On behalf of Dom and Alina, I want to welcome and it is a my great honor to welcome to welcome everybody here on this amazing day with this amazing couple. [Music] How did this majestic creature of a woman come into our lives? Well, we were on holiday in August of 22 with loads of friends and there were family there too. My family, future in-laws. There was a whole bunch of us there and we managed to convince Dom to fly out for the second week and spend some time with us. [Music] I could see that something up straight away though. Dom had this koi lock and it was a glint like buying a new Maserati. We were both about that. It was something exciting. I knew then something had completely changed and I was like, “Are you going to tell me what’s going on or what’s up?” And that’s when he said he’d met someone. From the very first moment I saw you, something shifted in me. I tra your smile, your confident. Hearing those beautiful Ukrainian tones and yes, all that Lyra completely knocked me sideways. No, but seriously, more than that, there was something in your presence that made me feel I finally come home. [Music] I saw yoga classes and thought, why not? That’s what I did. Anyway, went to the yoga class and she absolutely loved it and um from that moment it just took off. Yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer um you know she just a business built up and up and she’s um so traal. I’m so proud of that. I stand here in front of you knowing that. What a mess. Can anyone joke some inappropriate thing or something like that? Right. [Music] So this is where she met Don really because um he she needed more premises to uh expand my yoga classes and Dom had his place at his um his center coffee center and um he was telling me I’ve got to have some meetings about a new plan. Um but this this kept going on for weeks and I kept saying well why is this going on? you you uh you know you we you should have sorted this out by now. There’s only one room you’re hiring. And I said, “Is he good-looking or something?” He said, “Oh, yeah. I stand here in front of you knowing that meeting you exactly 3 years ago wasn’t a coincidence. You mean more to me than you can ever comprehend. You have been not just a part but a big source of my healing journey. Reaching you exactly 3 years ago was magical. The connection that I had with you in such a deep level was undeniable and beautiful. It didn’t take long before I realized I’d met someone very rest and beautiful. You understood me, not for the version of me I thought I had to be, but the real unfiltered me. You saw past what you thought you knew, and you stuck around to experience the real dawn. [Music] I began falling in love with you. a lot quicker than I thought was humanly possible. Not just because of the big things, your heart, your strength, your kindness, because of the small things. The way your eyes light up when you’re proud, the comfort in your hand when you’re in mine, and the way you bring warmth and energy into any room you walk into. [Music] The astute amongst you will know that I’m not a vicar. However, we are a community of friends and family and we’re here together for this special special moment. [Music] [Music] The Portuguese have a saying. Show me who you walk with and I’ll show you who you are. You two have chosen to walk together and we are who you are. We are your community of friends and family here today for you. [Music] She’s the kind of person that brings the energy, kindness, and a bit of joyful chaos wherever she goes. and it takes someone incredibly special to be able to match that. And Dom, you do it absolutely effortlessly and it’s gorgeous to see. Um, I’m really excited to see the next steps of your guys’ journey together and it’s been an absolutely amazing, stunning start and I think we could all just feel so fortunate to be here [Music] and I’m really happy to see her uh that she found such a beautiful soul to care about her to cherish her and to be next to her and to support her to become the woman that she always felt like she needs to be. We’re really grateful to be with here with you guys and we’re really fortunate to call you as friends and we look forward to many more moments like this in the future that we’re going to spend together. I just wanted to say that you have a quiet love. I mean you don’t have to brag or show off to everyone that you love each other because as soon as you see you too uh you can feel it with all of your heart. And I think when I look at you and your relationship and the way you grow together, the way you appreciate each other is like, isn’t it what the life is for you, Alina, and you Dominic, now you have fun play together and good luck to you in new life, in new wife, new husband. I love you. Happy marriage. Yay. [Music] Mom and dad couldn’t be here 4 years. childish mom and dad. To Dominic and Lena, may your love for each other grow stronger with each passing day. Face life’s challenges together. Remember, be patient with each other. Listen, forgive and most importantly, never stop making each other laugh. May your journey together be filled with love and beautiful moments. This is also a very special moment for us. It is our 55th wedding anniversary today. With love to you both, mom and dad. [Music] I love so many things about you. How thoughtful, non-judgmental, kind, honest, and open you are. I love the fact that you have no idea how bloody handsome you are. I love the little things, thoughtful things that you do for me. When you’re going away for a day or two, you leave a beautiful note on the table saying how much you’re going to miss me, how much you love me. It’s a random text messages from you on a daily basis, I love you or I miss you. That brings so much happiness into my heart. It’s not notes in a frosty car saying sexy bum. That bring a smile on my face. 3 years later to now we here we are in France, a special place surrounded by a family and the people still mean the most to us. And there’s no place I’d rather be. No one I’d rather stand beside. No future I’d rather build than the one with you. I vow to be your partner you deserve. Not just in the big moments, but in the small, quiet ones, too. But what I and my family love about you and my art is the love and the kindness that you show my daughter that the love that everyone should experience in their lifetime at some point. Dominic has that now and he knows that he has this love. He is a different person in so many ways. [Music] I really want to thank my brother. I’m not going to go there. I love him to bits. We’ve gone through a lots of things together. Um, but we’re strong. We love each other. We love each other as a as as a family unit and we stick together and that’s what it’s all about. And I think, you know, I’m so proud of what he’s created as a family. Um, and for me, my brother is the role model. [Music] And I, if I could have a family like what he’s created with Emma, I’d be very happy, man. [Applause] So, I pronounce you husband and wife and off you go. Get on with it. [Applause] Shield. [Music] [Music] Thank you for letting me be me. And thank you. Thank you for being you. And thank you for saying yes. Not just today, but to every tomorrow we get to share together. I love you more than words could ever say, but I promise to spend my life trying to show you. [Music] I promise to eat all your food that you will be cooking for me on a daily basis cuz you’re not too bad at it. promise you a life full of adventures, love, growth, support, and unforgettable memories. Guess what, my darling? You’re not just a dust. You are my world. And you’re not coming from fish. You were given to me by some greater powers. Darling, I’m so lucky to be your wife. I will cherish you with all my heart because you deserve nothing else and I love you. Guys, I wish you all of the happiness in the world. Um, cherish each other, be together, forgive each other, and um, I I love this woman from the bottom of my heart. And I’m so happy that she has finally met a man that sees her for everything that she is and appreciates her for everything that she is. And yeah, so we we’ve been waiting for this for a long time.
