Exploring Alanya, Türkiye 🇹🇷 | Street Walk Tour & Hidden Gems

Hi guys, welcome back to Shadow Wagwan Tours. We’re here in Atlanta, Turkey. Let’s have a little look around. So yeah, all the tops here 9 £9.99. So it’s a 10. What’s the 99 about? Will he find us? What’s the 99 about? What’s the 99 about? Eh, just put a 10. What’s a penny? What is a penny? They’re not going to give it back in the UK, is it? Is it? Oh, perfume is €2 for perfumes. It’s not perfume. No, no, it’s obviously made from piss and all sorts. It’s not made. If you’ve um Sabrina said it’s not, if you’ve ever researched fake perfumes and seen what they put into them, Yes. you’ll see sometimes You see, sometimes it’s piss. They put all sorts of stuff in them things. Maybe Sabrina just hasn’t done her research. Maybe Sabrina doesn’t want mood. Don’t wear that stuff then if you don’t want to. I suggest buying real perfumes. You can get the the ones that are just like I get them in the UK on eBay and Amazon. They smell like and that’s what you look for. Smells like that way. You’re getting same thing but it’s actually real perfume. But yeah, the dodgy perfumes. I wouldn’t put it on my body. Where was it made? here by the regulations. So we come up to the Gallion Hotel. Lots of bars in there. Yeah. The happy hours buy one get one free. One prize for everything. Oh, look. They got all their meals out here. Bit dated. Repaint them. It’s the gallion. Anyway, come get your trims.€ 10 bags. That’s the right price, I think, for them to be fair. When you see them more than that, I think it’s probably a little bit much because the unless you’re getting really good. Just trying to get in front of these people as we’re walking right behind him. Got to be careful out here. The floors just go everywhere. Oh, it’s a Burger King. Yeah. So yeah, more shops. It’s crazy how they all survive. T-shirts five there. Guys, you see this gas price here? That’s £11 for gas for a liter. What’s that, honey? 140. So, we’re paying 40p more for gas. And they’re charging us like a million pounds to get on buses and coaches and trains. It’s called ripoff Britain for a reason. Do you think we just went 4 hours? I mean, it cost us about 10 or each. That’s about 10 each. Six quid on the first bus. So, on the last bus was 6 quid each to get here. 4 hour bus. 3hour bus it was. And then the first one was an hour which cost us two. So, that’s 8 quid. 8 quid. 4 hours. Imagine that. 8 quid, four hours. I mean, where you going to travel in England for 4 hours? You could get all that to Liverpool. You can go so far that’s going to cost you enough on the coach. So, why is it so expensive in England? And it’s only 40p more for fuel cuz they’re ripoffs. Same for the taxes as well cuz what is it like a from the airport? How long was it? And we paid £40. Yeah. For that wasn’t a taxi. No, it was private transfer. Private transfer. In the UK would have been that price. It would have been a lot more. Private transfers in UK cost a lot of money. Yeah. Yeah, look at that bus. Quite a cool bus. And you got the mez there. Meza grill across the road. Big love heart. I think I’m Turkish. I’ve got a beard. I blend in. If you see one of the other videos, the guy saw me the other day. He said, “You could be Turkish, you could be Spanish, you could be Italian, you could be South American, Brazilian, could be anything. I can blend in in Europe.” Struggle to blend in at home, though. still get where are you from when I’m in the UK? I’m obviously English cuz I speak English. Three t-shirts, 10. That’s good. Yeah, very good prices. So, yeah, I got asked that not so long ago. Chatting with a guy. I was playing pool with him. He turned around to me and said to me, “Where are you from?” I said to him, “Listen, I’ve been speaking to you for half an hour in my English voice. Where do you think I’m from? [Applause] If someone’s speaking to you in English and they got a Jordi accent, I’m guessing they’re going to be from Liverpool. But you do get Well, that’s it. But they got a Newcastle accent and they’re chatting to you, they’re probably going to be from Newcastle. The color of their skin is irrelevant, but we’ve lived with that all our lives. Always been asked that question. Where are you from? And in the summer. In the winter. I’m quite white, so don’t really get asked that in the winter. It’s always the summer. Kirk. I do need a phone case though. Actually, my phone case is left. Still haven’t upgraded my phone. It’s getting quite dark now as well. I have to switch you guys over to night mode on the next one. I think McDonald’s. [Music] Nice [Music] girls up there. If you guys can see them [Music] address passage in there. I know that’s how to say I’m coming up to address. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Old rose sellers. I’m not that romantic. Not for the prices they charge. Let’s go around to a bush and pick a nice rose. So, pound has gone down. It was 54. couple of weeks ago. Now it’s gone down. Look at this. Perfect. 130 for a beer. It’s like one pound two pound 202. I don’t think I’ve ever cable cars taking you up to the top of the mountain. This is really big street. Yeah, this is a really big place. It’s not small. Mr. C. Okay. Is it going to be actually a Korean restaurant? No, it’s Korean, but there ain’t no Koreans working there. I’m not really fond of cuisine that’s not cooked by the original people. Always find it’s quite bland. We was in Mammus and we went Taj Mahal. Band. Everyone’s saying it’s really good. Maybe they’re being paid to say that. But I’ll tell you the truth, it was bland. [Music] Been to so many places, ate so many Indians, and uh my favorite Indian restaurant is in Abbeera. And obviously, it wasn’t a Portuguese guy cooking the food. They got plenty of Indian people living there. There’s plenty of Indian people living here or come here on holiday. Yeah, lot of the Irish bars here. Sushi is also in Albafer as well. That’s correct. Is sushi is Yeah, sushi. Our favorite sushi. Abafer has a lot of our favorite restaurants to be fair and we’ve traveled quite a lot of places. Last year we traveled to 18 15 destinations in space of 14 days I think. No, eight days and we ate in many different places throughout the southern Spain, Costa del Soul, Gibralta and uh Abraa. We didn’t actually document when we went to Seville. We had a bit of a lunch there, but yeah, I like it when you’ve got authentic again. Don’t much authenticity out here. just more more of culture vultures if that’s the right word. But guys, thank you for watching this one. This one’s a bit more longer and uh we’ll catch you on the next one.
