It’s uh going too fast. Tina Benfield, Richard Moore. It’s It is always decaffeinated. She She doesn’t remember. It’s it’s uh it’s it’s something that I order automatically. It’s uh it’s decaffeinated. Big Mac. Uh contact departures. Good day. Uh Goldilocks Dandere 146 Andy Fishlock and right Katherine Apps. Interesting um interesting uh development um regarding the Malaysian A380 that was taken out of storage at Tabs. um had been doing some flight tests um quite significant ones as well um and then went um flew to Abu Dhabi um which initial um reports were or or or you know um speculation was that it had gone to Etihad. Um, and I said, um, I I just put a note in there to say, well, to be honest with you, it’s more than likely that I doubt very much that Etihad would put one into service in terms of, you know, having to strip the cabin out. Um, and and and and you know, put all new seats in it, new first that would just cost millions. And also, not only that, but they would they would need to um give her a full lick of paint as well. So really the whole idea of um Eti had putting that 380 into service was a little bit um sort of like you know far-fetched. So my my take on it was that um that they would be they purchased it for um for strip down i.e. um spares engine engines parts etc etc. Um, don’t worry about scratching me van with that lot, mate. I don’t care. Um, and uh, however, yesterday it um, hold on a minute. It’s um, it was later reported that um, Airbus have taken it. The reason why it’s gone to Abu Dhabi is for maintenance. Uh well, we’ve gone to their maintenance section and perhaps more maintenance because obviously at Tabs, I don’t think they have the maintenance capabilities in Tabs. So, they’ve taken it to Abu Dhabi for um for for for maintenance for further maintenance and then she’s going to be she’s been bought back, believe it or not. uh how how the whole arrangement has worked in terms of the financials and the lease and all that kind of thing, the contractual uh situation, but um she’s gone back to Airbus. Uh she’s going to be delivered to Tulus and used as an engine test bed amongst other things. Um you know um uh you know testing basically uh which is great news because that means there’s now two A380s going to be up to lose. So, we’re waiting on that to see what um what transpires with that. So, that’s an interesting bit of A380 news that was quickly um um debunked in terms of it going back to Etihad or going to Etihad, but she’s basically sat at carves for um well, since COVID, I think uh Malaysian got rid of all of their A380s. Just crazy, isn’t it? All in one go. Oh, Bluetooth. Thank you, Pico 7. Thank you, Pico 7. My apologies. I need to remember to do that every time, man. Could you hear all of that? Jam Stannon moved to Stains, moved from Stains to Corn 35 years ago. I didn’t think the same is back then looking forward. Yes, there we go. Imagine I’m at stain sainsburries. Joe Jet, are you doing a store open? Oh, what at sainsburries? Yeah, cutting the pink T. It’s a bit late for that, isn’t it? We heard it from the bottom of the bin. Petronola Ford. Thank you, Gina Graham. Thinking about doing something a little bit different tomorrow, folks. Not going to say what it is, but um just a little bit um something a little bit uh out of the ordinary in terms of the midweek show. Big trolley TV arrow. Yeah. So, what else have we got? Um are in the house. Um Jules Aaris. Uh Tony McCall. We haven’t binned it. It’s just that um I don’t know. Oh, I I I don’t know if it if it would maybe be a little bit um detrimental to the main channel and also um um yeah, I’m I’m not 100% sure about that, uh Tony, but you know, I don’t want people to miss I think that’s the main reason why I said to Jillian, she said, “Yeah, but you got 5,000 members on there and or 5,000 subscribers on there.” And I’m like, “Yeah, but they’re all subscribers on Big Jet TV.” And and when I when we put something up on Big Jet TV, it it goes out to a wider audience if we put something on the on the um extra channel. And I know, fair enough, it would um it would grow in time, but I don’t know if I can be bothered to wait that long. I just want it to go out to everyone. I don’t want anyone to miss what we’re what we’re doing. Um, Simon Bigolf, transport in Kent, Misadventures, Graham C09’s or two sevens tomorrow. Oh, I don’t know. You tell me, Graeme. Uh, Theo, much clearer audio. Thank you, Bob Shiaoy. Roseanne Green, Avro Arrow, your phone against the fence somewhere. No. Aiden Campbell’s in room 747 at the HGI. There we go. Um what are we looking at tomorrow for um it’s just like that for the um foreseeable future as well. Will you be having the Friday night live shows back? Live sim shows but miss the Friday news round up shows Gary Bes. It’s a difficult one. Always trying to find the right um the right uh um mix of what we do. people like the Sim show, but we are bringing back on air. Um, and that is going to be uh we were looking at doing it weekly, but now we’re kind of thinking about doing it monthly with a sort of like update of what happened this month in terms of looking back at um the show schedule and anything that’s happened uh during those shows, etc. you guys getting involved, letting us know about particular things that happened during those shows, etc., etc. Tony McCall looks like nines tomorrow. No catch the pigeon. Jin is bloody doing the supposed to be getting the coffees. Oh, here we go. But I’m blocking this fell in, aren’t I? Okay, let me see if I can There’s no one behind me, is there? Let’s just see if we can let him in. Yeah, you’re not going to make it with that big old L, mate. You ain’t going to You ain’t going to make that. You’re going to block me in, son. So, Limey, that was a bit of a wait, was it? Mate, I ain’t going to get out. Should just about make it out. Right. Okay. People saying 09’s tomorrow, but I’m seeing I’m seeing two sevens all day, mate. What is that? Am I Am I missing something here or uh yeah, northwesterly all day. Um, if you go far as Sunday, it’s going to be Easter again by Sunday. Won’t be 0 or 9 tomorrow. Not according to the Met Office. Okay. Come. [Music] Huh? No, it’s just someone on chat, that’s all. Broadswing Jerry by right. Okay. Just someone in the chat. Oh, actually should we just go this way for for a change cover all basis with regards to uh connectivity. Got an interesting email yesterday folks. Can’t say who it was from, but um another project in the pipeline potentially. [Music] Paul Skilly’s wearing his new blueprint 747 shirt. So yeah, I can’t get to any filters. I can’t get to any interesting. Um did a brief flight this morning. Heathro to Birmingham. Um told me to um yeah I I don’t know whether I’ve done something wrong there. I think it it it went out of manage mode for altitude. Uh um is that because I appro I I I I selected the approach too quick too early or uh would that be Okay, [Music] Ignore me about zero lines at the map wrong way around. Tony says, “Oh, [Music] it’s it’s doable, isn’t it? It’s doable. It’s easily done.” Oh, so you didn’t go into advanced settings and do anything then. Oh, didn’t do what what didn’t I do? Access it. Oh, it’s it’s it’s horrible full screen again. I can’t There’s There’s nothing there. Description. Oh, I hate you. Oh, what’s this? Is this a new thing? Is this a new thing? Said hi. Uh, relatively new. Yeah, it comes up with a thing saying say hi and you click it and it say it comes up on chat saying say hi which is like no said hi. Yeah, it comes up with a thing saying say hi and you click it and it’s it says hi in a wavy hand. That red plate by the way folks that’s a that’s a a trade plate. That’s kind of what exactly what we talked about when we’ve been to um to lose and we see um an aircraft with a with a registration on it that it from what you see is linked you know to another aircraft but basically it’s a trade p plate that plate that you see in there. So they can take that plate and put it on any vehicle, any vehicle um they want to um within a certain um bracket. Uh but it just allows them to deliver a car, take it out on a test drive or anything like that. And obviously the regge of the um of the aircraft has to have a registration linked to it in some way. uh whether it’s a test aircraft or a uh or um or a demonstrator or whatever it might be. Um let’s just go over here like that. There like that. Oh my god. [Music] Am I able to go in and change the settings? No. Once you’ve got that, you can’t do it. Oh, okay. I used to be able to do it on my phone. What is it I’m supposed to do when I when when I when I do it then so I remember for the next time as well as doing the Bluetooth settings and turn off the reaction thing. Oh, okay. I also need to put subscribe on the channel. Oh, okay. Very fire. Oh, chunky tuna. I can do it now to your studio, right? And then what would happen then? Star Alliance A330. Is that Iberia maybe? Or uh Interesting. Hey, Canada. Air Canada, I think. What’s that now? [Music] Oh, Delta. Good job. Uh, give me a bit of credit. give me a bit of credit. I asked Jill to and I also edited it with the big wheels. I asked her to change the wheels to big wheels and have me hanging out the window and all that. Yeah. You made it. You made it. But I I gave you the ingredients. True. Which takes no talent. Well, it does. It’s imagination. If I hadn’t have done that, you wouldn’t have done it like that. The first first version you gave me was like No, the first version what we used was an old one actually. It’s actually what I made years and years years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [Music] Right. There’s T5 right ahead of you folks. [Music] So 27 right arrivals. What country is this? Blimey. Really? [Music] You got to go in, right? You got to turn the leaderboard off, right? I thought that was all automatically turned off. No, it’s not all automatically turned off. It’s all automatically turned on, right? I when we’re live like normally. Yeah. I have only settings that are duplicate each time so I don’t have to go through it and do it every time. But these these are from the phone. It’s not the same. It doesn’t go to the same anyway. Whatever. Um it should it should all just change. That heart should disappear. Okay, it has. There’s no heart there. There we go then. A that is the result. That Serbian jet needs to get off the bleeding runway. He’s off. [Music] Is the pod. I’ve got a silver machine. [Music] Joe Jet, you got it. Theo. So yeah, interesting um development with that Malaysian ex Malaysian 380 which has um thankfully found a new home. Going to be testing for Airbus. This This should be on the extra channel. I know that’s what people Oh, was it driving? Oh, okay. Right, right, right. Yeah. have 760 people watching right now. Why not? Why wouldn’t we? Because it hasn’t got as big a reach as the main channel. Oh Jesus. Okay. Well, we’ll the extra channel next time then. Right. Live streaming. Okay. It’s subs are irrelevant, right? No, I know that. But I’m just saying the that the the established that the channel is more established on the main channel, is it? Well, we’ve got nearly 8,000 people on the extra channel, right? But they’re all the same subs as on here. Yeah. 99.99% know that. You don’t know that. But what I’m saying is it doesn’t matter. It we don’t have as many subs on that channel or as big a reach. Doesn’t matter, right? [Music] The people that want to watch the road trips have already sub to it. Yeah. And you’re still going to the live stream now. Okay. So, you got 870 people watching this now? Yeah. You’re saying that we have no different. It’d be no different. It’d be no different. No, no different. That’s the purpose of the channel. Extra. Read all about it. Okay. Well, I’m willing to try it. There’s somebody coming on there. Kim, are you streaming departures today? No, no, no, no. We’re not live today. People are thinking we’re live today on like Yeah, that’s true. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. Very true. It can be confusing. I get it. Is our friends now completing bank? Yeah. I have done October. Best of October, Bob, because I don’t know what’s happening to be honest. Well, we kind of do, don’t we? No, we don’t. Well, Atlantis. Yeah, but what dates were I booked it at? Well, we did. You tested it the other. You said there was only one availability. Yeah, and I tried it and it Oh, you So, you haven’t car You haven’t followed it up. Oh my god. You were there, Jerry. I tried to pay for it like five times. There was a problem with the British Airways website. Yeah, but there wasn’t a problem. possibly a problem with it yesterday. What? What? Why? How am I meant to do it without you? Well, I was around. Well, that was the point. We were meant to do it yesterday. Yeah, but you could do it. Tell me, send me a text or phone me and say, “Right, I’m doing the blah blah.” God. Okay. So, we need to follow. We need to do that then. We need to do that. Okay. Well, we might have We might have No, man. No, man. You’re the one that books everything. Don’t blame me. I’m saying I’m supposed to remember as well. No, I’m saying not saying wi without me. I’m saying phone me or message me. What are we doing about Atlanta then? [Music] Oh my god. Anyway, I said on Sunday the things to do on Monday was that last one. we need to work on there what images we’re going to use for the calendar. [Music] But the conversation yesterday got taken over by other things, didn’t it? That I was also doing a lot of research on I know. [Music] So, I thought what we’d do is we take a little trip up to ARD cuz we haven’t been for a long time, have we? So, you see here we go. That this is the first time hearing a bit. What? Taking a trip to AR. You’ve just said that. What? That’s what we’re doing. I had no idea. Oh, okay. Well, no idea. Well, first you mention of it. All right. Well, [Music] what’s that got to do with the price of Well, yeah, but we’re going on a road trip. Doesn’t matter where we’re going, does it? Does it Does it is that is that messing with your schedule then? If we we’re going to ARD and not doing something else. about you thinking you said or assuming [Music] not yet catch the pigeon. I mentioned it the other day that we’re doing it at the end of the month on the on air show. We’re going to gather all the post together in one in one go. We’re going to do milestones as well, member milestones. We’re going to do um catch up on the news and also um uh a synopsis of the month. So, if there’s any I’ve mentioned this many many times before and no one as of yet has not even one person has managed to uh send any recommendations, but um if you’ve got a favorite moment or if you’ve got a moment from a particular show, am I going to make that line now? If you’ve got a moment from a particular show, then write it down and then at the end of the month when we do on air, um, bring it up and we’ll go and find it and, um, blah blah blah. [Music] The last thing you said to me when I got out to go and get the coffees, Yeah. was, I’ve been thinking about tomorrow and then that was it. Yes, I have been thinking. And I told everybody as well, I’m thinking of doing something a little bit different tomorrow. I have no idea. Do you Well, no, that’s because it’s fresh in my mind. Okay. About what I’m thinking about, but I can’t say it, can I? Cuz Well, you said you said you told about doing something a little bit different tomorrow. But it really does depend on certain factors and things like that. [Music] Wow. Is that a big crash that’s happened over there? Look. Blimey O’Reilly. Look at all the wreckage. Yeah, man. It’s a terrible junction this man. People come hammering across. It’s not a terrible junction. There’s terrible driving. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Blimey. That’s the end of someone’s motor, in it. Look at the state of that. Bits and bobs everywhere. Hang on, mate. Now, look at this idiot here. It’s called merging, mate. It’s called merging. Really? [Music] Me. [Music] Okay. you want if you’re if you’re new to uh Big Jet TV folks or if you’re if you’ve never been on one of our uh trips to aviation retail direct, I would say the UK’s most um well-known model store. Is that the right word to use? One down, 747 to go. Brian Air the Irish fell. Oh, you can’t you can’t know. Look you can’t scroll up, can you? You can’t scroll the chat. That’s really hard. It disappears from people on it. Look. Yeah. the boss of Ryan Air Oiri wouldn’t it um saying that um Whiz Air is likely to go bust and they’re suffering terribly with their A3 20 CFM um sorry not CFM the uh gear turbo fan engines the Pratt pointy gear t it’s a constant thing I’m mentioning that isn’t it um lovely smell of tarmac there someone doing a flat roof or something like that. Um anyway um yeah the uh Olyri saying obviously he’s the boss of Ryan Air he said that lowcost carriers are uh are struggling because they are basically although they’re known as lowcost carriers they’re not um they’re not actually providing much lowcost opportunities for he says that jet could potentially get swallowed up and bought out. Um, for example, Gatwick, um, British Airways might take their their their their um their roots, but that’s crazy. I don’t think old Matey would be very happy to hear that, would he? old um Stallios or whatever his name, Stavros or um yeah, I don’t think he’s going to be very happy to hear Oi saying that about his airline, but it is what it is. He’s a very he’s a very um knowledgeable man. Obviously does his research and is it kept up to date, watches and looks at the at the numbers all the time. Um but uh yeah, interesting. Who’s just bought new nine new planes? What? Stallios easy jet. Yeah, that’s what that’s what I’m um confused about. Uh I don’t um I don’t see them having any issues whatsoever. That’s the That’s the first time, I’ll be honest with you, throughout EasyJet’s entire life um including CO uh that I’ve heard that they are struggling or that they’re that that they’re likely to go uh into some kind of St. J anymore, has he? He does the bleach now, doesn’t he? He’s got numerous problems. Well, they say, “Oh, Larry.” Okay. Bought new. [Music] Oh. Oh, Li’s bought a bunch of new planes. Yeah. Well, I think that’s what they mean. It’s constantly delivered and stuff like that. But, but but um but yeah, right. And they’re struggling because of the Max deliveries. Boeing I’m hearing have been are slowly but surely. Uh also TR the trip 79 tests um the test stages TIA I think it is um the the um there used to only be one and now there’s like four or five TAs for uh for certifying aircraft um new aircraft with the FAA. And I think that that’s why Boeing is struggling so much because obviously with the issues that they’ve had um over the years um the FAA are um are obviously being very very careful with um certifications and stuff like that because at the end of the day ultimately they’re responsible for signing off uh a particular type and um if that type were to um go down in flames for example in the on you know on within a year or something like that or kind of like what the Max did not go down in flames but have major issues um they wouldn’t be looked very likely on is that [Music] favorably. So, yeah. And somebody saying the other day, I don’t know, I’ I’ve not seen any um evidence of this yet, but apparently uh the the 79 program being delayed even more um through to 2027. But that doesn’t surprise me. I got to be honest with you, that doesn’t surprise me at all. I I I I I don’t think that um I don’t think we’re going to see the trip 79 in operational service before 2027. Um but that’s my oh what are you doing, woman? Why why did you do that? You know, okay. All right. Go on then. Go on then. Well done. Well done. You made up one place, haven’t you? Now you got yourself all in a te. It’s easy cinemas. Is there such a thing? I don’t know. I didn’t know there were cinemas. I know there’s old kinds of stuff, but I didn’t know. Surprised he hasn’t done the dust bin rounds. Easy dust spins. I’ve got so I’ll tell you what I’ll do. Uh I’m going to go around. Yeah, but Birmingham um John Birmingham was nothing to do with Boeing per se. It was the it was the engine and it was pilot error as well. Shut the wrong engine down. So that that can’t be put down as a Boeing incident. Even though it was a Boeing aircraft, you can’t point that directly at Boeing. It was more a technical issue with the engine and the pilot shut the wrong engine down. So, could have been on an Airbus, could have been on anything. Um, it just uh pilot error. [Music] Well, that’s a that’s a that’s an interesting point. Um, yeah, I I I read that as well about Oly. Oh, look at that. Look at the parking there. Look. Am I going to make it in any of those? None of them. Oh. Yeah. Here we go. Look. Good point out. [Music] So, are we going to are we going to try and see what the um range is like on the on the fingong then jelly? Is that worth trying? You what? We’ll have to. So, basically, you just keep and go there. If it drops off, it’s going to jump on your 5G. Okay. But there might be a glitch. I’ll keep an eye on it. All right. Okay. So, Now coffee. Um Neil Guy, big up the Hillington crew. Fat boy twin. I can’t see Ryan go and see 9119. It was him stone a pot. Yeah, absolutely. Fat boy twin 100%. It would never that that’s never going to happen. And not only that, but um the the 919, they’re talking about like having six made a year or something crazy like that. Like licorice Shepherd. Can we see the cat today? Oh, we don’t know. There was a bit of a fallout, wasn’t there? Yeah. It wasn’t so much the owner. It was the It was the owner’s daughter. Yeah. Got a bit Nancy, didn’t she? Yeah. Yeah, it got weird about her um coming down there all the time and then them thinking that um that they were feeding her when they I mean they might give her a couple of crunches but you know feed feeder but not feed feeding like like you know there’s there’s like a fish and chip shop down there, a cafe, a bakery. If your cat’s fat there’s there’s a few reasons why and it’s not a model shop. Yeah, but I don’t think a cat would eat a They go in the a donut or No, they don’t go on the D bins, man. Yes, they do. They eat a donut. Yeah, man. Never. Not in a million years would a cat eat a donut. Well, my cats have eaten donuts. Your cats will eat anything, man. Well, there you just made my point. And they won’t. Um, Kiki and uh, Peppa like donuts. Dexter probably does as well cuz they’re all in Gish. Andy Fishlock picked up an ATR1400 scale at the weekend. Best job for models. There we go. Picked up a 1400 scale ATR. Wow. Cool. And you know, even the even those 1400 scales are very very detailed. Fish and chip shop, by the way. fish. A fish donut. One of us like digestive biscuits. Hairball it up. Point being funny about her going in there because they say she’s fat because they feed them when they don’t feed them. She’s fat because she likes food and there’s plenty of opportunities outside the aircraft bottle shop. Yeah. They just got jealous because she likes going down there. She likes She likes hanging out down there as well. Yeah, that’s what it is. I’m telling you. Okay, here we go. Yes, they all around the world, do they? They do ship all around the world. Right. Okay, so we’re going into Yeah. And we’ve got the We’ve got the satellite there. We got the Starlink there. I’m walking over there. How fun. Probably would stay connected, but Okay, cuz that gives me another 20 ft, doesn’t it? Let me just try then. You might need to see me in. Excuse me. I think that one would probably be the best. Talking of fish, had a bit of fish for breakfast this morning. Shut up. Shut up. Epic 10 in. [Music] Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. In an ideal world, I’d want it here, but I don’t think I’m going to make that. Oh, and there’s a bloody car behind me. And I’m going to make that either. I’m going to try this one. I’m going to try this one. This is tight, mate. This is going to be really tight. [Music] It’s like tires. Must be tire it. Trying to get out. Bloody hell, man. Okay, it go. Damn it. [Music] Good luck. This is where the seat belt in numbuts. I’m hearing all sorts of funny things that cats like. Potato peelings. Dexter, what video of you? Oh dear. Oh, Lordy. These guys have driven their Volvo all the way from um Finland. Finlandia. The land of Finlandia. It’s nice, isn’t it? Look at that. Straight in here. Hello. Hey. Hey. Hello, Jerry. Hello. Hello, Jerry. Look at that. Took a TU134. Cronian Air Force. That big long radar nose on it. Look at that. How crazy is that? Well, we did have TV screens. Yeah. more than TV, but I could never get the channel in. [Music] Mark’s voice. Mark’s laugh. It’s all right. Is it? When I walked up glitching like that, but I don’t know if that’s my phone. Okay. Well, I’ll go I’ll go I’ll go I’ll have a little walk around. I need I’m still connected to Look at all these 1400s. I don’t know if that’s me walking further away from Look at that. Republic of Air France A330. Look at that. Isn’t that beautiful though? E that Boeing trip 7 in the factory paint. Well, paint factory finish. Lovely. That is it. The test. Oh, look at that. Flew on that. I flew on that. How about that? Look, [Music] I remember that Eti had 321 Neo. Interesting. British West Indian Airlines. West Indies A3 4300 or maybe Yeah, it’s a 300, isn’t it? Geruda. It’s just such a lot of such a a um an eclectic mix, isn’t there? Look at that. Boeing Explorer demonstrator 787. I like that. That’s interesting, isn’t it? Wow. Nice. Seen that being field? I’ve been in that airplane. Can you believe it? The famous Oh my god. The famous handbag story. Wow. Look at that. How crazy is that? Mate, we got all the way back. Everything was in it, man. I I I tried to I I I Oh my. Yeah. It was like It was like leaving It was like leaving my wallet in a car park at Heathro and then realizing it now and having to drive back there and wonder and it was still there, mate. Can you believe it? I can say I kept saying and like the funniest thing I realiz that’s crazy that is it. I don’t know what that’s all about. Oh, look at that. Dire A330 man A300. Sorry. Oh, look at that. Well, the thing is that we were we were so fortunate because Yeah, exactly. Yeah. We were so fortunate because if you can imagine a a public park that’s on the top of a of a of a a mountainous like sort of like a the peak of something and people just walk around it. But there are people who sort of like they might put something down and walk off somewhere else and go and take a photograph. But the thing is that there’s a constant turnaround of people up there. So they come up there, they walk around and then they go. They might stand there and look out and take some photographs, but in general they’re not really looking to see something like that. So I think that’s what why Jilly was lucky because you know there was a lot of people there a lot of people walking around con but if it had have been a bit of a dodgy area or something you know where it where theft was like like there was lots of hike it’s a hiking trail. Yeah. lovely people as well, you know, nice nice people, you know. I was just so lucky. I think if you’re out in the countryside in most places, it’s very different. A300. Yeah. Yeah. I got I corrected myself very quickly. Pap. Yeah. A300. About that. Yeah. Well, yeah. Now, what engines are those? He said there was a Ranger there and I was like, “Oh, okay.” The old 737 Dan S37 NG in it. Um and uh I saw um I saw a program the other day, saw 737 uh British Airways 737s at Gatwick. How about that? Look at that. Air India A320 one. No A320 Neo when I was I got to I got to stop breath and then I’m like through the grass I see something that feeling quite mast Look at that. I remember them. Look at that. Is there a Britannia 757? I’m pretty sure there is. You know, there’s a British 757. Right. Look at that. Isn’t that lovely? In that lovely example, man, with the RBs, there is a Britannia 757 somewhere. Pretty sure there is some a Monach 757. How about that? Look at that lovely old comet. Yeah, probably one of the best probably one of the best um anchorage trips we’ve had to be honest with you. But and that was partially down to the weather. the fact that it was raining. Yeah. Because u when they land when they land the engine reverses. It’s a lot more uh you know aggressive and Yeah. Yeah. I can imagine that. Yeah, and and not only that, but also adiabatic falling or fluff as we call it, floof over the wings as they’re as they’re, you know, cuz the due point and the temperature are very close together. So, you can imagine that on jumbo jets, man. Yeah. And so, so those those conditions are actually perfectly ideal for I I must admit that when when I go to like an air show or whatever, sometimes you kind of wish but a reasonably bright sky but really damp hair. Yeah. that way obviously. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, you need the due point and the temperature to be very close together. So, especially when they make a big a big turn like that, you know, um on the on the, you know, on the flight on the fighter jets, that kind of thing. But, um but yeah, I’m not a big fan of blue skies and sunshine at air shows because it just plays havoc. I’d rather see have a black aircraft silhouetted against a a white cloud. I I tend to be the same. Obviously, you want it a bit dry so you can take some photo. But of course, the other thing is a plain blue sky. As a photographer, any photographer will tell you, it’s boring. Yeah. Oh. Oh, it is. You don’t want white clouds to get away. Yeah, you do. Yeah, you want some cloud. Yeahum because Mark, what’s the deal with this 380 then? What’s that all about? That’s That’s a new freighter. Okay. Right. I’m going to move on from there. Look, there’s no windows in it or anything. Not. Yeah, I know. But that’s the reason why it’s got no windows is because the the transfer. You’re not going to get me, mate. You’re not going to get me. No, it’s it’s the prototype in flight one. Is it? Yeah. Is it really? Wow. I have no idea what they’re talking about cuz we haven’t beaten off. Yeah, it’s the prototype in flight. All those all those are prototypes in I tell you what, she’s got a lovely flexed wing on her, isn’t she? Oh, okay. BAC 1111s as well. Yeah. Wow. [Music] The whole lotto. Oh, everything in here is a is is a prototype. Oh, wow. And that’s because it’s Paul’s inflight. Wow. Love that old A300. Is that Pratt Whitney’s on that A300? A300. That down there 300, isn’t it? Yeah. every day. I don’t know why. Yeah, I like that. So many people just It’s got an X on the engine there cuz there’s obviously a snag on it, I’d imagine. But yeah, looking good, man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, she looks good. I like the flex on the wing. They’ve done that beautifully. So that’s that that needs to be on the ground and not on a stand. that jet. I think it needs to be on the ground because otherwise it looks a bit odd in the air with the wings bent like that. Look at [Music] Look at that. I love that little diarama there. It’s a lovely little diarama, isn’t it? It was um It was who put that together, Jillian. The big fella. The big fella who who put that together on that day. Kelvin. Kelvin. That’s it. Okay. Okay. Well, I I can I can do that. I think on the phone. Oh, man. My um my PDF or whatever it’s called is Yes. Okay, mate. I need Can you just film Can you just hold on and just film this? Yeah, she’s about Okay. Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. So, these is it? Okay, let’s give you a hand. No, this I can see how I can see how this how this is so difficult to do. Jerry. Yeah. Want to see me in the What? I’m a celebrity as well. What’s that? Says hello. Hello. Oh man, I’m making the right picture of this. So, I think I’m just going to leave it for me in the cabinet. Just leave it, Jerry. Just leave it. It’s a bit better. It’s a bit better. Yeah, no problem. Um, yeah. Yeah, it’s got a bit of history in it. Look at that. See, King, see how much better it looks with the gear up. Sorry. See how much it looks better with the gear up even though the wing is is bent downwards due to uh it normally that’s fuel that sort of or just the pure weight of the wing. There are tanks that stretch out that far on the wing but um as you know uh wings on a uh on a jet flex upwards during flight. So that’s why um I prefer it on a stand. with gear up rather than gear down, if you know what I mean, unless it’s configured for landing or configured for takeoff, which it is clearly not. Um, but there we go. This is nice Virgin Atlantic display. I like that. Look at that. Right. Where are we? Hey, some classic old stuff there, man. Nice old home. Day whenever American 727. Imagine having that just on your desk. Just sitting there on your desk. Chief executive Okay. So, there’s my prototype, isn’t it? That’s my prototype. My new uh prototype range, which I’m considering. Uh so, I got to take that out there. The lights have been out for about 3 hours, have they? Yeah. No, it’s just coming to fix. Oh, they had to cut the electrics off. Awax. Look at that. Look at that, man. I mean, look at that early version of that. Very early version of that, but that would have been the equivalent. So, that’s a giant radar uh early warning, I’m guessing. Look at that lovely Britannia, man. My dad flew those Britannia. It’s great, is it? So, do you reckon I buy my amenities kit? I got her favorites last night. Probably not. Neil Guy bought my BA744 1200 scale last Christmas. Beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, I think that is kind of it. Guess who hung that up there? Huh? Hey, look at that. Gone, mate. Gone. 2026 as well. Blime me. Dear. I bet whoever put that together wasn’t thinking that that that airline wouldn’t be operational in 2026. E crazy. Interesting. He said flexed wings like that. Like that. So he said, that looks quite good. That looks quite good, doesn’t it? Oh, okay. So, Heathrow have done this, have they? Fair play to them. Nice. I like that. Lovely. old fashioned. Now that’s the lu answer 100th livery they should have done to be honest with you like that did that A321 look at did a 737 wow look at that 100 Boeing T43A you got flicker on the screen folks oh dear so anyway I had to think about Oh, wow. Look at that. Look at that. Hey, that’s not like a Lego copy. Yeah. No, that’s not Lego, is it? Right. Okay. Right. Um going to stop now folks and um say goodbye. So we will um we’ll be back tomorrow. But just bear in mind that I like I said I might do something different uh tomorrow. Uh and if it is it’ll be early morning as well. So just be on alert for that. And depending on how long we do that for depends on whether we do something else in the afternoon as well. Sorry to be so vague, but it is what it is. Um so thanks everybody for tuning in. Um looks like the old Starink works a treat, doesn’t it? And um we’ll see you uh tomorrow at some point. Just quickly, KTD is a returning member. Welcome back, KTD. Tony McCall, not a military show, mate. Okay, folks. Look after yourselves. We’ll see you tomorrow. Cheers. Bye.

  1. I saw that Dan Air London A 300 in 1982 two days after Lady Diana's wedding live at Malaga airport waiting for our return flight back to Stuttgart. In West Germany there were only airlines from GB, France & USA allowed to fly. Until 1990. For the younger ones among you who are wondering why a British leisure carrier operstes between Stuttgart and Spain at that time.
