A Japanese Local Tours Asakusa with a French Traveler! (Tokyo Guide) 4K

I’m at Asakusa and it’s really
early for the tourist. That’s why almost 1% of people. Here are
not crowded Asakusa. Let’s take a walk. This will be great shot. And as you can see, no store is
open because no tourists here yet. And it’s really rainy. So it
be not much tourist will come on compared with the other as a usual sunny day. And I want to visit here again at the main stores
open. And I will take a sweats like some spongey, made of Wheat flour. It is a sweet Japanese sweet and there’s
uncle red bean placed inside street and it is the end of the Nakamise street
and that’s why I always tempted the other store but keep wait for the the
hunger and take the snack at There. Now we’re seeing this is it is my favorite spot. And I want to visit when they open. I’m not sure
when it open, but maybe like 10 or something. This nice view. Let’s take a walk in 10 temple. You got this. Okay. You can see the tower. It’s a tower
called Tokyo Sky Tree. It’s really high. Let’s go shop. This is Omikuji. what we make is fortune telling this and this got some money here and shake it and pull
out the earth sticks and it does a good And when you draw a Bad fortune please do not worry
tie it on the hunger and draw back for here restaurant important for temple that with rather how the queen can maintain the garden.
So it’s kind of donation with enter Uh 74 here. Uh 74 one and take only one. Oh. It is bad for you. You should know
there may be some people like snake or tiger that hire you. That’s scary.
The Chinese letter to taste for one bowl means to lose everything.
When the people get pleasure, there happened to be some in interference by
others which is obstacle for people. Peace union of the people. The upper and lower do not
mean so well means our family being joined. Huh. It say it says everything is so bad. Your
request will not be granted. The s patient is hopeless. The roast article will not be
found. The person you wait for will not come. Building a new house and removal are
both bad of any kind to start the trip and new environment are all bad. If it
says everything so bad now that’s fine and it’s bad one. So tie h tie it on the hunger and
drop for off here. That’s what I can do. Let’s wait and let’s do that. How to draw mommy puzz and how to tie back this and tie the only if you draw
a B please tie it to the rock and now I hold from the back wait that’s it. It is always important to get some drink. And it is it trip to Japan? Yes. Is it first
time? That’s great. Yes. It’s a It’s a dream. Dream. Yeah, dream come true. That’s great.
It was very nice. Uh I don’t realize I’m here because I dream of this country uh for a long
time. So I’m so happy. And so you have some interest in in Japan maybe before. And what what
was the beginning? like it can be some culture or animation or it can be um the first of all that
um with manga anime and um I was curious by the culture and the food very nice um and step by step
I um learn about um the history and the future and um that’s all. Uh and where where are you
from? I’m from France. France. Yeah. Oh, great. Are you run Japanese? Uh I wish but
no not now. But great like running is really difficult and like I think like alphabet is
like some connection but Japanese is totally different. So it’s really different. I just
know some words but it’s normal to speak a little words in Japanese. But that’s great.
Yeah. So I try. I’m not great but I try. like that trying is great and that maybe that
little step like actually come to here Japan. Exactly. And you picked the
engine. That’s very great. Oh, that’s really great one. Yeah, I’m
so shocked. Is there some chart or not? Not ch but this I I picked this
one. Oh, last one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s great. Yeah. And maybe yours
were like everything is great, but mine was everything terrible. Oh,
okay. Every people go away even you put on it. So I hope you great fortune.
Yeah. And it depends on like various uh but like like some but like tie there are
good ones or like some some depend on there but this is the only bad one here. So keep this
one and bring the good for you. Yeah. Um I was in China. Yeah. Yeah. They have this one but there
are poems and very nice. I go this with me. Um. Oh that’s great. Beautiful. Yeah. It’s
really nice. Oh man. Oh, disappoint like maybe like is 10,000 10,000 generation country it’s a maybe difficult word like
old world So I’m not sure it’s a sky open sky. It’s a like a old way of saying like
it’s something to hear
Fuji is a Mt. Fuji takene but I think it’s like high the height like high so thank you and what is some translation for that
maybe age of the age or land lives in prosperous peace so looking award we stand in the wave at
wearing your garden big Fuji m it’s also this kind do you know this pus it’s um peace or yeah
it’s very permanent very peaceful sounds like you’re really I’m sorry I don’t know
how to translate I know the meaning but um it’s very quite uh calm in
French what what what in French is prosper prosperity prosperity also
some Latin similarity Yeah. Oh, and uh maybe is included in the like 10,000
country means a calm calm down or peace. I see I I got from the English
really difficult but uh maybe it’s uh some citation from old ancient poem like
maybe I guess yes yes um from uh by imper 10 generation and 8,000 generation.
It’s a like way of saying like 8,000 generation like longow like made up of
long. Yeah. 8 8,000 maybe like on One Piece like that some like Zoro says 3,000…
I think these kind of number shows a lot that’s great also I thought that mingu is
not good for bad fortune and rather Yeah, it’s just poem like this. That’s funny because
I take this one and is what? Number five. Number one. Ah, this one five. And I was born at five.
Oh, that’s great. That’s funny. That’s great. Oh, the first place. Wonderful. And I thought
there go. Yeah. Yeah. And I I’m really uh want to get this one, but I do not try yet. So
that’s great. Maybe one time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Really beautiful book. And yeah, that’s very
Yeah. Mhm. Great. And do you have some plan to going somewhere near in Asaka or going some
other station? Um, today I I stay here. I will do uh sh and I will go to the national museum. Oh, in
today in place. Oh, I I don’t look if it’s closed or open. Oh, it’s Yeah, I think I think it’s
open, but it’s better than uh It’s okay. Yeah, I will um take a walk to the park is very nice.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it’s nice. But and today is great day. Like not too hot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. On
the other day it’s really too hot. So yeah, but you stay here today. Uh m I still
think look around and maybe going to Harajuku or I’m not sure you
you wake up really early right I take my time but I wasn’t uh far away
from here only 30 minutes It’s okay. Great. It’s okay. Oh, great. Yeah. And you
look so happy and I feel I’m happy, too. It’s good. It’s Yeah, it’s
important. It’s important, right? Um and you go this one. Yeah. Yeah. Uh you you
take a look. Oh yeah. Yeah. Like this area. Uh the first time like I I came here maybe more
than 20 times in Aaka but like this area no people like it’s less people like I think it’s 1% I yeah
but perhaps they’re too shy. I I was sorry I Yeah. You already know your master. Um, it’s
important when you come somewhere and uh show respect. Oh, respect culture. Yeah. Um,   great. And tell me it’s uh like the smoke.
Yeah. Is saying like like get the smoke and take to what you want to improve. So everyone want that on the head. Yeah. So, and also I have allergy on nose it’s really nice. There’s some rules, but I mean
I’m I’m not perfect kind of and it’s really hard like when when I need
to make you you can and it can be like uh I think it’s better like not not forcing   yourself and it’s and many people only one
it can be so but also this little amount money it’s okay it’s a pleasure I I give you you
show me something it’s okay thank you for that and this And uh I know on there there’s a like two cup and
but I I’m not sure for here. Uh I think it’s okay. That’s so beautiful. And it’s beautiful because uh everyone’s
support and thank you for the support. Thank you. And I think the there’s a
washering the And do you know the way? I so let’s take a look. You’re so kind, generous. So So I I hope
you are good trip. Thank you so much. Maybe in front it’s very difficult. I don’t remember. Um, I do something some words in
Japanese. Mhm. I like kids. Oh, it’s raining. Rainy. Very great. So from this mas here that’s great. Yeah. How did you learn the
language Japanese? Oh uh Japanese is with uh anime and drama. Yeah. and uh English is
a series and I take some lessons to be more fluent but I’m stressed. Yeah, very speak.
So, yeah, I I learn the English from South Park. That’s that’s good. That’s good.
It’s really too bad language. And here speaking so fast and it’s a chewing
it’s a shoeing it’s a shoing it’s a sho is a the color like red color
and red color like that and I think it’s a like religious color like for
the sacred things like The Miko is a uh a priest like things like priest like
thing wearing the red and white and red like and in is a sign or signal or so that kind of so
maybe sacred signal my translation buting M house. It’s really cool. I can write like that door like it’s
nice to they give this paper. Yeah. Yeah, it’s nice and nice view. How is Yeah. Yeah. It’s a like every Japanese drink in
summer and every Japanese uh refrigerator keep the bottle. Oh. from grandma’s generation like
drinking this. Yeah, it’s very refresh. It’s very nice. And when I go to grandma’s house, there’s
always in summer. I’m not sure why only in summer, but maybe uh on winter hot green tea and on they
keep this. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And good for hydration, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s good.
That’s good. And Oh, is it around? Oh, almost eight. So, maybe just Yeah. Yeah. Oh, we don’t see
a lot of the sky tree. Oh, yeah. Sky tree. Yeah. It’s a view from Yeah, that’s
great. And on the top topic and maybe near the crowd. That’s great.
Some Oh, nice. M. Oh, and this sounds and I saw this this on maybe
YouTube. Yeah, I see that’s the one. Oh. Oh, they small like maybe before maybe
before and after two. They’re getting ready. And these are kind of be out
like I I didn’t see that. Oh, it’s uh like using the gun run gun here and
shoot that one. Yeah. And you can get if you sometime sometime like it’s a festival
things. Yes. So you usually it’s a this one is a kind of special thing like
it’s stay here. Okay. But usually it’s on the festival. That’s why they
they kind of trick like put some stone or it can be like really heavy even do not
move. It’s time. You often play this game at ah very old own elementary school like
there’s a summer festival in the local area like local shrine each local shrine and some
it can be scary like like guy like like cook and noodles and higher than usual price
and like that kind of entertainment. So after I grow up, I I it’s it’s really
fun, but also uh I I think about the cost and game. I’m I’m so too too mature. Cannot enjoy
reality. I see. But it’s it’s really fun. Yeah, it’s fun. It’s fun. Festival like festival
is like something not not daily life. This amber And the imp impression of is
like this. Mhm. And and the comedian and and also this kind of theater like and Asakusaa was kind of the entertainment
city like the like theater, comedy and movie theater. Oh, okay. But uh they are so proud of
themselves. So they reject the the big train line like we don’t need that. That’s why
the Shibuya is now bigger than here. Oh, okay. The Yamanote line. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Mhm. So, there was plan to come the Yamanote
line here. I I thought I’m not 100% but this is a Monja. It’s a there’s one. The Monja
is something really difficult to wow it’s a small okay and this big one is osaka style
kind or okay west style and west style and east style the culture will be different okay
okay and I think it’s especially on Tokyo. Oh, and on Hiroshima there’s a noodle inside or
like the there’s cultural difference similar things. Oh, okay. In this one too. Uh it’s
it’s a I think it’s a Tokyo one and Osaka. Oh, Osaka without noodle thing.
I I saw that I I thought okay and these are is a how can you say a pub or   restaurant of alcohol and so
many comedian drink here and And this kind of the it’s really early. So
anyone doing here but they bring the like chair and desk and just come maybe
around here. Maybe that’s the line. Oh, I think this one is a traditional. Yeah,
the one with the wood broke to the table. I can see the cracked car the blue one.
I think that’s the amazing Y. Uh so uh more than 7 70 or 80 years
that it’s a long time. Yeah. At least there’s a like uh same company of
the fish trading. Yes. It says that so that I think that’s why cheap price and better food.
Yeah. And that’s why they keep their store keep staying here. Yeah. Perhaps. Yes. Yes. I think
now here the price of the rent is really high. Maybe because of the tourism need. Yeah.
Mhm. But staying here long will be some uh some good food or drink some maybe
atmosphere that many people come here for the old Yeah. culture. Yes. Yes. It can be it’s
also nice like really new and fashionable. Yeah. But that this crowd is small and really
dirty is also tasty. Yeah, I understand. That’s very nice. Yeah. And this road
is not organized because the the own era or like before that they are not like
the like they did not make the story for the car. That’s why really really awkward.
Yeah. Like that. Yeah. Okay. So I I really enjoy that kind of Uh awkward street.
Yeah, maybe because of the culture. Which way you want to go? It can be maybe. Yeah. Oh, and this says the some uh the food like
uh not actual food but the stage four stage food the theater theater. So they sell the for
the and also this is especially for the theater and these kind of things small things. Okay.
Okay. Yeah. Maybe something like that. Yeah. And sometimes they say second hand
like cheaper kimono. Oh yeah. Oh. Oh, and this is also kimono. The Oh, the
traditional. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Wow. And I think it’s a maybe from cheap to expensive. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Uh-huh. This one is extensive. And I think the really expensive one is made
with ste. So really really expensive. Uh cheap one is like the like chemical kind of thing.
Yeah. Yeah. So I think these are cheaper. Yeah. Oh, and this one is a uh like old
harute like American Harut. Oh, there’s a the hand of the star. Yeah. Maybe
they imitated this. Okay. Wow. Mhm. Yeah. And this is also co is a kind of public theater.
Oh, okay. So maybe only actors or celebrity. Oh, maybe comedian. Comedian. Oh,
and comedian and theater. Oh, I think I think I I I have impression. Mhm.
Maybe some music kind of things maybe. But I have impression some comedian doing some
uh thing on here. Oh, and this maybe the theater kind of thing. I have impression of that
kind of theater things and also that comedian. That looks funny. Okay. And the traditional uh singer uh like
in impression like Frank. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And especially for grandma
generation. Yeah. that I just stay and on summer the sambar carnival like sambar.
Wow. Like it’s a Brazil things. Yeah. Sambar. Amazing. Wow. So it’s a place for
like entertainment. Oh yeah. Yeah. like like city organization is like try
to make some entertainment on the city here Asakusa. Ah it’s during uh summer that’s why I want come that but it’s too hot this
summer. Yeah. So and really crowded. So uh maybe not I thought that Yeah.
Yeah. I saw very high temperature in getting sick. Yeah. So I I stay in Yeah.
Yeah. But you get well. So if I go there, I will get sick. So I skip it.
Oh, I I’m safe. But that’s great. Oh, and he it’s a Nakamise St. came back.
Oh, yeah. And maybe some store opens. No. And I wish there the the store open.
Oh, like this. Let’s take a look. Yeah, these are like factory made and that one is
a like six on each like baking. Oh, okay. And the like you say is the fish shape, right?
Taiyaki. Taiyaki. It’s Tai is a fish name and that’s a Taiyaki. Oh, okay. And uh it also has a
like class like that. Oh, okay. I’m not sure which is good one, but the only one fish
by each, is natural. Yes. And like more than one like three or five each is a like
planted or like fish like actual fish. I know. Oh, that one the Kima only one. Oh, and I can buy one. So maybe
you want to eat something else. So I I give you one and it’s a maybe
they you want to try many food. too early?
like getting ready for the the I don’t understand but I
understand it’s too early to Sorry. It’s okay. It’s okay. So if you want to try some please. Yeah. Try and some souvenir things Oh. And like English things is like maybe after
covid many people tourist come to Japan that’s like maybe they renewed kind of thing. Yeah. Uh
I saw Japanese only(in past) but it it changed. adaptation. I feel really scared. (Boy NInja Manikin) Just take a look to the socks because my
mother told me I want socks. Japanese socks. I just got to socks. Let’s see some sides. three. Okay. out. I used to wear Geta(wood shoes) once and hit
here(bottom part) on the train entrance and broke it. And it’s really scary when I go
down the stairs like like Oh yeah, it’s in my memory. It was comfortable? NO Just for fun. Oh. Oh, but it’s soft. Maybe it’s also good for
kids. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, because you have Wow. Wow. And you find I was so no I don’t think about
because of the material you know uh like I I saw that is the shoes sole in there
and maybe you don’t want sole
No sole one? like perhaps not this one but like this this style. Yeah. You want some color or some
I’m totally free to choose. I have time to see don’t worry and why your mother thought it’s good
the socks um my father and my mother comes in Japan. Oh. Um the
year when I was born. Oh, that’s great. And six months after that.
Yeah. Thai Thailand. Italy. Thailand. Roma. They do fairies. Uh Tokyo, Osaka. Going to
Hong Kong. Hong Kong. that’s great. I don’t spend too much time in Japan, but my mother
love a lot of time they spend. That’s great. And my socks really embarrassing,
but uh it has a finger. It’s really good for long walk.
Yeah, that’s why I picked one. Maybe my mother like that, too. I bought
on UNICLO. I got Okay, thanks. And also there’s normal one and for long and walk comfort maybe the separate finger pressure like really embarrassing. free. I’m hungry. If you walk around here,
they going to teach the No, you can try. I can try. You even
you don’t need you don’t have to. You can try. I see the box. It’s getting really hot. Yeah. Yeah. No problem. Yeah. This is a there’s a famous TV program.
Oh yeah, it shows on the and on three day like 10,000 of this. So they are
proud of that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, it’s with ice cream. Oh, yeah. And the food it’s also good one. The sourness and of the strawberry
and the sweetness of the red dead red bean cake and is really good. It’s good. You want to try try strawberry?
Oh, I’m thinking how are you? I was thinking about me, but I I
don’t know about the ice cream. Uh yeah yeah yeah I have impression yeah not I better you can try to do the the first
oh they are open now they don’t have any me yeah Oh yeah, that one ice
cream in ice cream can be better. Uh where is it? Can be like near there’s a another
same brand like there’s a lot of the meaning I don’t know what’s happened there. Sometime these kind things happen in Japan like there’s a tapioca it’s
a drink tapioca drink and pancake. I know. Oh, you know, this Yeah. You want some? Yeah. M. Oh, but no, no, no. I’m not sure. Oh, that’s how they Oh. ready.
Okay. Around 10 something like that. How about this time? This is a sweet potato thing. And this
is also famous things on right here. Oh, and there’s a company called Funawa. I
I’m not sure maybe it closed yet. Okay. But there’s a maybe three around here
and they are really good. Oh, nice. And I saw is also in near Disneyland near
to so they are big and famous things. Oh, okay. I thought there’s a one around here,
but I’m not sure which way which street. Oh, look really same. Yeah. And
closed. So, I don’t care. Oh, and do you uh watch some
anime like things? Yeah. Not one, but some kind. Not much right now, but sometimes. Do you remember the name of the anime? Um, yeah. I don’t use Japanese name. I’m sorry. Um in French
or English maybe I will tell you. Uh I’m looking this one right now. Ah m Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I’m looking
for this one right now. Yeah, I like a lot. Yeah, I like that better.
Yeah. Um and before that, Jujutsu Kaisen. That’s Attack on Titans. But I Shingeki no Kyojin. Great. Great. And you? Oh yeah, like like you said. Yeah.
Okay. And Dragon Ball and Naruto. Naruto is so Yeah. And I like Jojo, but
I’m not sure it’s for girls and Inuyasha. Do you know Inuyasha?
I know. I know. I like really like the the drawing style. And other anime you know is
do you know other anime? Um what can I say? Oh. Um,
it’s a long time. That’s not It’s a long time. Oh, when I was
young, I saw Sakura uh um Yeah. Oh, it’s a I say Funawa. Oh, it’s a
it’s a restaurant. Yeah, you see. Yeah, this one. Cardcaptor Sakura Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I like, love clamp uh drawings. I saw all the the anime and manga because I I
like her a lot when I was young. Yeah. Oh, oh, fruit basket, too. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah,   that was very funny and
sad, too. But I like it. M. And I uh asked the other person
uh interview the the person is come to like travel to Japan. Yeah.
And like you and also she also say yeah and she is say she is from France. Yeah.
It’s very popular. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I do not know that. But I heard some like
Japan festival kind of things event is like many things happened on like France.
Yeah. Yeah, I heard of that. Yeah. Oh, I forgot the uh Detective Con. Oh,
detective. I like it a lot and a lot of movies. I don’t um also Nikki Larson
Nikki Nikki Larson. Um it’s um and uh it’s an English name city in French. Is that the French one or
Nikki? What? What’s that? Nikki. Nikki city. Is that the translation is the
name? Oh, yeah. in Japanese Saeba Ryo is a name. Saeba is the family name. Oh, okay. Oh,
and this is a traditional like Japanese western food imported like like this. Yoshoku is kind of
it’s Oh, omelette rice. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And here is a really famous. Okay.
And staying here for long like as you can see. Uh, I’m not sure when it’s
over, but I want to try that. Maybe 10 or maybe famous like one of the most
famous restaurant in Asakusa. Oh, okay. Yeah. It does not look fancy,
but Is that a local local thing? Oh, maybe he is a founder and looks really lo. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, and it’s a in 2024. It’s a 100 year. 101 year. That’s great. It looks very nice. Heat up here. That’s the end of the road.
Oh, yeah. That’s right. You want to eat some food or
it can be like snack or food? Crew restaurant crew restaurant perhaps too
big and I I don’t know. Some snack. Yeah. I think you’re hungry. Very hungry. I can be
both. Both. Yeah. I I I don’t eat a lot. So like I eat small like many times. So it’s
fine. Like I I’m not I have no trouble of not Okay, we can try some snacks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Great. Oh, and this is a morning service. Oh,
yeah. And it’s also come from western side of Japan culture. Okay. And uh they
have the cafe and when they order like $2 coffee they they bring the bread and
sad with that. Okay. as a service. He Oh, and the kit is the the
own sushi. Oh, I can see that. Did you cry? No. Huh? I never It’s a I know it. Do you eat is there some sushi restaurant? Um I live inside of France now and we don’t have um we don’t have good Japanese restaurants
but in Paris in Paris have a street the best Japanese restaurant is the
real like you can it’s only there You can find me. Yeah, that’s the only street
you can visit. Oh, really? Oh, little in here. The rest of France uh you found sushi easier. Uh uh the best uh sushi
restaurant is in Paris. M Oh, so there’s some like Japanese stories. And what do you think the sushi or like fish like
maybe uh getting popular little by little? Yes. Expensive. Oh yeah. Yeah. Better
expensive than here. Heat. Heat. for uh six. This is a price tra. Oh, that’s very
good. Much better than much better. Much higher expensive. Okay. Yeah. Okay. And people eat sushi and maybe because of healthy
or what? What do you think? uh like low raw hot or it can be taste taste raw. Yeah, perhaps
it’s uh I think it’s more of taste but healthy lot of people don’t like cook. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah.
And also the market like like the in Japan there’s a the fish market they treat for raw fish. So the
like maintain the quality or like the it can be the refrigerator for that for like these kind of
things everything is for the rob. Uh it can be uh like it can be the fish not good for the raw
fish. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that’s why the the raw fish culture is there. I think that that
can be the reason Japanese is cheaper. Maybe like the like cooked fish is like lots of fish is
for cooked fish. Oh, I think it can be the some reason. Yeah, I guess. I have no evidence, but I
just made up possible. I don’t know either. So, All ground. There’s a big. Oh, it’s a pig cafe. P. There’s a dog
cafe and cat cafe. And now like micro pig. Yeah. Yeah. Small small pig.
And it’s also in in also Harajaku and really cute. Really cute.
I think there’s some photo it’s Oh, that’s nice. You’re really maybe like like this.
Yeah, like one one and a half mill. cute. Oh, there are more. They have Instagram.
Why? I’m doing my best every day. Oh, no. Oh, relationship. Wow. What?
What’s this? I can go again. There is left. Oh no. Oh. Oh, you got riot
riot. Oh no. That’s great. Oh je. Oh. And oh. No way. Oh, so both like things. Oh, maybe
big big one. Yeah, big big microwave. Yeah. Maybe it has and it’s power and they it’s very physical. Mhm.
And uh and they do not want to like uh their job is hard like like they
want to enter entertain and have fun. So, so I prefer originally it was more
like the taxi. Okay. But uh now it’s more like entertainment or explaining
like energetic like that like tour guys. Oh, is that that’s a maybe Taiyaki? Oh,
it’s a fish one. Oh, yeah. You want to try or can be I think Oh. Um. Oh. You
prefer melon pan as Taiyaki. M okay. I will try later. And the T is really famous in every station. Oh, now you can see the Oh, maybe you like all like sociology kind of things like
the there’s a huge tower m the people’s like students emotion is stable I heard of
that and maybe tower and maybe they see the tower and see the direction and
feel comfortable Oh, okay. I saw I Oh, and there’s a kimono rental.
Yeah. And you can like rent rent the kimono like for like two or three hour
and walk around. Yeah. And some photograph. Oh, we are there. Uh, I don’t remember the way. How about Oh, it’s um it’s
for I know. Okay. Maybe around maybe around around there. Yeah. And uh maybe
it’s a better story to look around. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, this dua. It’s a It’s a It’s a Doku. And uh on the goshing there’s another goat and it’s
the name of the okay maybe that that one guy with a hammer. Oh okay maybe for fortune
and business wealth and okay kind of got and a lot of same name shop in here. Mhm. And
uh I know Daikokuya and it’s a restaurant of the tempura. Oh, really famous one. One of the famous
most famous tempera store. But it it’s the same name but it doesn’t look like the uh restaurant.
I’m not sure. Oh, it’s difficult to find the good shop if the the shop has the same name. Oh, yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. But it can be the branch like maybe there one and these are small ones. Oh yeah. Yeah.
Oh, and some some person is looking. Oh yeah. I was joking. And udon is also good. Do you
know udon is a white white noodle? Yeah. And it’s also famous in west side. Okay. And on Kawa it’s a far far much more far from
here than Osaka. Oh west and uh they said we don’t prefer they proud of okay and they their style
of udon is now on like New York or exported the style. So maybe like on Paris it can be run with
a long store of that western Japan style. It’s was a Japanese chef. M maybe. Yeah. Crunched
things. Yeah. It’s a like very famous like uh 100 store restaurant in Japan kind
of things and moved to other countries maybe the rent kimono that’s the st And we can walk here again. Yeah.
Maybe. Yeah. Can I can I drive? Hey, hey, hey. Oh, nice. Finally got one. And
it’s it’s hot here. Oh, yeah. she’s on, you know. Yeah, maybe. Yeah. How do you get that? Oh, it’s nice. Oh, that’s a that
kind of thing. That’s nice. And this one is the the red
one. How how is that described the ramp or right? London. London.
M. That’s right. Yeah. Yeah. Ramp. Nice. And basically it’s same as the
kayak is bigger one. Yeah. And this one is really small. And he is
the more crispy type. Yeah. Everybody take take a walk to the
park. Maybe it can be rain or Oh, and I thought there’s a green tea.
Oh, yeah. And it’s a free green tea for tourist. Oh, I thought really, maybe for
the advertisement the real Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that’s really good
for this. Good combination. Okay. And I want 41. So it’s one day Heat. Heat. the sweet and soy sauce and um Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki, you tried it.
That’s great. I like it a lot. M and better. Yeah. Yeah. Is there similar food
in France to Okonomiyaki? Not really. Maybe the closest one is a crepe.
Yeah, kind of. Um the ingredients uh we know it but we don’t
do it in the same recite. So I don’t have the same we don’t
have the same as like that like um this one um the red beans we don’t eat a lot of in some receive but in with meat
M some meat. Meat. Yeah. So, more like uh like food like
tomato with tom tomato. Yeah. I I hear the maybe Asian things like
bean and sweet and dumpling or some sweet. like that. Yeah. Yeah. Much more like
tomato and and South America like more like the spicy thing like So I I feel like
this in China there the similar things. Oh. It’s a tower. Yeah. I thought there’s a
tower over there. And it’s I I thought it’s a it’s a the technically like technically there’s
a Buddha Buddha’s bone inside. Oh, okay. But there’s 10,000 women or like and also
in other country like India, Thailand. Okay. So born inside but but anyway technically okay I
thought that yeah and that’s that’s kind of tower and taste good. Heat. Heat. Oh, and that wood is really huge. I didn’t
realize that. It’s very big. Yeah. And usually there’s a huge wood like big hood near the
shrine or temple and it can be the wood is a worship like worship. Yeah. As culturally like
maybe before the Buddhism come. So it can be a huge stone or huge earth and they worship
and they made a village. Oh okay. Uh and I think that’s a possible thing and so that’s why
made some village and the world is changed and studio J animation like to my neighbor to is
also about the tree and go and it’s a story Oh, the like before the movie made there
was a forest but Ji saying the like like uh for making some building or ste they make
uh they remove the forest and and on to like there was boat But we are not sure we
have that like it can be. Oh, okay. So when I see like that kind of huge trees,   I imagine like when the tree is really small,
what was surrounded here? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You saw so many things. Wow. I’m
curious. I’m curious of many things. And there’s a acorn is a the what’s the seed of
the tree? Acorn. Oh, okay. Yeah. How to pronounce Acorn uh and on to my neighbor to acorn. Okay. And
uh recently I found acorn on park my new house. Oh yeah. And I plant acorn. And one
year after there’s a Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that that tree still
living. Yeah. Maybe year two passing passing winter successfully.   I thought it is dead because on winter there’s
no re and really tiny stick stick like Oh yeah. So it’s growing. Yeah. And I on the I
I lost my hope but I keep watering and spring come and leaves new leaf and it’s
growing. Yeah, he’s growing. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I I tried. You try and you believe
and that’s it. That’s it. Yeah, exactly. You want to sit somewhere? Oh, go a bench
over there. But okay. Mhm. Okay. What? You can be like standing right here or you
can be stupid. Oh, maybe there’s more. Which do you want? Some around around here or like like they do or or the some chair? Yeah.
on on the on the roof beneath the roof. Yeah. Oh, it’s getting hot and Oh, that’s nice. Maybe the like set tour like included like
a photo included tour. I have that kind of Oh, and over there. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. And there’s a sun, but Mhm. And now it’s really clean.
Yeah. And I I have impression Asakusa is really dirty and old and
now it’s really really clean. Yeah. Really drop. Yeah. Yeah. more bit dry. Yeah. Yeah. I know you got a bite. Oh, yeah. Can can you can you I don’t want my hand to what I am doing. I’m so sorry. Thank you. Thank you. Thank
you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, very welcome. I’m sorry. I need my glass.
Sunglass. I don’t see anything. Yeah, it’s That’s nice. Let’s see. Yeah. Oh, crispy outside. Yeah.   And it’s much more crispy than usual melon
pan because of the sugar thing. Yeah, perhaps. But it’s going to go a little recently Japanese generally is more
hacky. Oh. M and this is kind of the thing like coffee and I feel the impression
like French bread is like hard. Yeah. Is that the truth or Yeah. like it’s very
it’s kind of crispy but it’s long and um like bucket. Yeah, like that. Yeah,   exactly. And uh like cutting and with cheese
and with wine. That’s great with cheese. It’s like I feel like I’m going to We use it for a
lot of things. So to put butter on it, butter and jam perhaps to um when you finish your dish, you
know. Mhm. We love sauce and we Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. yeah. Yeah. In Japanese saying
that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. What’s the favorite bread? French bread in uh
what’s your what’s your favorite bread? The baguette. Yeah, the simple one. I like it.
Um and it’s kind of difficult to uh have um a good bakery. Yeah. Yeah. Bread. Yeah. sometimes
uh it’s it’s not quite good because the baker uh buy it uh fresh and just uh bake. Yeah. They
don’t bake themselves like on factory making huge amount and like deliver. Exactly. And they
just uh put in the to cook just to cook but they don’t make it. And yeah, sometimes um it’s um you
have bakery but uh they do some dessert. Dessert. Yeah. M and sometimes they’re good for dessert
but not quite good for bakery you know. Yeah. Yeah. So it’s fancy dessert and people come but
the bread is so so Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I because um the the job is you learn the same but
you can be good at one but not for the two kind of things. Oh, it’s complicated. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. And I has a bakery is really like they need to wake up early to make the bread.
Oh yes. Yeah. Yeah. So I saw the hour. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Morning. And every day. So yeah, I
I can understand they like bring they buy from factory. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And for but
uh some really good baker like is actually doing like wake up wake up at 3:00 a.m. Yeah. Yeah. I
have the I have seen that kind of documentary in Japan too. Yeah. It’s a small bakery like in like
small uh small house in the parking really tiny one but a person that he is really passionate
and wake up in the dark and yes yeah yeah mhm I have the impression and I understand that each
bakery a different case. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Totally right. and sometimes this small bakery they are
very good very good because they um have the technical the experience and uh sometimes you can
see very beautiful uh new and very very beautiful but it’s it’s not that you The taste random
it’s not like 30 years on the local and they they are master of the so like the company can
build a building but they cannot uh like uh like they cannot force to work the baker. car like
the local profession. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But in France, it’s more and more difficult to
have a local as a professional. It’s very very expensive. Oh, really? Yeah. Are the the
round or Yeah. the round because you can have your shop but it’s not yours. It’s a rent
shoe in and it’s very very expensive. Yeah. So like startup is really difficult. Yeah.
A lot of company and bakery or whatever uh close because of the price of the price.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I saw the news like this ago like years ago like like on France like
maybe the Champs-Élysées street like the local bakery is closed and Yeah. Yeah. I heard that
kind. Yeah. Maybe similar things happening on Tokyo too. Yeah. Yeah. And it can be some ramen
shop or it can be bakery or sushi restaurant or battery is really I think it’s really tough
like they need to like they cannot talk and also They need to sell on the day. Yeah.
Yeah. So really need to systemize but for individual and maybe starting up
and 20 years old or 30 years old you can choose to sell uh for
the day and the day after but not the day after after it’s two days.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s right. Is it fast me? I like it. You like it a lot. And it’s no me
inside, but the shape or the the cut. Yeah. Uh uh I’m not sure it’s me or but it’s it’s say
me for long. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe uh 40 or 50 or 60 maybe 50 or 60 years
old maybe. Okay. Uh not traditional but not new like in between. Oh yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. 60 60 years ago. Maybe like 19 uh 60 or 70 maybe. Oh, it’s not
it’s not far away. I think the there’s a the Hamburg steak and omelet rice shop.
Yeah. Yeah. I think the same era. Oh, I I feel that kind of impression. Okay. Yeah, it’s sunny and start to get hot. Oh, yes. Now it’s difficult to walk like that. Oh, and I have the typical image of Asakusa
is like this like many people call it and on morning it was totally different because it’s
not like this. Yeah. Yeah, I have this image. Now it’s all like honey and I’m just supposed to be there. Yeah. And these are shoot. Yes. And is is showing me guardian is
here. So bad one did not come that’s why two things are huge. So demon did
not come because there’s huge guardian Oh, and now it’s totally behind the world. And in Japan that kind of umbrella the
sang umbrella doing that and I I don’t think that in other countries. Not in France. I will say it’s not that hot uh in France,
but this summer it was Oh, really? Yeah. It was very difficult. Yeah. Uh because we have
high temperature. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And don’t uh they still hot uh day and
night without any wind. Oh yeah. here in Japan too like uh uh like
getting hotter and fer year by year and maybe in 10 years is really totally
different. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah and especially in Tokyo maybe the the asphalt the
ground is like less nature than other prefecture Yeah. Uh the the uh it’s Tokyo is
hot. Okay. Because uh like less in nature than other prefecture. So the rate is   uh higher and higher like the the south
is cold. Okay. And usually it’s opposite. So, it’s something insane. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, and there’s some new brand new snack. Yeah.   Yeah. Maybe. Uh I’m not sure.
I’m I’m I did not see. Take that can be good. And I think the other thing
Oh, yes. Yeah. Yeah. So, and of course you you if you want, please try that. Yeah. It’s
okay. and bread with vanilla. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, peanut with nuts. Are you going? You want to you want to try or Oh, it’s very good. Oh. The first one is second one. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Okay, this is called Asakusa Okoshi three rice. This is it was a sweet for high class like emperor class sweet but on Edo era it is
popularized to the citizen they And it’s also that kind of food
is the famous snack in Asakasa. It is called Kaminari Okoshi Kaminari is the thunder and the thunder gate. Yeah, Okoshi, maybe, the it’s a hiragana. So I guess the meaning but it’s a “cause” “cause thunder ” Za za za, that sound. Thank you. I guess it’s okay.
In Hiragana it has interpreted in many ways. So there’s a lot of things. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, socks about socks. You you want this kind
or more UNICLO like things or like modern things or traditional things? I don’t know. I see both
and I will choose later. It’s okay. I have time to choose. Oh, and I think this area is really
good for the traditional that that kind is that this is another one, right? Yeah. Not the same one. I thought ninja. Yeah.
Yeah. Maybe it’s a different One three and also maybe only side. I think I will take one of
Yes. And one of like you have now. Oh, it’s really hot. Yeah. Oh, and it’s a type of Tish or Yeah. And
I have impressed really expensive kimono like there’s a main store
and here and that kind of Oh, and here is also famous tempura. Tempura store. Oh, there’s a lot of Tempura. Yeah. Yeah, I like I like too. And
where did you get the Tempura ? Oh, and this is a Thunder god. You eat the sweet I think is the wind god and thunder god
it a pair Fujin and Raijin
Yes. there’s a nice view on the if  you want can we go? Oh, you can. Yes. Yeah, it’s it’s free. Okay. Yeah. And I saw on
YouTube. It says it’s free and good. Okay.

Join me for a unique and unscripted day in Asakusa, Tokyo! This 2-hour and 30-minute video begins with my solo morning journey on the Ginza line, arriving at an almost-empty Asakusa Station. I start by experiencing the morning calm of the iconic *Kaminarimon Gate* , Nakamise Street, and the majestic *Sensō-ji Temple* before the crowds arrive. My day takes an unexpected turn with a bad fortune slip from the temple’s Omikuji—a funny start to a memorable day!

The adventure truly begins when I meet a French traveler at the temple. Our spontaneous conversation evolves into a shared tour, as I offer a local’s perspective while she shares her first impressions of Japan. We walk through the now-bustling Sensō-ji grounds, where she gets her own *Goshuin* stamp as a souvenir.

We then venture into Asakusa’s quieter side streets, discovering the authentic local life that many tourists miss. We see an energetic Jinrikisha guide in action, passionately explaining the town to his tourists and helping them take photos. Our mid-morning hunt for a snack leads us back to Nakamise Street, where we finally get some fresh *Ningyō-yaki* and a warm *Melon Pan* to enjoy during a well-deserved break.

The video concludes with a spectacular view from the top of the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center. We get a stunning panoramic shot of the *Tokyo Sky Tree* and an incredible high-angle view of our entire route, from Kaminarimon all the way to Sensō-ji.

This video is about more than just landmarks; it’s a shared experience of two people from different worlds connecting through a shared passion for travel and culture.
