Hello and welcome back to another video. This week you join us for The Ha Giang Loop, the infamous motorbike tour
in northern Vietnam. The locals call it the Rock Park,
and we soon found out why. This was so much fun. But it wasn’t just about the bikes. With all the stops along the way,
this was a serious adventure. Strap yourselves in for some banging
scenery, unique sightseeing, and a few try not to cringe moments. Happy Water Everybody happy water right! Yeah I’m happy water every night. Sweetheart. Who’s gonna not be picked?
Someone’s gonna be dumped. Whose gonna get dumped from the island? Ready to go! One more time. oh my gosh look who we found! Besties have arrived. Finished the loop, conquered a long long day. It’s made my day seeing these two. On this top of the tour, we got to see how local women
make their textiles. First, the thread is spun
using this foot powered machine. The thread gets wound around sticks,
ready for weaving. Next, the fabric starts to take shape. The threads are woven together
one by one to build the cloth. Once it’s woven, the cloth is pressed by rocking side
to side over this wooden roller. This helps smooth and tighten the weave. Finally, the design is painted on by hand, giving each piece its own style and story. Big bamboo. I’ve never seen it that big before, or maybe i have. well probably have cheers so these rich man over here buying salted coffee, nice DCs.
Slummin’ it mate. We’ve just got to accept life as it comes. It’s time. sorry there was an earwig on me. I’ve lost my bug spray. Morning. It’s day two on the Ha Giang Loop And we are ready and raring to go. We’ve got. I’ve got my wide hat on. I’ve got Orla’s hat on. Is that real? Yeah bro this is real. Nice. Real fake. So saucy. Some guys had their bags stolen from our hostel. It’s a bit worrying,
a little bit worrying. Breakfast was rice and nice. with a side of wasp. with wasp infestation going on around us, Hi Gangs I feel like the butt cheeks are going
to be, throbbing after this day. However, it’s going to be a good one. And let’s just hope and pray
that it’s not 100% rain. I’ll update you on the bike. with some more scenes, and some more good vibes. Day two. April, what did you order a Vietnamese coffee with coconut milk. Let them try it. Splendid. Let me tell you. Shall I tell you the taste. Yeah. Explain to us,
think of like a really, really strong double shot espresso with coconut cream. Kind of like the texture of a McDonald’s Mcfrappe. Its got air in it it’s been blended. It’s been fluffed. I feel like a crack head. So, this is our leader. When the heavens opened, our easy drivers pulled through. We pulled over to the side of the road
and put on these huge ponchos,
which kept us nice and warm and dry. Shall i write i love you. I’m entertained. All right. Oh is that it? does anyone else want a go? Orla? Why are you disgraced by us? Okay. Let’s get your demons know guys.
guys bless yourself. Okay. a bit slower. All right thats enough. where do we put it?
in a banana. in the nanas. here we go look. for the last stop of the day,
we took a boat along the Nho Quế river. The water here
runs through the Tu Sản canyon, known as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. Gliding through the canyon was so peaceful compared
to being on the back of a motorbike. And it was such a relaxing
way to end day two. On day three of the loop, Meg and I split off from the rest
of the girls to head back to Hanoi. Meg would then fly home
and I went straight to the nearest pharmacy to cure a mystery, allergic reaction
and a lovely spot of tonsillitis. It was such a shame to have to cut it
short, but I decided that a few days in the city would do me
some good. The others
carried on with the four day tour and headed straight
to sapa for more hiking and greenery. I’ll rejoin the girls in next week’s video
where we head to Ninh Binh. but for now, all that’s left to say is

In this video my friends and I go on the Ha Giang Loop! The infamous motorbike loop in Northern Vietnam. We had such a wonderful time. The views were insane and the company even better. There was so much more to this loop than what you see online, the easy riders are very lovely but I think for us all the surprising stops along the way made this an adventure we would never forget.

We did the loop with Buffalo hostel which included transport to and from Hanoi and or Sapa. I would highly recommend this company for the smaller group sizes but still a social vibe! All the food was incredible and the leaders looked after me even when I got ill. Such a vibe. #happywater
