EPIC FRANCE Le Pont Transbordeur Rochefort Motorhome Tour

[Music] Mo Hotel Adventures, Bonjour, France. We So, we’ve just left St. Vincent and we’re just running, we’re just commenting the fact that we were riding along adjacent to this road yesterday, not that far away. probably other side of the houses on the right hand side cuz there’s the water tower that we could see in the distance up ahead. There’s the that’s the campsite in the sort of like it’s like a holiday holiday park holiday park. They water slides and everything in there, didn’t they? So, we were just wondering whether the road is going to take us down. And uh well I think it’s going to I think this is the road on down. There we go. We’re we were over the well over there on the right. Yeah. There’s the water tower in the distance where we sort of went through like a forest. All of a sudden it become brighter then, didn’t it? It was just sort of looking a bit brighter. It was really gray last night. There is the water tower we were taking photos of yesterday in the wind turbines in the distance from right over there. Going to go right by it. Yeah. Oh, this is Longyville Samura. So that’s where we went down on the way back. We went down to the beach. Yeah. End the roundabout. Take the third exit. Inter the opposite way now. Look, there’s yards. Turn lefty summer down that one. Keep left on the main road after60 yards. Then take the next right. Keep left on the main road. Then take the next right. Take the next right. All directions. That’ll do us then. We’re heading towards Royanne and hopefully it’s not going to be too rough on the ferry there. Oh, is that an old Peugeot? Looks like a Puerto We following you, buddy. Yeah, we’re following you. Yeah. No indication. Has it got indicators on it? They come out the side. Oh, it’s got brake lights. knife. All directions we’re going. That was Luke, by the way. is 380 y the industrial side of Lukon. Second exit. Anybody that hadn’t been down to the Vond region, this is like typical of the landscape and the area. Super flat. Epic views right across open landscape. It’s a little bit blustery today coming off the Atlantic, the wind, but you can see it. The cattle grazing. There’s all loads of like bird wildlife in these fields because it’s so close and uh low sea level. And anybody that has been down here, you’ll recognize it straight away. The von [Laughter] [Music] Nothing is untrue. Nothing don’t matter. It’s all looking a bit damp and dismal on the outskirts of Lar Roelle today. It’s quite humid. 20° so it’s still pretty warm. So hopefully we can get clear of this gray weather. Yeah, it’s quite quite a short run on and they he he wanted to get off as well. So, it’s not easy. Just got to uh Sunday today, so it’s a little bit busier on the roads down this neck of the weather’s a certainly a far cry from when we were tearing down here on about 30° on Ollie Davidson’s on this bit of road trying to keep up. We met some guys in the Lishelle Oley Davidson. We were looking for like some camping and uh the guys there said uh we will take you to the camping and yeah so we ended up trying to keep up with uh one of the guys called Vivi out to the camping along this road. He knew the campsite owner and the we ended up getting to the campsite and spent most of the afternoon drinking beer with these guys and put our tents up about 8:00 at night. But uh it was good memories. There’s the sign for Fort Buyard. [Music] There’s definitely a lot of campers down here. There’s a lot of French on the road today. There would be something there. But um camper other side camper flag near the sea again. I think we might just go to Royale and stay this side of the ferry tonight and then maybe catch a ferry tomorrow because it’s just we’re not getting clear of this rain today. There’s a sign Rush for and I do. Yeah, we still got like the island of Ilon. Yeah. Um cuz that’s where the boyard is in the little vicinity where you go over the bridge. You can see the four out there on the water. We’re 1 hour 30. [Music] The wings of us like a we fly caught in burning fire [Music] and the sun. So, I just come through Rush Fort and uh I’m just getting ready cuz this is the transporter bridge. Remember the transporter bridge? We came down here on the way to Spain and I wanted to come and have a look. Go over this bridge. Check out the transporter bridge once again. in our hearts and realize in the power of love will guide us safe to shore. Safe to show [Music] So this time we had to come down and get a better view I think it was that time of day. Let’s take a look. That was the bridge we’ve just come across over there. [Applause] They got a nice wooden boardwalk here. You can just like walk out on, get some great views. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] prepare to go out the roundabout after half a mile. Oh, look at that sculpture in the middle. Opening the oyster. Take the second exit. So, we got 11 km to Royanne and we’re still trying to shake off this like drizzle and it just isn’t happening today. Tomorrow, maybe tomorrow. So, that’s why we’re just making the best of a little travel day, having a little rest. taking in the scenery. So this is Royanne Jaffy. What does that mean? Oh, that was roundabout taking the second exit. That was a little place that was in between. Jaffy was in between. I did say it and thought, is it Jaffy or Joffy? But, uh, we’re heading towards take the second exit. Oh, yeah. Now, let’s get in there. We’re just doing 200 y. We’re just doing another hero around the roundabout. Um, so that’s the road I’ve just come down that. And the next road I was actually thinking about La Pal Maria Zoo. So it’s on that sign right and we are going to this one. And we’re going to the crossing. Yeah, I was just thinking about the um the zoo up the Palmer Maria where we went past 390 yon take the third exit and there was drafts looking over the fence. Who needs to go out to Africa and see his giraffe? Yeah, you can see him at La Maria. They’re trying. I think they were trying to get down on the beach to be honest. They were stretching their necks thinking, “Oh, look at that lovely beach.” Right, where are we to? Right, we’re going to get in into Royana. Take the third exit on a bit of a damp Sunday. Although the temperature is warm now, is it? I’m just going to put down the window actually because it’s uh 170 y 20 21°. Take the next right. Okay. Well, we’ve only got 1.6 to do. I thought I was actually going to go around from the the seafront. Um, but it’s probably going to take me down through the cuz it was up the end of the town. I remember it. And I remember rocking up there the particular time we went there before and I didn’t stay there because I sort of almost didn’t like the look of it. It was in the summer and I wanted to I pictured something totally different to what so but I think we’re just going to go for it today cuz on a wet day it doesn’t really make a lot of difference when the sun’s shining. You sort of want to be beside the beach a little bit more. Although this is beside the beach admittedly. Let’s take another look. That’s lovely. Isn’t it lovely? That is building. Wow. 1.1 to go. Look at this building though on the right. Look at this. Yeah. Got the window. The doors open up top. Look. Lovely blue pastel colors on the windows. Oh, it’s lovely. And that one. Look. Look at that. Ah, this is it. Now I remember this roundabout. We’re Yeah, within uh 3 minutes now. Enter the roundabout. Take Yeah, we we came in from the beach direction. French bulldog on the on the street of Royale. He’s having a refusal. How we doing that way? Not bad. Not bad. Right. Okay. Take the third exit. Right around on that sign up there. Here the station camping car after90 y enter the roundabout and take the first exit. Take the first exit. There it is. Down here, I think. Um, yeah, I remember. It wasn’t that long ago. We actually 300 y turn left. Did this Take the next left. Oh, train track by the station. Here we go then. In this one, you arrive at your destination after 250 y. All right. Thank you very much. That’s enough for you today. There it is. Okay. going to bang that one. Okay, so this is it today then. And here we go. We’re in. Okay. Right. Let me see what Caroline’s doing. Level. Right. Well, let’s have a little look. There’s down here. I’ll tell you what. Yeah. Okay. Cuz that’s quite leveled up. Yeah. There. That’s not bad. That’s not bad back there, actually. Let’s go on round. Hello. That I recognize that motor. Who’s that? That’s John, isn’t it? That’s Mark. Mark and S. How mad is that? Are they in there? I don’t know. Well, you can’t you can’t ride it really, can you? You can’t really get on, mate. Hello. I’ve um I’ve just left my camera running. Uh you can’t you can’t write that sort of stuff, can you? No, you can’t it. Well, I’ll just press a button and um Yeah.
