rental price is €24 per day. You can also get around using public transport. A bus
ticket cost around €1.50. Tenerife is a very popular seaside destination, meaning you can enjoy
stunning beaches without spending a scent. It’s also a paradise for hikers, especially those who
want to climb Mount Ted to watch the sunset or the sunrise. During my trip, I visited Samak, a water
park named the best in the world eight times in a row. I had so much fun there with my friends. It
totally lives up to the hype. Untried tickets cost €44 and food inside the park is reasonably priced.
I also took a boat excursion to see dolphins and whales. You can find this for as little as €15 per
person on Get Your Guide. One of the best thing about Tenerife is that you can have an amazing
week without paying for any activities at all. One of the island’s most popular activities
is stargazing. And trust me, it’s magical. You probably wouldn’t expect it, but London
can actually be a budget friendly destination. London is definitely one of my favorite
cities. This vibrant, modern, cosmopolitan, global hub is actually a place you can visit
without breaking the bank. Living in Paris, London is just 2 hours away by train. So, I’ve
been there several times, and each time I’ve really been able to enjoy the city on budget.
If you love places with the rich cultural life, London is perfect. With its museums filled with
treasures, year-round theater performances, and street shows, there’s never a dull
moment. London is served by not one, not two, but six international airports. Depending on where
you’re traveling from, you can also get there by Euro Star train or even by bus. By comparing the
different options, you’re bound to find a good deal. Accommodation works the same way. There’s
an endless range of choices, so you’ll easily find something that fits your budget. For my next
trip, I’m probably going to book a capsule hotel. If you’re not claustrophobic, you can stay there
for just £30 a night. Unless you really want to, don’t give in to booking a fancy hotel for your
stay. You’ll barely stay anytime inside. London is a city you want to enjoy outdoors. When it comes
to food, restaurants aren’t always the cheapest, especially when you add service charges. For
example, this fish and chips cost me £19. But again, with many options, you can definitely find
budget friendly meals. I loved going to M ands supermarkets on my last trip. I was amazed by the
huge variety of sandwiches they had with something for absolutely every taste. To get around London,
I use the Oster card, a rechargeable travel card you can top up with any amount you want and then
use on buses and the tube. The best part is it has a daily cap, which means that once you
reach it, you don’t pay anymore for the rest of the day. One of the best thing about London
is that most museums are free. It’s amazing to be able to go from one museum to another without
spending a penny. Whether it’s the British Museum, the National Gallery, or the Natural History
Museum, you can access the permanent collections at no cost. On my last trip, I also visited the
Sky Garden, one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, and it didn’t cost me a thing. You just
need to book a ticket before your trip. I even managed to get in without ticket by simply showing
up and waiting a few minutes. London also has so many beautiful parks. Make sure you don’t miss
them. Against all expectations, London really can be a budget friendly destination. And I
know I’ll keep going back again and again. Yes, I did say the French Riviera, one of the most
glamorous places in the world. But believe me, you can absolutely enjoy this slice of paradise
on a budget. Of course, you have to adapt. If you want to go to Nice, Sanrope or Gen, you’ll
need to set aside a bigger budget. But some towns like Fuse Bimosa or Mountain offer more affordable
options. These destinations are also less crowded and therefore more peaceful. To visit the Kazour,
you can fly directly to Nice airport or arrive to Marles and then take a train or a bus to your
destination. One of the biggest advantage of the Kotazu is that it’s very well connected by
regional trains. For example, if you stay in Frius, you can easily take day trips to explore
the rest of the coast by train. That’s what I did during my trip. I went to Nropi Sanjira and even
Monaco for accommodation. has many apart hotels and campgrounds to get around the kir regional
trains are the best options. For instance, a train ticket from pre to can cost about €9. For food,
I recommend focusing on the markets. Following the Mediterranean tradition, markets play an
important role on the Kesu. There you can not only mingle with the locals and enjoy a timeless
moment, but also eat specialties at low prices for a 100% authentic experience. Buy products at the
market and have a picnic on the beach. In the end, it will be unrealistic to say that the kajir is
one of the cheapest places in Europe. In fact, depending on the exact location, it might be
the opposite. But it will be a shame to miss out on such a beautiful region. So by being
a little clever and making some compromises, you can have an amazing trip in the south of
France. That’s what I did and I’m sure you can do it, too. Well, well, that’s it for the video.
I hope you enjoyed it and find it helpful in any way. Don’t forget to like the video, comment, and
