I Can’t Believe this is Paris 🇫🇷 (Threatened & Bullied) 🤬

Wherever I look, it seems like the whole city is full of immigrants. I was just showing you the region… Oh man, people are shouting so much here. Okay, okay, okay. No, me. Me. I never thought that after coming to Europe, after coming to the capital of a country, I would feel like this. There was a lot of announcement in the train, in English and French. “Beware of pickpocketers, beware of pickpockets.” They are standing on the road, sitting on the road, selling goods, shouting, doing anything. It feels like there is no law and order. Feels like we are in an uncivilized place a long time ago. They are selling all the goods here. Man, such a scary feel, to be honest, I don’t feel in West Africa as much as I feel here. I literally feel like they will kill me. Hey guys, welcome back to the new vlog. My name is Tourvashu. And in the previous series, you saw that I traveled to Japan. Then in the last video of Japan, I came back to India from Japan. And now we are leaving for our next trip. It’s 9.30 in the morning. My flight is at 10.30 after an hour. Western European country for France. Which is the most visited country in the world. So I have checked in for the flight. I have got the boarding pass for the flight. Security, migration, everything is done. Now we are walking towards the boarding gate. My airline to France is Qatar Airways. And I am going to travel in Qatar Airways for the first time. So now I am at Indira Gandhi International Airport. My first flight is from New Delhi to Doha Qatar. It’s a 4-hour flight. Then I have a layover of a few hours in Doha Qatar. Then after that, it’s a 6.5-hour flight from Doha Qatar to the capital and largest city of France, Paris. So the flight time is around 6.5 hours. And my layover in Doha Qatar is different. So France comes under the Schengen zone. So I have taken a Schengen visa. With this, I can go to many European countries along with France. Overall, this is my third Schengen visa. And I have got a one-year Schengen visa. So for the next one year, I can go anywhere in Schengen. I think 90 days stay is written. So guys, the boarding of the first flight has started. From New Delhi to Doha Qatar. So right now, my upcoming travel plans are like this. I had posted the last Q&A video. So if you haven’t seen my first Q&A video, you can watch it. So I will tell you a summary type. Right now, I am going to travel to Europe in a very short time. Not more than 3-4 countries. So I think 3-4-5 videos from Europe will come. Then after that, we will go to another continent. For which I have gone on this trip. To go to another continent, I am mainly doing this trip. For which I am very excited. I am in Europe for a few days. Some countries. Like, some videos will come. Then the next series will start after Europe. There are some countries where I have never been. I am going to cover all those countries after Europe Schengen. So guys, I have reached New Delhi after 4 hours of flying from India. Qatar’s capital Doha. Right now, I am at Doha’s Hamad International Airport. Here is my layover for a few hours. After this, I will take my final flight from Qatar to Paris, France. So this is Doha Qatar’s Hamad International Airport. It is very well made. Even inside the airport, it is a very big, massive garden. You can see. There are a lot of trees, plants, and gardens below. Look, they have been installed. You can even walk on it. There is a pedestrian bridge built on it. I was just walking on it. It has been decorated very well. With lighting, different plants, and trees. Full of greenery. In the middle of the airport. It is a very big area. The whole garden. Wow. Magnificent. The Schengen visa from which I am going to Paris, France. I had taken this Schengen visa from France. There are around 30 countries in Schengen. Now, I can go to any of these 30 countries with this visa. For almost a year. This visa cost me approximately around 12,000 Indian Rupees. This is my flight from India to Qatar. And from Qatar to Paris, France. Qatar Airways. I have got this flight for around 30,000 Indian Rupees. A lot of people transit from Doha to Qatar via Qatar Airways. A lot of people come to see this garden. They come to roam around. They come here to rest. You can see. A lot of people are sitting. They are lying down. They are reading a book. They are passing time with their family. Friends, etc. A lot of people are lying on the floor like this. You can see. They are operating their mobile phones. They are passing their time here. There is a speaker here. You can hear the natural sounds of birds and nature. So, guys. Finally, the boarding of the flight to Paris, France has started. It is a 6.5 hour flight. Hello. Good morning. So, guys. After taking a 6.5 hour flight from Doha to Qatar, we have landed in the capital of France, Paris. We are walking towards immigration. Finally, welcome to the French Republic. The official name of France is the French Republic. And we have already entered the Schengen zone in France. So, when I went to the immigration, there was a lady immigration officer sitting there. She took my passport and asked me, Do you speak French? I said, No. After that, she didn’t ask me anything. She scanned my passport and gave me the entry stamp. So, this is the international airport of Paris. CDG Airport. So, now I have to go to the city center of Paris from this airport. Which is about 25 km away from here. So, the bus and train also go from the airport. Let’s go by bus. So, the bus and train also go from the airport. Let’s go by bus. If we don’t get the bus on time, we can also take the train. We are going out of the airport. So, it’s a little cold right now. I think I might have to wear a jacket. The temperature is around 15 degrees. I don’t know where exactly the bus stops. There is a mark on the bus. Let me see and find out. So, guys. I was looking for the bus. The bus was not going where I stopped. Secondly, they are saying that there is a strike going on here. Some or the other bus keeps getting cancelled. So, I have reached the train terminal inside the Paris airport. I am taking the train from here to the city center. I have purchased the train ticket. This is a card. This is a paper card, not a plastic card. I have taken the transport card, which costs 2 euros. At present time, it is 1 euro. Approximately 104 Indian Rupees. Or you can say 1 euro 105 INR. So, this is a 2 euro card. It costs 13 euros to go to the city from the airport. Total 15 euros. Approximately 1550 INR. To reach the city center from the airport. So, I am waiting for my train. I think it will come in 5-10 minutes. Apart from that, there are some more trains here. Which are coming or going from different parts of Paris. So, the train has arrived. Look at the airport train. So, guys, I have reached the city center of Paris by train. It took about half an hour to reach from the train to the city from the airport. There was a lot of announcement on the train in English and French. Beware of pickpocketers. Beware of pocket thieves. Anyone can take your luggage and go. So, take care of your luggage. Hold it carefully. Take care of yourself. There was a lot of announcement on the train. It’s 12 o’clock in the afternoon. I am staying in a place like this. In the center of the city of Paris. The name of the place is Saint-Christopher’s Inn. There is a hostel in a different location in Paris. I am staying in this hostel. I will keep my luggage here. Then I will tell you everything. So, guys, welcome to the most visited country in the world. Yes. More than 100 million tourists visit France every year. That means more than 10 crore tourists come to this country every year. More than any other country in the world. So many tourists. France is the 20th largest country in the world in terms of population. Approximately 68 million people live in France. 7 crore people live in France. That means more tourists visit this country every year than the population of this country. It’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Check-in at the hostel. It will be 3 o’clock in the afternoon. I have kept my luggage in the hostel. And I am walking around Paris. I have taken the hostel in the center of Paris. In the center of the city. My hostel costs around 50 euros per night. That means I have to spend 5000 rupees per night in Paris. That too in a hostel. And right next to this place is one of the biggest train stations in Paris. Where I got off. Its name is Gare du Nord. You get a direct train from there. There are many places to go in Europe. Suzerland. Even the direct train goes to the UK. France is called the global leader in fashion. And Paris is often considered as the fashion capital of the world. Yes. This city is considered to be the fashion capital of the world. The largest country in the world by area is Russia. So maybe some people think that if there is the largest time zone in any country, then it will be in Russia. But it’s not like that at all. The largest time zone in any country is in France. France is the 42nd largest country in the world by area. But in this country, there are a total of 12 time zones. time zones, more than any other country in the world. The reason for this is that France has a lot of overseas territories, such as Reunion, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, and many more overseas territories all over the world. France along with the US and UK has the most overseas territories in the world. However, you can say that we are in the mainland of France, whose time zone is UTC plus 2 in the summer and UTC plus 1 in the winter. Because of which France is 3.5 or 4.5 hours behind India, depending on whether it is summer or winter. So now I am walking in the Paris city center. Paris is the main cultural and economic center of this country along with the capital and largest city of France. But here I am seeing, since I have come to Paris, that the French population is not as much as the immigrants. Wherever I look, it seems that the whole city is full of immigrants. France has the largest African population in Europe, and the largest number of immigrants in any European country is in France, at least in Paris, where we are now. So here I am walking and I see so many African shops, especially hair shops. Let me show you the hair shop. I see so many immigrants here that I am afraid to use the camera. See, there are so many African hair shops here. I am showing you from the outside, I am not going inside. If you follow me well and watch all my videos, then you must know that I have traveled almost all of North Africa, all of West Africa, and all of sub-Saharan Africa. The largest African population and the largest number of immigrants in France have mostly come from the regions of Africa where I have traveled. All the African population here is from the same region. Okay, okay, okay. Do you know what happened just now? I was just showing you the region. Oh man, people are shouting so much here. Okay, okay, okay. No, me. No, my father. Me. No, me. No, me. So here I was just talking to people and showing you. Suddenly, some people came and started pushing me from behind. I got scared all of a sudden that who is pushing me? And then when I turned around, people started shouting. Camera, camera, camera. Filming, filming, filming. No, no, no, no, no. They forced me to turn off my camera. I felt like they were going to kill me. A lot of people came and surrounded me. I feel like when I used to travel in West Africa, it used to be like this. People used to come and shout, grab me, and make me delete videos. It’s the same here. Because the population is the same. North Africa, West Africa, sub-Saharan Africa. It feels like I’m not in Paris, not in France. I’m traveling in Africa. I feel like I’m in the city center of Africa. And it is said that in metropolitan Paris, millions of people are of African and African origin. Millions. One reason for this is that France has been the second biggest colonizer in the world after Britain. After Britain, France has colonized the most countries in the world. Especially North Africa, West Africa. That’s why the people there have emigrated less. You can see all the people here. People are shouting everywhere. Some people are off camera, some are on camera. Here. Which place have they come to? What kind of place is this? Okay, okay, okay, okay. It’s such a scary feeling, to be honest. I don’t feel like I’m in West Africa as much as I feel like I’m here. Literally, people are coming and shouting at me. And some people even wanted to kill me. I felt like if I had waited a few more seconds or done something else, maybe people would have killed me here. I’m very scared here. I feel like I’m walking here. Am I in Europe or not? Am I in Paris or not? Look, this is a market of one of those people. I’ve come quite far. I’ve come to another area. They’re saying, don’t show the people here. Show the market. Look, this is the market here. And here you get plantain, yam, cassava. The thing that you get everywhere in West Africa and probably all over Africa. In Africa, this is consumed a lot. Yam, cassava, plantain. Look at this, okra. The big okra. Look at this, okra. It feels like we’re in a market in West Africa and we’re looking at stuff. Look at this. This, what is inside this? Inside this? Manio. Fish? Manio. Manio. Cassava or no? Cassava. Cassava, ok. Cassava. So, it has cassava in it, which is used to make sapodilla. Cassava is consumed a lot in Africa. I’ve eaten a lot of cassava. Fish? So? So? I don’t know what it is. It looks like fish. Maybe it’s fish. Look, when I was in Ghana, people used to barbecue fish there. You can get fish here as well. All these people used to eat it with rice and fish in Africa. This chili, the big chili. It looks like they’re selling everything here. Thank you. Wherever you look, you can’t see the local French people. You can see very few. You can see a lot of other nationalities. Mostly, the immigrants here. All of them. I think there are probably a lot of refugees here. Some parts of the city are neat and clean. Some parts are very dirty. Look at this. There’s trash and garbage everywhere. There are a lot of people walking around. As soon as the crowd starts increasing, I’m so scared to go there and take out the camera. I literally feel like they’re going to kill me. They’re getting so aggressive. I met a Bangladeshi guy while walking. He also has a shop here. He was selling something on the road. I didn’t pay attention. He told me not to use the camera. I don’t trust them. They can do anything. You can walk around without a camera. You can explore. You can see things. You can see the place. There’s no issue. But with a camera, they can do anything. I never thought that I’d feel like this in the capital of a country in Europe. When French or European people are coming here and walking among the immigrants, I feel like they’re a little scared. I feel like they’re coming here without any reaction. What’s happening? People are shouting everywhere. What’s the situation? I just went to a place where so many immigrants are selling things on the road. They’re shouting. They’re doing anything. I feel like there’s no law and order. I feel like I’ve been to an uncivilized place a long time ago. Everything is chaotic and unorganized. But there’s a road. There are people everywhere on the road. They’re sitting and lying down. They’re selling things. I don’t know what they’re doing. I met a lot of Bangladeshis among them. I talked to some of them. I couldn’t even take the camera out of my pocket. It’s a long shot. It’s a long shot to show you. All the Bangladeshis were selling peanuts. I didn’t understand. There were a lot of Bangladeshis. They were standing. They had a big sack in front of them. They were selling peanuts in the sack. We don’t have peanuts in India. You have to peel it and eat it. All the Bangladeshis were selling peanuts in that sack. In the Paris region, there are some areas where the population of immigrants is 30-40%. That’s a lot. For example, there’s an area here. It’s a suburb of Paris. It’s called Cien-Saint-Denis. The population of immigrants is very high. It’s 30-40%. France is very popular for its bakeries worldwide. In French, the bakery is called Boulangerie. Something like that. Look, it’s written here. Artisan Boulangerie. When I’m walking in Paris, there’s a bakery shop at every 50-100 meters. It’s written here, Boulangerie. Let’s go and see if we can get something from the bakery shop. Let’s try something. Look, this shop opened in 1980. It’s been more than 45 years since this shop opened. Artisan Boulangerie, meaning Artisan Bakery. Look, this is a proper French bakery. There are a lot of French cakes, French sweets, French pastries are being sold and available here. Let’s try something. We won’t get something too sweet. But let’s see what we can get. Bonjour. Yes, sir. Yes. It’s okay? Yeah, it’s okay. It’s okay? Okay. It’s my first time here. What do you recommend? Croissant. Croissant? Croissant. Croissant. How do you pronounce? Croissant. Croissant. Croissant, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I’m not able to pronounce it properly. Let’s try the worldwide French bread croissant. Maybe they’ll heat it up and give it to us. What will they give us? There are a lot of varieties here. Different types of cakes, croissants. Look at this. And what else? Hello. Hello. Hi. Hi, how are you? My Instagram or YouTube? YouTube. Yeah, yeah. Hello. Okay, anything else? What else can I try? Is it plain or… I don’t know. Okay, okay. There are so many varieties, I don’t understand. I have taken one item, and I don’t understand the rest of the items. So this is the madam, and she is telling me something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anything else? I think… Can I have the croissant? Yeah, yeah, croissant. Do you want to eat here? Yeah, here, here. This is also croissant, right? Yes, plain croissant. This one is with cheese and… Potato? Turkey. Turkey? Turkey and cheese. Okay, turkey and cheese. And this one is the plain one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to try, yeah. Plain one. I have taken two items. Two items are very popular because of Worldwide France. Is this a vlog? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where are you from? From India. India? Yeah. Where are you from? Me? Born in Belgium, but I live in the UK. Okay. From Congo. From Congo? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. In Congo, you also speak French, right? French is the official language of Congo. That’s not the first language. First language? Okay. But I do speak French, but that’s not the first language. Okay, okay. How long are you staying for here? Huh? How long are you staying for? Two days. Two days? I’m tourist. Few days. Few days? Yeah. As you can see, there are more immigrants from the country where French colonized. Here, French is spoken. She was saying that our first language is French. I don’t know how much it is. Let’s pay here. I have taken two items. Okay. I think it’s 5 Euros. Oh, 6. Okay, okay. Okay. Yeah, pay by card? Yes. Thank you so much. Merci beaucoup. Where are you from? Yeah, I’m from Tunisia. Tunisia. North Africa. I’ve been to every North African country except Tunisia. You should go. Yeah, I’m planning to go there. So beautiful. Yeah, yeah. Try to go to Djerba. Djerba? Yes, it’s like a night. Djerba, Sidi Bou Said? Yeah. You will like it. I’ve been to Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt. You will like it. Yeah, yeah. I live next to Libya. At the border of Libya? At the border of Libya, yes. Okay, Libya and Tunisia border? Yes. Okay, yeah. I was there like this year. I was in Libya like a couple of months ago. You like it? Yeah. You like foods, Libyan foods? Yeah, yeah. Libya is not very safe, but it’s okay. You eat the pasta, Libyan pasta? I had Libyan pasta and Libyan pizza as well. Pizza, yes. It’s good. It’s very good. Yeah. Very good, yeah. They stole it from Italy. From Italy. Italy colonized them. Maybe that’s why. Yes. And what’s your name? Intissa. Intissa. It means victory in Arabic. Victory, okay. And how long have you been living in France? Eight, nine years. Eight, nine years? Yeah. Oh, okay, okay. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too. What’s your name? My name is Thor Vashu. Can I search you on? Yeah, yeah, for sure. You can search me on YouTube or Instagram, anywhere. Okay, just YouTube. Yeah. How to write it? Yeah. English? Yes. Yeah. So this is my channel. Okay. One subscriber. One subscriber. Thank you, thank you so much. Welcome. Thank you. Like one million. Wow. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Good luck. Bonjour. Hello. Good luck. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you so much. In French cuisine, or at least in French bakery, these two items are ultra popular worldwide. This is the identity of French cuisine and French bakery. This croissant, or croissant, I’m sorry I can’t pronounce it properly. A lot of people pronounce it differently. The one who speaks proper French, I think he will be able to pronounce it properly. Apart from that, this bread. This is French bread called Baguette. It is very popular. You will get it all over France. You will get it from a lot of European countries. If you travel to French colonized countries, West Africa, North Africa, this bread is eaten a lot there. This bread is called Baguette. It is very soft inside. Its outer layer is very crunchy. It is very crushed. It is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. And it is long. It is a foot long type of Baguette bread. These two items are called the cultural and traditional icon of France. Especially Baguette. This is Baguette. Look at this. This is the national cultural and traditional icon of French cuisine, Baguette. I have taken this butter croissant. It has butter in it. This is the original croissant. Although it has variations in chocolate and cheese. But the original croissant has butter in it. Something like this. And I have taken this Baguette sandwich. People eat Baguette plain with tea or coffee. Or you can eat this Baguette with any vegetable. But look at this. I have taken this Baguette sandwich. It has a lot of mozzarella cheese in it. And it has tomatoes and lettuce in it. Let’s try this authentic French bakery. Authentic French item. World popular. This croissant costs 1.5 Euros. Approximately 150 Rupees. But this Baguette sandwich costs 5 Euros. Around 500 Rupees. The whole item costs around 650-700 Rupees. In INR. Look at this. This croissant is very big. It is very fluffy. It is very light. It is very soft. Look at this. It is very soft. It has a lot of butter. But this Baguette is very heavy. Probably because of the sandwich. It looks so big. It is as big as my face. I am eating this croissant for the first time in France. Although I have eaten croissants in different countries. But I am eating this for the first time in France. It is very good. It is very tasty. It has a lot of butter in it. Although croissants are known from France. But it was invented in Austria. Later, this croissant became popular because of French cuisine. In France, superstition is believed. Or you can say superstition. This Baguette. If you go to any shop. Whether it is a bakery, restaurant, house or shop. It is always kept straight like this. People do not keep it upside down by mistake. French people believe. If your Baguette is upside down by mistake. Or you keep it upside down. It is a big bad omen. It will be extremely unlucky for you. People believe this. The superstition of keeping the Baguette upside down. It started in France in the medieval age. You can say that this superstition started 200 years ago. At that time, people were hanged as a punishment in France. Their execution was very high. Here, people eat Baguette as a staple meal. People eat Baguette with everything. At that time, people who used to hang people. Those who used to hang people. They used to eat Baguette or take Baguette. Suddenly, they were called. Let’s hang people. They used to leave the Baguette upside down. It started to be believed. If this Baguette is upside down. It is a symbol of death. Because of that, it is considered extremely unlucky. I am eating this Baguette. Proper French Baguette. I am eating it for the first time in France. This Baguette is so hard. What should I say? It is breaking with so much difficulty. It is giving a bite with so much difficulty. It is extremely hard. I think. We will eat it in a hurry. So that the skin does not peel off in the mouth. It is so hard. I have to break it. I am cutting it from the mouth to eat. It is not breaking. It is not cutting. It is making a crackling sound. This is how it is made. In fact, there is a law in France. More than 5-6 ingredients. You cannot put anything in it. It is maida, sugar, yeast. And there are a few more ingredients. You have to make Baguette by putting those standard ingredients. Apart from that, by law in France. You cannot use any other ingredients. To make this Baguette. I am cutting it to eat. It is not cutting. It is not cutting. Here you go. It is cutting with a lot of difficulty. It is breaking. I have to chew it with a lot of strength. I have to chew it. To eat. I have not even eaten half of this Baguette sandwich yet. While chewing, my mouth started aching. I don’t know how I will be able to eat it all. Sir, with you? Yes. With you? Yes. Sir, with you? Yes. Sir, with you? Yes. From? Russia? Yes. From France? Algeria. Algeria? Which? Algeria? Algeria, yes. Algeria, okay. I go there. Two years. I go there. Okay, bye bye. So guys, now I have come to see one of the most visited monuments in the world, which does not need any introduction, the Eiffel Tower, which was initially built only for 20 years. Who is this photo? No, no, he is just walking around. What are you doing? I was making a video of the Eiffel Tower. In the year 1889, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution, this Eiffel Tower was built about 140 years ago. Today, this Eiffel Tower is an iconic symbol of the whole of France, which took more than 2 years to build. Now I am very close to the Eiffel Tower. It is a very tall tower, its height is more than 300 meters. Below the Eiffel Tower, there are a lot of African and other nationalities. Look at the small type, they are selling souvenirs by laying mats. Eiffel Tower and Paris City. You will find a lot of such shops on the ground. A lot of immigrants are selling souvenirs here, even after walking. People from all over the world come to see this iconic monument. It is 8 o’clock in the evening. The Eiffel Tower still seems to be lit up. Look at this. When the police came, a lot of shopkeepers started running here. But the police did not stop, they went ahead. Then they stopped. All these shopkeepers are selling souvenirs on the ground. Everyone starts running away with all their belongings. Sometimes they leave it and run away. Then the police distributes all their souvenirs to the public for free. Because everyone is illegal here. As an illegal immigrant, they are selling souvenirs on the road, on the road, on the ground. So guys, after seeing the Eiffel Tower of Paris, I came back to my hostel at night. Because I have come to Paris before and explored a lot of places. So in this video, I just wanted to give you an overview of Paris. My reason for coming to Paris, France was that I have to obey the rules of my Schengen visa. So in the next videos, we will go to new cities and new countries. So let’s finish this video here. If you like the video, then like the video. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, then please subscribe to the channel. See you in the next video with a trip to a new country and a new city. Bye Bye.

I always imagined Paris as the dreamy City of Light—romance, beauty, and elegance. But what I experienced on this trip was something I never thought I’d face. While exploring the streets of Paris, I found myself threatened and bullied in a way that left me completely shocked.

So, secularism will never be sustainable in long run.
