Vernazza, Italy — a small town in the province of La Spezia on the Mediterranean coast. It is part of the Cinque Terre coastal region. Vernazza and four other similar towns are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The town is famous for its brightly coloured houses, vineyards, hiking trails (such as the Via dell’Amore, or Way of Love) and crystal-clear sea. There are almost no cars there — tourists get around by train, boat or on foot.
