The day starts with the crucial step of city registration (Anmeldung) – the key to unlocking life in Germany. Then, I take you on a tour of my new university campus, and we grab an authentic (and affordable!) lunch at the student canteen (Mensa). Of course, there’s time for a little shopping in between before the grand finale: the matriculation ceremony (Immatrikulationsfeier), where I officially become a student of the university!
