Tuzla #drone footage #bosnia

Tuzla is located in the northeastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the slopes of the Majevica mountain, at an average altitude of 239 meters.

The favorable geographical position enables Tuzla to have good connections with other regions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as with neighboring countries, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, and almost equally with the regions of South-Eastern, Central and Western Europe.

Tuzla is connected to the north by road to Županja (Croatia), where it connects to the highway Zagreb – Belgrade, and further to most European travel routes; towards the Adriatic via Sarajevo – Mostar – Jadranska magistrala, as well as by railway towards the port of Ploče (Doboj-Zenica-Sarajevo-Mostar); there are solid road connections to the east and west. Through the ports of Split and Dubrovnik (Croatia), there is a good ferry connection with the Italian Adriatic coast. Via the river Sava, that is, the port in Brčko District (about 60 km from Tuzla), there is a river (freight) traffic connection with the whole of Europe.
