Gorgeous historic cities, colorful coastal towns, stunning mountain peaks, Italy has it all. There are countless incredible places to explore in Italy, but that would take a lifetime. So, here’s a list of the 10 best places to visit while you’re there. Number 10, Lake Garda. We start things off in northern Italy with the largest lake in the entire country, Lake Garda. Contained by the beautiful mountain peaks of the Italian Alps, this lake is also home to gorgeous villages and towns that dot the shoreline. Our personal favorite is Sirion with its magnificent medieval fortress surrounded by the picturesque waters of Lake Garda. Visitors here can choose from a wide range of activities from serene boat tours to wind surfing out on the lake. Number nine, Florence. Located in the heart of Tuskanyany, this stunning city is the birthplace of the Renaissance, and it still shows to this day. Timelessly elegant architecture is present all over the city, never failing to leave visitors in awe. The highlight of the city is without a doubt Santa Maria del Fior. We now come to the eastern shore of Sardinia, where we find the crystalclear turquoise waters of the Bonai coast. This stunning coastline features hidden caves carved into the sheer limestone cliffs and countless hiking trails that offer breathtaking views of the outstretching Mediterranean below. Being one of the more remote locations on this list, we’d recommend you rent a boat to truly experience the wonder of this incredible location. [Music] Number seven, the Dolommites. Home to vast jagged peaks, tranquil alpine lakes, and gorgeous sweeping meadows. The world doesn’t get much prettier than here in the Dolommites. With 18 peaks that rise over 10,000 ft tall, there is no denying the colossal nature of these summits. And their unique jagged look ensures they are renowned all over the world. Every year, tourists pour into the Dolommites for the chance to explore all the incredible hiking and mountain bike trails and to relax in cozy mountain huts with some of the most stunning mountain views seen anywhere on Earth.
