Shipwreck Beach is located on the island of Zakynthos, Greece. It is a stunningly beautiful cove known for its crystal-clear waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and golden sandy shores. Accessible only by boat, this remote beach is famed for the wreck of the MV Panagiotis, a smugglers’ ship that ran aground in the 1980s.
Visitors can admire the rusting remains of the ship, which rests on the beach’s pristine sands, against a backdrop of cliffs and azure waters.
