Palma de Mallorca – Majorca – 24th September 2025
Today’s Wednesday and it’s the 24th of September. It’s 2025 and uh Anise has gone off to uh knitting today and then she’s out for lunch. So, it gives me a bit of a free rain. So, I’m actually down to catch a bus again. Going off into Palmer just or to have a look around and see what’s going on there. Well, right on schedule. Here comes the bus. A really good uh buses take us into Palmer. Hopefully, it won’t be too full and I’ll find a seat. A nice ride. Managed to get a seat on the bus and uh probably takes about 15 minutes to come into Palmer on a good day. But uh it’s a lovely day. Sun’s shining, blue skies, and uh gives me an opportunity to have a a look around with quite a bit of freedom. Cross over here. Right in front of us, we’ve got the uh the station that takes you to Soya. I’m not going to go to Soya today, but uh going to go by the train. That’s where you go. And right next to it, that’s the interodal station just down there. That’s where the bus comes in. And that’s where the trains, the metro go out. And there’s the bus. If you want to go on the bus to walk to Soyer, Soya town, and that’s a much cheaper way of getting there. Train is very lovely. It’s beautiful, scenic, and if you get the right one, there’s actually a stop where you can take photographs of the the the old town. So, yeah, but it is quite expensive. So, when we go, we either drive there or we’ll get the bus. Just waiting for the lights to change and then I’ll cross over at Green Man. Just to the left there is the Salah Augusta. Actually, a cinema that we’ve never been to. um described as a smaller cinema, but they don’t often if ever have it’s open. It’s a bit strong. Obviously, not open. And uh these this road here is referred to as the Aanas, the avenues. It’s very busy. If you’re driving, you need your wits about you. We’re stopping and waiting for lights to change so we can safely cross. And there we go. [Music] I’m just going to have a look in uh CEX. I’m not going to need to so I can have a look. Have to buy anything, but I can have a look, can’t I? CX is uh like the computer games and cameras, that sort of thing. But, uh not had a look in this one for quite a long time. So, I’m usually where I meet her and uh she’s not really interested in that sort of thing. She’s off to knitting today and then uh she’s got a a lunch with some of the former teachers of the school, but it tends to be a ladies thing. So, um I don’t go. I might pop in to say hello to you and we’ll see. So, I’m just going to have a quick look in here and uh if I see something, see something. If I don’t, I don’t. Usually start by having a look in the window. I’m not really that interested in games. They’re not my sort of thing. More interested in cameras and other techy stuff. Well, lots of nice things, but uh nothing for me today. So, I’m going to make my way back down towards Patha Espan. I’m just by the um cinema again and just noticing that they do have one that’s uh in English. So, um that’s what you have to look for. Version original subtitled in Spanish. So, um they do have horns on and they do have in English. So maybe it’s one we should be having a look at. So I’m back at the uh area where you get on the train. There’s a bit of a queue. Bit of a queue. It’s a huge queue. Uh why not? Because the train’s just coming in. I’m sure all these people have a lovely day. visit. Yeah. So, yeah, can’t cross the road here. What I’ll do is I’ll just go up to the ticket box office. It’s a bit further up the road on this side and just see just how much it does cost to go to. So, yeah, by train, we haven’t been for a very long time and uh yeah, we certainly were put off. They used to have a special rate for uh residents, locals, but uh they had to stop that, I think. ticket area. So there you go. You got the prices. If you want to go by train, Palmer to Soy back to Palmer, it’s €30. Oneway ticket is €23. If you want to go down to the port going on the tram, then uh getting all those tickets all together, Palmer. So yeah, so down to the Puerto and that is €40. Expensive, isn’t it really for a train ride? It’s not that long, but it is pretty. I’m sure they’re going to have a wonderful day. I’m going to make my way across the road here. And uh this is where the intermodal station is. That’s the bus, train, metro. And uh it’s where you can get the bus if you want to go to. So yeah, buy the the local bus, the TIB bus, which is significantly cheaper. You have to look on the tib.org website to find out the exact price, but really good. It’s better if you just pay with a card as well. It’s cheaper or pay in advance. Um but you can tap on tap off. That’s the cheapest way. That’s the interodal. That’s the bus station. Still doing some work on this side. [Music] [Music] Just noticing that the um tourist information is now in this building. which says Penfield local. I knew they’d open an office. I just didn’t realize it was on this side of Espña. So across the road we’ve got Pla Espa. And uh this is the park, the station’s park, Estatiana. And uh local police have got an office here to information. They’ve got an office here. Nice and new. That’s really good. [Music] And uh just to reinforce the fact that the police have got a um be a local here. They’ve got all the police cars here. So I’ve not actually noticed this before. Maybe on the should be I’m a little bit behind the times cuz this has been here for quite a while I believe. Just going to cross the road again and go back towards the pla which is just here. might remember a year or two ago I was talking about the kiosks, not particularly this one, but uh one that actually is near to CNA one bar Alaska. Um but they’re in the news again. Um they’re owned by a concession who’s got several of these kiosks and they are going to close at the end of this month. They’re going to close. They simply cannot afford to keep these things going. So, at the end of the month, this is going to be here. And the reason is that they’re just not being allowed to do what they need to do to keep going. So, they can sell magazines, they can now sell ice creams, but they can’t sell coffee uh because it will interfere with the businesses around here. And they’re not allowed to have an ATM machine, which apparently if they had an ATM machine, that would pay for uh the rental of that, but they won’t do that. And the rental and the administration and all of the other costs that go with it, meaning that the people who um are running these, it’s about I don’t know several of them around the city, have lost something like 130,000 euros since they’ve had them. They’ve only had them a year or so. So, um yeah, they’re going to disappear unless something drastic happens in the next uh two weeks. There’s a stage up there. Not sure what’s been going on for the stage. I’m going to go and do my usual little walk down here. Have a look to see what’s happening at the uh military center there. Hive activity was with Monro and Marc the other day and they were Monroe was saying that you know just can’t easily find good Spanish food here in Easp. So um not sure certainly not the place that we would normally come to eat is pla place that we pass through but obviously a lot of tourists do the bars are open are busy as the bakery so that’s pretty Spanish it’s pretty uh some and pastries they’re just getting ready and this It’s more pastry. So, it’s more of a a breakfasty type pastry thing cakes where I think probably people certainly later on the day would want more savory tacos. Straight in front is Cayomos. I might have a we’ll wander down there, see what’s going on in Misordia. There have been lots of things going on because they’ve had the uh dear de Mayorca which is probably why that stage was there Mayora to celebrate Morca day and it’s actually one day that they celebrated but um these things get spread over two weeks now and uh lots of different events that uh happening was here recently so not sure whether They’ve changed the exhibition. Free entrance. Just go in, have a look around. Let’s have a look. Might just take photographs if it’s like something I’ve not seen before. I think it’s just posters. Yeah, it’s not it’s not anything new. And so, um, I’ll have to come back later on when they’ve got something different on. The church here as well is also worth a visit which you get into from the back of the cultural center, the military cultural center. This is cayos or ger dels as it is now known. And it doesn’t matter what time of the year You can this is so busy. Always lots of people around. It’s a pedestrianized street. Lots of cafes and bars up and down. Lots of little shops you can look into. Some of them are perhaps aimed more at tourists, I suppose. It’s the Vox Palas. That’s a political party somewhat rightwing though. splinter group really I suppose historically of the party which is a more conservative party but um they sort of split and several members of the pato popular form Vox they keep getting in the in the news for all the wrong sorts of things that posters being offensive. For example, Photoshop. Nice to see names like Yashika again, but not the Yashika that I know. Used to have a professional shop up there, but it seems to have gone skate shop. where it goes up to Plaapatin and Sala. So that’s a very um oldie worldly place been around forever here in Palmer and it’s got all the old posters like the fighting posters in there, football posters. Uh big huge barrels. It’s just an interesting place to go and you will get some typical Mayokin food in there. said all that. We were not impressed the last couple of times we’ve been. So, we will give it another go, I’m sure. But, uh, not yet. This is the street as well that I used to come to, me in particular, I suppose, for um, printing. It’s lots of photocopy shops and that sort of thing. There’s one of them still here, but it used to be a street full of photocopy shops and printing shops. So you can have your business cards printed, letterheads printed, and uh well, I was actually here not too long ago having our cards printed. Show you what they look like. So we go another one. I think that’s the shop that did them for me. Only problem was I gave them the exact size and they chose to enlarge them slightly thinking they were doing me a favor, but unfortunately a little bit oversized for business cards. [Music] Just getting to the top of Vona. across the road is Micordia. Nice gardens. Well, um you can sit. There’s a a library there and sometimes they’ve got some exhibitions on uh outside and sometimes inside but I can’t see anything. What they have had recently is the nit the out nit is a art evening where the art galleries and different things happen in the evenings and going on quite late at night. You can go wandering around the streets and visiting the different art galleries or they’ve had something on in uh Misericordia as well. So this is the uh the aroma also known as the armbambla laambla and many Spanish cities will have a rambla they’re like um well pedestrianized area got roads on either side. We’re actually in the old part of Palmer now and uh they’re gradually gradually reducing the number of vehicles that are allowed to drive around Palmer. So you have to have a sticker now. We don’t have that sticker even applied for it. So um you don’t have the sticker. You can’t drive in these parts of Palmer. And to get the um stick in your car has to have what they refer to as low emissions. These are low emission zones. Um and the uh the rules and regulations of getting them going to get stricter and stricter. And so I think next few years my car for sure won’t be allowed to drive in these anyway, even if I did have the sticker because mine’s a diesel car. They seem to think they’re more polluting. Well, if Anita was here, she’d be um admiring the flowers as always. Always a wonderful display. Put in There you go. [Music] church across the road hidden by The facade that’s in front of it uh is St. Theresa de Jesus Jesus and it was constructed in 1624. It’s not the facade that we can see but what’s behind it. some of the stage that’s been set up. I’m sure that’s had something to do with uh dear de Maya, the next public holiday here in Maya and indeed in the whole of Spain actually falls on a Sunday unfortunately. And it’s the 12th of October. The 12th of October every year is a public holiday. Doesn’t matter what what day it falls on, it’s a public holiday. So sure it falls on a Sunday. So most people are not working anyway. Um some areas of Spain decided they’ll take it on the Monday, but not the Balaris Morca. And so, um, instead of that, Mora was going to have the 26th of December as a public holiday, Boxing Day. And pretty much they’ve always done that. I think it does feel though, well do many locals, that they’ve lost out on a a normal holiday. 12th of October is also an interesting day in that it’s the day that the entry exit system is going to be introduced in the airports. So from from the 12th you will have your if you’re coming from the UK doesn’t apply to anyone who’s coming from uh Europe or Shenhen areas should I say to be more correct I suppose but anyone coming from outside of Shenhen area uh when they come into Spain they will have their photograph and fingerprints taken. There’s no Etias yet. There’s no visa restriction other than the ones that are already in place. Um it’s just this uh photographing and uh it’s not just Spain, it’s not just Mayora, it’s the whole of the Shangen area that’s uh it’s going to be phased into. It’s going to be done slowly and carefully over the next few months. And I’m pretty sure Spain’s going to be one of the first ones to do that. And certainly my eggs, they’re they’re all ready and chomping at the bit like this horse to get it going cuz uh they’ve got all of the uh the machines there ready and it really should speed things up. And the curious thing is that they they have chosen to do it on a holiday. It is a Sunday, so maybe that won’t matter too much. And uh the country in Europe anyway that it affects the most is going to be the British. And it’s coming up to half term. So all of you who are coming on holiday term, you’re going to have your photographs taken and your fingerprints as you enter. it won’t apply to people like us though. At least it’s my belief. Um because we are residents in uh Spain. Then uh we should be able to bypass that and we’ll find out because Anita’s due back on the 15th. So after it’s all been implemented, Anita will be coming through. So uh we’ll be able to see what her experience is. From a resident’s point of view, it’s a breakfast Brexit benefit. on the reverse side of it. Um we’re going uh to the UK this weekend and our son and his family are going as well. And um son obviously is British, got British passport, but his wife and daughters don’t. They have European passports. The girls have Spanish passports which they have to have a Spanish passport passport. But to get into the UK, they have to have ETA which is a a v a visa waiver which has cost them £20 each. So or 20 each. Let me correct that. 20 each, which is really quite an expensive trip just for the weekend. In fact, for one night they’re going on top of the fairs they’ve had to pay for um the airplane and the the higher car on the other side. So, I was talking earlier on about the um the news agents, news stands. This one’s already closed. I don’t think this one’s part of the group that I mentioned before. But, uh they’re obviously finding it very difficult. I’m guessing people are not buying the same number of newspapers. This is not as profitable as it used to be. Um but if they’re not allowed to diversify, then how can it work? Bar Alaska which has been here forever and thankfully that’s still here. You get your puppy to demo [Music] yesterday in Yukayor. It’s always one of our favorites pretty much every week go to uh Yakayor see the grandchildren and uh bar where we go does a particularly good pito demo. So when we go to that bar, that’s what we have. And uh I’m talking to to Monroe about this and if a particular restaurant, there’s a particular dish, particular thing that you like, then go to that restaurant for that particular dish. So we went to an Indian and he says he always has the same dish there because it’s good. So I think that’s great. you go to that restaurant to have that dish. [Music] And we have uh similar things with different restaurants that we go to. We go to them because they’re particularly good at doing a certain thing. [Music] The wonderful building across the road there is a museum and it’s open to the public. Free to go in. Uh you go through that archway and up the steps at the back there and it says laasa posibly possible perhaps and you can go and wander around. And there’s lots of different things to look up there, the different rooms, the art, and there’s an organ and sometimes they have music recycles [Music] right next to CNA. and carried on going up there. That’s um Himeitas. This is Barb Bos. Another place that’s been in Palmer forever. Always busy, always a great place to sit and watch the world go by. And down here we’ve got McDonald’s. I don’t think you get many Spanish people going to McDonald’s when you’ve got bl or the cappuccino. This is cappuccino next to it. Again, a bit more tourist. It’s probably a little bit more expensive. Oh, Bosch is the more original. And this is the Bourne Passage Debor. And uh talking about the kiosks, there used to be one here exactly where we are standing right now. Now, there used to be a kiosk selling newspapers. That one went a long time ago. Um, and now we’ve just got restaurants and shade. This is great place for the shade. And in Christmas time, I have all the lights on. It’s actually all around the trees. So, just plug them in and switch them on time. And they’ll string some fancy ones out as well. This has really really gone up market over the years and uh nice restaurants, nice shops, Zaras across there and some very quite expensive places and uh massive watch shops Gary over there. But in the past it wasn’t like this. Um, when we first came here, there were restaurants down here that did menu delier for 350 patas. I brought my parents to a a restaurant and it cost all of 350 patas which was like £150 I suppose for a three course meal with bottle of wine giiosa water but that’s a long time ago. Times change. Here we’ve got the local band playing keeping the uh tourist entertained. [Music] Louis Vuitton. This is where we’ve come on the night of the 5th quite often of January when we watch the parades for the three kings or of the three kings and uh anyway at other times throughout the year there’s lots of things going on here in the passage to the barn. So just referred to as the borne quite often they’ll set up a Big platform, big stage here for events. In the end, we’ve got the fountain which is placed arena. do enjoy walking around Pal and just seeing what’s going on. Do like the um the fountain here. I brought my camera with me. I haven’t taken one photograph yet. Time to take a photograph. Just hold on here a second. I’ve taken one photograph. I’m going to take a few photographs. That’s where we went off. No water coming out of that fountain. This is a fountain, but no water. They’ve been doing some gardening work here. This is nicely kept. I’m going to get another shot or two of the fountain. Try to miss the bus. Okay, moving on. So, the uh the horses have been moved up to this part of the road where they’re in the shade. We did it. I see one in the paper the other day where it collapsed. Not so bad. Now the temperatures have dropped to more tolerable levels. Still mid20s. Definitely too hot to be dressed like that. I’m going to go through. So, lots of walking tours going on around Palmer, which their appetizers been free, but at the end you’re expected to uh give them a tip. And uh this 20 or 30 people, they gave him a euro. It’s not bad money. This is a spot where people like to take a photo of the the water fountains going through here. Quite a nice water feature. Sellers shouldn’t be selling any lovely water features along here. Line things in a river. These are all illegal sellers. Don’t buy from them. I’m giving this warning in lots of videos. Couple of birds admiring the fountain themselves. I’d go down there, but I’m going to go up a level, taking a few steps, get to the slightly elevated position where I can actually look down through these wonderful gates. This is beautiful tree. Check the uh slingshot down there. Quite often there’s some market stalls, but uh nothing much today. There’s one a bit further down, but nothing very much. And you can get the uh the bus to take you around to it just on this side. a little pond which there has in the past been swans in. Nothing there now but just above is the uh the royal palace. I’m not working. This is an area quite renowned for pickpockets. So just be careful. Used to be flower sellers here. We’re looking down on Park Demar and uh a crocodile still there. Look, not real, by the way. It’s the Guinness bar. And we’ve got Yeah, we’ve got one, two, looks like we’ve got three cruise ships in. Government’s announced in the papers today that they’re going to limit the number. They cap the number of cruise ships that are allowed into Palmer. Now, they didn’t do much didn’t do very well this season. Just coming up towards the cathedral now. And we’ve got the local police. That’s why there’s no sellers here because it’s illegal. Keep near to the local police. [Music] We got a singer there entertaining the crowds. I just think amplified music is not what it should be here. Well, I’m up to the top now. Look out here just like everybody else is doing. Just look out over the port. Quite breezy up here. This usually isn’t an entrance. So, but today it’s open and it’s for groups. So, if you’re part of a group, you can come through this way and go into the cathedral. I suppose they’re getting some big groups because of the ships that are coming in. And so opening the door give a little bit of relief. People trying to get in that way, but you’re not going to get in. If you want to go into the cathedral, the normal way if you’re not part of a group is round this way around to the right. Just keep following the cathedral round and uh good to see out. They take everything very leisurely, very slowly. I suppose if they did anything too quickly, they would um worry the tourists and that’s the last thing they want to do. Tourists are here to enjoy themselves and the police and the local community, local government want um wanting to enjoy themselves as well. The breeze now really blowing. So um yeah, this isn’t the entrance either. This gate opens on special occasions and usually when dignitaries are coming in and the dignitaries will enter through here and then go through the main gates of the cathedral but uh not open. If you’re like me, just a a regular person, then this is the way you go. And there is an admission charge, so you have to pay to go into the church. At service times, you might be able to get in free, but please do pay the the charge because it helps to support the church, the c the cathedral. It’s a very expensive building to keep running and uh I’ve been into several in the UK and they do the same thing and uh certainly that’ll be good just paying a little bit to help keep these things going. A bit of a queue here as well and €10. So hopefully they will get a few thousand people in every day and it’s a few thousand that goes towards supporting uh the cathedral. I’m not going in there today. We’ll go in on another occasion though. Here’s your black men the um selling illegal wares. This car’s just pulled off up off the road. They will be down and they will be putting their things out for the tourists to buy. Some more um some carriages here. What? I’m just [Music] Lovely back streets. You can wander down these back streets and you never know what you’re going to find. Always interesting even though very narrow. [Music] Yesterday was our first round. Give you an idea of time. It’s coming up to 10 to 1. 10 to 1 near lunch time. Government buildings largely to the left and to the right. I love my walker. [Music] Those narrow streets many layers of government in parliament. So behind us we’ve got like local government. This is other local governments. This is conc. And then uh the town hall. This is Plaquart. [Music] Something going on here. Some work going on at Plaqu. Well, just like any old building, it has to be maintained. It’s over. [Music] Famous olive tree. This is the de Palma Palmer Town Hall. A magnificent building Year’s Eve. It’s the clock up there. We come to see. And if we go up that way, we’ll go towards Pla Mayor. actually going to go down this way. Can just go in there and the giants will be there. Just I’ll show you. Giants do come out. Giants do come out now and again. In fact, they’d be out last week, I think, for Mayor Day and the uh in the middle the dragon breathing fire that will come out various events as well, particularly the gory fox when fireworks come. So these um barricades would have been all about. So that’s another walking tour. And uh here they get a taste of the uh different produces. Easter time. This is one of the places we come where we watch some of the Easter processions coming along here. They’re always spectacular. More work going on in the corner there. That’s another council office. Magnificent church of Santa Ulia. So again, could go down there and we’re going to go up the bike streets heading towards Bakam Mayor, I suppose. Stop gentrification. It’s one of the things that uh is upsetting a lot of locals. Rich foreigners buying up places that have been sold by keen people who then become rich. That’s a really tricky one, isn’t it? Having been to Gernie this summer and they do have a system where they have the open market and a local market. So that if you’re a local, you can buy on the local market, but uh if you’re an outsider, you can only buy on the open market. And the prices for those are much higher. There’s a limited amount of um property available. You see these roads? They are not pedestrian, but people obviously live here, so they all need to get to their garages. And uh this is obviously gentleman trying to get into his garage. And so drive down here. Garage is just down there. See, it’s step one road back from where most of the tourists are. And you got these still interesting shops with lots of fascinating things. Lots of cafes as well, but you’re away from the bustling crowds that were in the other streets. So don’t be scared to go off a little a little bit off pie. [Music] [Music] Yes. So that’s syndicate down there. But we’re all photographing this wonderful gaudy-esque type building here. This gargoy type thing in the middle. And the street down there is where I need to get some parasol. She was just saying the other day I think she needs to get a new one. It’s got one getting very dirty, but she does get a lot of use out of them. We went to Belv Castle. We brought an a white umbrella which I said that double service there. One of these folding umbrellas that you can put in your handbag. So maybe useful for the UK as an umbrella and here as a parasol. She’s got both in one packet there, but not as elegant as the ones that she uses normally. [Music] This is plaster. Clown on a uni. An electric unicycle. Down below us is where the gallery is that’s going to be opened up. And uh well all these big changes going to go on here. I guess they’ll start this winter and uh well expect a couple of years work I suppose and uh Mayayor will be transformed in about time. This is San Miguel. Another one of these shopping streets, but again, one that was really busy because it’s where most of the tourists head. Oh, you know, so [Music] We got to come back. [Music] [Music] The bell ringing there for 1:00. This is the Basilica of San Miguel. Usually when I go past there’s a service on but I think 1:00 I should be safe. So I think I might have a look inside here. It’s very dark in the church and they are doing a lot of work in there. So, there’s some scaffolding up so not easy to see very much. I I did do a little video and I might put that up separately so you can have a look to see what what I could see. Um, but again, I need to go in again. Never seem to have much luck with the uh the basilica here of Samiguel. One of the statues is setting up there. [Music] Usually carry on straight up there, but uh I’m going to go down this way. [Music] [Music] So, I might just pop in here and have a coffee. [Music] Well, I found myself a chair and a seat. And uh I got myself a coffee. Cheers everyone. I’ll just have a little break, watch the world go by and then carry on. That seemed to be a good place to go for a coffee and uh 2:20. about in the middle of town really. Just sent me to a me a message to say that she’s already at the restaurant where she’s going to be having lunch with the teachers. Just carry on my little wander around. This is the uh Oliver market. It’s actually coming up quite late, so they’ll be closing the whole thing soon. So they recently had the uh nit de art and uh the fish market stayed open late. I’m sure they weren’t selling fish as such but rather tapas. I just walked around the corner. There’s one of these kiosks that uh I guess is doomed. It’s the other side of the Oliver market and then in front of us that’s the the fish market. So this was open for the art night I think because of the fish but because of the tapas a little look in there. Some of the shop fish are closed. This one’s open. Lots of lovely fish on there. open this side. But uh what’s happened in this is that it’s changed into place where people come and eat fresh fish, drink champagne and drink wine. This is what it’s all about. Heat. Heat. and it is very very popular. This is one of the original places though, the original tapas. If you’re coming in here, this is probably the one to go to. It’s where you’ll find the locals as well. I’m going to carry on and uh make my way back to the bus stop. And uh what I will do is I’ll go back and uh go to where the bus starts that way and to get the seat. in India. This is the the back of the market. back of the fish market and back of the general market. There is an underground car park as well here. I don’t Gracias. Let’s go down Kath. This place is uh closing up now. The afternoon coming up to 2:00. Some will stay open, some will close, some will open. So, here look, has a sort of a typical opening 10 till 1:30 and then uh open at half past 4 through till 8:00. Saturday, they’re only open in the mornings. And that’s Yeah, that’s the old traditional hours. over here. Love it. All right. It’s nearly that now. Just around the corner, this is where um Anita and Iran meet and rather than sometime to go for coffee here. Plantation. There’s a bus in sure if it’s mine. Two buses go there. There’s one that’s 46 and one that’s 47. I can get on either of them, but one takes a long way around, the other short way around. So, it’s the 47 I need. I come on the 46 and I go back on the 47. And uh well, let’s see which one it is. It’s still there when I get there. And no, it’s the 46. So, I want the next one. the weight of the door. Well, no waiting at all really. The bus pulled in right behind and uh on the bus now waiting to depart in the next uh 5 minutes or less. And we’re on our way. Yeah, watching bus lane. It’s coming up here to spend that 25°. That’s probably more like the real temperature. Got a lot of people coming onto the bus. This is why I get on the first stop. If you wait till this one, you might not get a seat. Another old original bar. That’s the crystal. Heat. Heat. [Music] So there’s the uh sight of the old Surfetta and completely gone now. Just a big pile of rubble. Belvar Castle in the background. Well, there we are back where we started. I’ve just got off the bus and uh behind me that’s the stop where we started. So, hope you found this interesting. Thanks for watching and we’ll see you in the next one. Bye for now. [Music] The train is waiting for solar, but today we choose the streets. Plaza Espa calls us onward with the city at our feet. Down car is homes we wander [Music] where the morning voices flow. Every corner tells a story. Every step a place to go. Palmer shining in the sunlight with the flowers on display. From Baroma to the Bourne, we let the hours drift away. By the rain and the harbor, where the cruise ships line the bay, Palmer sings a song of summer. And we walk it all today. Shadows dancing on the stone work. Markets humming, shops alive. Laughter echoing through the alley. This is how the moments thrive at the cathedral by the water. Looking out across the blue, every view becomes a memory. [Music] Every sky a brighter hue. Palmer shining in the sunlight with the flowers on display. From Baroma to the born, we let the hours drift away. By the rain and the harbor, where the cruise ships line the bay, Palmer sings a song of summer. And we walk it all today. No need to hurry, no train to catch, just the rhythm of the square with the sun upon our shoulders. We belong to Palmer there. Palmer shining in the sunlight with the flowers on display. From Bara to the Bourne, we let the hours drift away. By the rain and the harbor, where the cruise ships line the bay, mama sings a song of summer, and we walk it all today. [Music] Heat. Heat. Good morning
I loved your tour around the more pedestrianised areas and covered market of Palma – Thanks
Hi! I found your channel because I went on vacation to Portocolom this September and looked for some impressions. What lovely people I found 😊 Have a great weekend! Greetings from Berlin
Steve, thank you again. it's another route that i visited while in Palma. it's bring a nice memory for me. I would love to visit Mallorca again
Very good 👍👍
Its harder to drive on those busy roads as one gets older. My grandson loves cx
Excellent bus service
Do you know how long the bus takes to Soller..?
It’s good that you both. Have your own interests.
So much less hassle using the buses.
Great walk around my favourite place in Mallorca. We always used to go into the Bar Cristal but since it’s changed hands it has lost its feel of gentrification which we liked. Great views from the bus windows on the way home. Thanks Steve.
Gracias Steve.
