10,000 euros is all you need to move to Cyprus

Well, hello and welcome back and a huge thank you for coming back. By the way, where are we? Downtown Mandrea. Do you want to have a quick peek? Yes. Just so that I’m showing you that I am where I am. Just over there is the blue blue Mediterranean Sea and of course Mandrea Beach. Stick with us till the end of this little episode and we’ll uh go for a little walk and take you to the edge of the blue blue blue Mediterranean Sea and of course you will be able to feast your eyes and uh digest upon its beauty and of course its spectacularity. So today’s topic of conversation, what we’re going to talk about, what we’re going to talk about is how little money you need if you want to come and live in Cypus. A lot of people talk about it, a lot of people dreaming about it and a lot of people convincing themselves that they can’t do it and a lot of people around them convince them that you can’t do it. You’ll have to stick and uh continue with the rest of your life the way your life is. That’s not true. You can do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it. You’ve just got to have the motivation, the courage, and the planning to go and do it. So, the topic is how much money do you need if you want to come and move to live in Cyprus? In a nutshell, the amount of income that you’re going to need to prove is €24,000. And I’m talking in euros and primarily the majority of the people who are dreaming of coming to live in Cyprus are British. Now €24,000 to keep the maths simple is 20,000. If you’re working in the UK, you already earn more than 20,000. So if there’s two of you working, you earn considerably more than 20,000. That’s what you’re going to be required to prove. Now, again, another myth. Do I need to have €24,000 in my hand when I arrive to Cyprus? No, you don’t. What you need to have is the facility to be able to transfer £10,000. Again, that’s about £85,000 into a criate bank account once you have gone through the immigration process. So, you need to be able to deposit €10,000 into a separate bank account. That’s for a couple, by the way. And then over the next 12 months, you will prove and transfer into that bank account the sum of not less than £14,000. So, approximately £11,000. That could be a monthly salary. It could be a monthly rental income. But it doesn’t have to be monthly, by the way. This again is where people misinterpretate the rules. They assume every single month I’ve got to deposit that kind of money. And perhaps you can’t lay your hands on it every month. Perhaps, as I’ve just mentioned, your income is from a rental income. Perhaps it’s monthly. Perhaps in some cases it’s quarterly or perhaps it could even be annually. And the same applies to dividends. So initially once you’ve come to live in Cyprus and you go down the immigration route to achieve whichever visa you’re going for €10,000 deposited into a criate bank account and then the facility to transfer over the 12 month period a further €14,000 or more. Not that much money. Now I understand a lot of people watching maybe think it is but it’s not. Is it? And if you are seriously thinking about moving to another country, the sums of money that I’m talking about, to be honest, are not that big. Most people will have a lot more, or should we say have the earning capacity for a lot more. Most people, shall we say, immaterial of how much they earn, spend a huge amount of their income on their lifestyle. And this again is another reason why you should think about moving to Cyprus because if you can maintain the same income working remotely or offshore, but then you are resident in Cyprus, your tax will be lower. But on top of that, your cost of living will be lower. And on top of all of that, the problems, should we say, that will meet you and your family, let’s say crime, those kind of things will be considerably less. It literally is a winwin situation by living in Cyprus. And many, many people know this and many, many people are thinking about it. Now, if you want more help and advice, get in contact with us. Our contact details are in the description on our videos. our website marikramme.com there’s a contact a reachout form where you can get in contact with us you can also contact us via email relocate to pathosgmail.com and of course telephone number and WhatsApp are in the description as well so reach out give us a little brief description of your circumstances and what you want to achieve and we’ll do our very very best to help advise you and guide you on the next chapter in your life. And I promise you, as many many people will tell you, if you do make that decision to come and live in Cyprus, you will not regret it and you will not look back. It doesn’t matter where you’re from. Whether you’re from Germany, Italy, France, Iceland, some of the other Scandinavian style countries, the UK, Russia, Ukraine, Cyprus is a melting pot for many, many different nationalities. And it’s amazing to watch people when you go into restaurants and these kind of things and these people mix and have jokes and make friends. It’s an amazing amazing place. Animosity towards other people is very very low. Obviously when you’re driving around you get the odd lunatic immaterial of nationality that wants to gesticulate and tell you that you’re in the wrong. But the moment people get out of their cars and they’re on the beaches in the restaurants in the mal you’ll find that it’s to do with the lifestyle. It’s to do with the weather and it’s to do with the lack of frustration. Yeah. Because lifestyle in Cypus is very easy. It’s very relaxed. Most people get up in the morning and then decide what they’re going to do. Because of course most foreign nationals are either retired or shall we say they work offshore. So when they are in Cyprus they’re on their holidays or they work remotely. So a very very relaxed lifestyle. The weather is amazing. Crime, as I’ve just mentioned, is very, very low. Cost of living compared to the UK and many, many other northern European countries, probably 20 to 25% cheaper. And that’s a lot. And on top of that, taxes are a lot lower. So, when you add all that together, you most people anyway, most people, isn’t it, would agree with me that you are going to get a much much better life. and lifestyle if you relocate to Cyprus. So to recap, the amount of money cash that you’re going to need is £24,000. If you’re watching from the UK, that’s approximately 20,000. That’s not that much. Now, another little topic I want to touch on in this little episode. We talk about remote working, don’t we? And I was talking to a lady the other day and she hadn’t realized that she actually was working remotely. So she lives in the UK and she is a doctor’s secretary. She’s a secretary to three doctors in fact and they email all of their requirements to her. She fills in paperwork, writes reports, emails them back or emails them to the relevant authorities or people that want this information and she gets paid. And she was seriously considering about moving to Cypus. In fact, now I think her and husband are going to go back to the UK and they are going to started in motion to move to Cyprus because I said to her, “Well, you already work remotely.” And she looked at me dumbfounded. She said, “Well, how can that be?” I said, “Well, I assume you are sitting in your house.” She goes, “Yes, and these doctors are somewhere else.” Yes, that’s working remotely. You could do exactly the same job working from Cyprus or from anywhere else in the world. And I think a light bulb came on and I think a lot of people will find they’re in the same situation. So they’re thinking, how can we raise that money to go and live in, for example, Cyprus? You already earned enough money. What you haven’t done is changed your mindset and opened your mind into the fact that instead of sitting in your lounge or your bedroom or your office or your kitchen in the UK, you could be doing exactly the same in Cyprus. Other scenarios are perhaps we always say that the man is the breadwinner. Not always, is it? could sometimes be the lady, but let’s pick on the man. So, let’s say husband and wife and they’re thinking about leaving the UK and they relocate to Cyprus. Let’s say this lady is a medical secretary, so she’s able to work remotely, but that’s not quite enough money to service their needs. So the husband commutes backwards and forwards to the UK because what I found is and discovered that most people do not have to liquidate their asset. In other words, their property, their house in the UK when they are thinking or are moving to Cyprus. So wife moves to Cyprus, works remotely. husband, should we say, works on off on off commuting backwards and forwards from the UK to Cyprus until such time as perhaps he can find a way to remotely work or perhaps retirement’s coming very very soon. Don’t put off moving to Cypress until it’s too late. That’s what many many people do, isn’t it? I know I’ll retire to Cypress when I’m 65. I know I’ll retire to Cyprus when I’m 70. I know I’ll retire to Cyprus when I’m 75. Live for today. If you believe you’ve got enough in assets and you’re earning enough, start to investigate. Start to think about moving to live your dream to live in Cyprus. I can see in the background the sky is very very blue. I ask you now look out of your lounge window, your kitchen window. How blue is that sky? Imagine yourselves living in Cyprus. Imagine yourselves with a very very low crime rate. Not much hassle in your life. Traffic jams. Wow. There’s not a lot, should we say? The sky more often than not is blue. The sun is shining. We’re in t-shirts and flip-flops most of the year. We’re able to relax by a swimming pool. Whether we’ve got a pool or we go to someone else’s pool, or perhaps we go to that pool, the big big blue blue Mediterranean Sea. I’m going to say a huge thank you for watching. Hopefully I have opened your ears and perhaps opened your imagination and perhaps put a thought into your mind. Wherever you are in life, whatever stage you are in life, if you fancy moving to live in Cyprus, it is within reach of most people. Put your mind to it. Stop listening to people that tell you you can’t do it. Stop listening to people that say, “Oh, you can do it in another 10 years. What if in another 10 years you can’t?” Try to do it today. Always try to do whatever you want to do today. Never put it off until tomorrow because unfortunately sometimes tomorrow doesn’t come. Right. As promised, I’m going to take you for a little walk. We’ll put the sunglasses on because here we are at the end of September and the sun is shining. We’re going in that direction, which of course is the blue, blue, blue, blue Mediterranean Sea. Feast your eyes and digest its beauty and of course its spectacity. You very very soon indeed could be sitting at a little table in the picnic area just off Mandrea Beach. Perhaps dipping your tootsies into that blue blue blue Mediterranean Sea. Perhaps hiring yourself a little boat or perhaps even buying a little boat and perhaps going out early in the morning to catch a fish or two or perhaps just to enjoy the views. But there’s something unique. There’s something very, very special about a little island called Cyprus. It’s known as the island of love. If you come here, everyone’s going to love you. And I’m pretty sure you’re going to have the adventure of a lifetime. Huge, huge thank you for joining me. Massive thank you for watching. Please hit the like. Please subscribe to the channel. Doesn’t cost you a single penny. And please drop in the comments, what topics would you like me to talk about? Some of the simple things like how to change your electricity bill, how do you do the road tax on your car? Feast your eyes and digest. There it is in all of its glory. The blue blue Mediterranean Sea. And remember, all that’s missing is you. Thanks for watching.

  1. So Hi Paul. Brits don't actually get the breaks over here anymore. 24k euros per person. Detailed financial statements, and all the transactions, annuities. I really didn't like sharing all that info.
