A Morning Walk Around Kato Paphos – Look At That Ship Rock!
[Music] Hi, this is Dominic from Puffos Life and I’m just looking at the Jolly Roger. I’m guessing rocking backwards and forth like that, if you can see that from this range is part of the show, but if you weren’t aware of it, it can look quite alarming. Anyway, I’m at the seafront just outside Tifa 2, watching a bit of the sea mist coming. And I’m actually going to walk up towards uh Zidus Avenue water feature I think this morning and go down the seafront because uh I’ve covered that fairly extensively recently what with the cataclysm loss festival which is now all cleaned up and looking and span. So, we’ll walk up to uh the water feature and we’ll come back down via bar street and head towards uh South Island Resort because I’ve parked my car near there. I’ve already been filming today around uh from King Jason Hotel and this is the sequel, so to speak. Basically, I’m filming now because I need to get back to the car anyway. So, might as well make the most of the opportunity. So, I’m a bit warm now, though. It’s about 9:45. There’s Sugar Bella Confectionary. Quite fancy ice cream to be honest. We can admire the plush foliage in the flower pots. I can’t really call them flower pots, plant pots. I got an itchy neck. I just realized I didn’t do any merchandise or marketing in the last film. That’s terrible. So, if you like our film, please do subscribe to our YouTube channel and share them far and wide. Leave comments and click any notification bell you see and send links to your friends. There’s a mysterious sign here. Oh, bus stop is temporarily out of order. Not that mysterious then really. [Music] Mario’s Diamond. There’s the Imperial Chinese over there. Very popular. It’s very nice at night as well. I appreciate it’s probably a bit loud at the moment of all the traffic, but when we get to the water feature, we’ll be able to come off Poseidon Avenue and it’ll be a lot quieter. Bit of shade here. I’ll take advantage of. Oh, no music. Might get copyright strike. I try and talk over. You got the Hotel Annabelle on the right just over there. I’ve already said that, but I’m trying to block out the music. I’ve been quite lucky with that recently. Whether YouTube has caught an E on to uh the fact that I’m not trying to play illegal music, I don’t know. But anyway, I don’t want to temp fate. Lots of breakfasts out here from €570. A vegetarian breakfast. That’s what you class as vegetarian really, isn’t it? I’ve never understood why eggs aren’t classed as meat like some vegetarians, but that’s not really my issue. The sea mist is rolling in, but that will burn up in the next hour or two. It’s been happening every morning recently. It’s just a fact with the humidity levels and the summer heat that we now got in Pathos. Oh, the fountains are on at the water feature. It’s nice to see. So, have a proper walk around there and walk up to the kegen barrel and go down bar street. Yes, there was over with the marketing. If you want to help us out financially, go to our buy me a coffee page at buy me a coffee.com/pathoslife and chuck us a few coffees. All coffees are very gratefully received. I can assure you. There you go. You can send you into buy now. Good. You I don’t need the L though. I do like this water feature. It’s very nice. There’s TNJ’s fish and chip shop over there. They don’t open till 2 uh p.m. which is a shame. Not that I want fish and chips now, but it’d be nice to have a lunch there one day. There’s Ke as I said. Now we’ll go down bar street. Now the very first bit of barley I here there is stuff and then you got a gap where I used to go urban exploring and I did it recently again for the bowling alley I suppose then you get the roundabout and after the roundabout it’s all up and running again there are a couple of places in between here and there though one of them is the Kulsa one and Eevee’s simple cafe. I’m sure she’s got another cafe up uh close to the low hotel unless she’s moved down here. Oh, two cats seemingly fighting. It looks a bit playful for a fight. Oh, me. Oh, another cat. So, there’s culter not yet open. Go over here and have a look. Now, you might think, why don’t they just knock all these down? But, uh, there are people living in the flats above, so that’s a good reason. But there’s some serious renovation work needs to be going on there. And there’s the bowling alley. And having bead in there now, I now know that uh Vibes Club, if indeed that’s still open, has nothing to do with all that stuff in the first floor window. That’s all to do with the bowling alley, which is a lot bigger than I originally thought. Feeling the heat now. Looks like the door I walked through is being shut again now. Anyway, so the bowling alley is once more out of commission. At least I can say I was there though for what that’s worth. And that, believe it or not, is the Mara and Mi Bar. I haven’t got any signs up. They’ve been open for a few months now. [Music] I mean, no tourism has got a nice big sign. It’s never open, but it’s got a nice big sign. Bubbles is open. Though, it’s unfair to like film these during the day like this and then say, “Yeah, it’s really quiet here. No one’s around.” because uh he’s I mean if you can see on the uh cataclysmos uh pictures taken with the seaf webcam the place it was lively down there like half 11 midnight so you got no chance of action here at the moment at this time of day all you’ll see is people cleaning which is fair enough there’s boogies on the left and flare on the right. Both open all year round and both with nice big signs so you know exactly where they are and what they do. Flair’s pub dance. Now I’ve got to work out what route I’m going to take. So I don’t want to go exactly the same route I did in yesterday’s film for obvious reasons. So I do need to get to near Sophia. Let’s have a quick look at this lovely uh church grounds here or chapel grounds. Very pretty indeed. Really nice little oasis. Oh, and back to the marketing. I’m very professional with that at the moment. Uh, we have a merchandise shop at zazzle.co.uk. Zazzle.co.uk/stores/pathoslive/colction. I think it’s stall/puffos life/colction. I’ll stick the link up anyway, so you’ll be able to see it in black and white. And finally, uh, to get notified on any new bit of content we put out, you should check our Facebook page, Pathos Life. Follow that. We’ve got over 80,000 followers, so you won’t be alone. And uh anytime we publish new content be it on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or our main PAOS life website because we normally stick about seven or eight blog articles a month up there as well. Uh but we stick a link uh to it on the Pathos Live Facebook page. So here’s the Baywatch, but we’re going to go straight across here. In the previous film, Jason St. Jason Hotel, we came down that road, but we’re going straight across. I’m going to walk up to a little Turkish bath and film that and call it a day. Now, as I pointed out in the other film, they’ve got scaffolding up here now. So, looks like that building’s next in line to be renovated. [Music] Slowly but surely, the whole of Pathos is changing to a new modern version. Here’s a nice little I call it a square. But uh anyway, outside Sophie, there’s a taxi bank there. You often see uh taxi drivers waiting for a fair playing fat gum or recipient variant of it. But jackarandanda trees seem to have lost their purple flowers just about. It’s a shame, but it’s all part of the natural cycle, isn’t it? Oh, here are a couple of smaller bins which relate to a thing I was talking about in the previous film. See, that one’s just for paper. Oh, h there’s Sophiana and a nice fountain in your bar over there. Obviously shut at the moment. [Applause] a tiny little chapel here. I could poke my nose in, but it’s not really an indoor camera what I’m using. I’ll stick my head in just to see. So, forgive me if it’s a bit dark all of a sudden. It’s a tiny little chapel. I won’t dwell in here. My head on the way out. Now I’m going up this way to the entrance of the Sophia or one of them. kiosk there. Teleards. That’s a tele. Now, further down this road, you’ll find Fabrica Hill. It’s not the best way to access it from here, though. you really want to go either on the uh pathos walkway or uh from St. Paul’s Pillow End. But I’m not going that far anyway. I’m just going to have a quick view of these Ottoman baths. I’ll call it a day cuz I think I’ve warmed up enough. Somewhere around there might be a little information sign. It’s definitely warm now. That way is where the outdoor theater is though. Oh, there is a sign here. I just have to walk around here for it. See what the sign says. See if you can get in it as well. You might be able to. No, there’s a big padlock on the door. Baths, medieval Ottoman period. So, there you have it. I’ll get the sign in as well. Anyway, as a walk around Cathopos, hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching. Cheers. [Music]
We start today’s film by Tea For Two, with a somewhat puzzled look at the Jolly Roger Tour Boat. They appear to have a device that makes it sway from side to side. From a distance it looks quite scary and I imagine it must be quite hair-raising if you are on board! From there we head up Poseidonos Avenue to the Water Feature, before walking the length of Bar Street to the Sofianna Resort. We finish with a look at an Ottoman Bath.

Love your videos. Would you be able to more of a walking tour of Mesa Chorio? I used to live there over 10 years ago in the Eliza complex and would love to see what that looks like now.
