      American marine soldiers are fucking terrible. They rape Japanese girls, murder local people every year. Then, they are always saying we are protecting Japanese. We commite crimes and run away to camp, fly to the states. They become innocent. Nasty.

      The reason for open mouth and closed mouth animal figures in front of the shrines is following:
      The life begins with a scream A (open mouth) and it ends with N (closed mouth).
      That is the same as the japanese alphabet which begins also with A and ends with N

      I moved to Japan, and I miss A&W 😭 I remember eating it at malls with my family it was a restaurant filled with memories for me, I wish they had it here

      Huh most Japanese people don’t like root beer? Huh that’s a shame, they are missing out on root beer floats.
      Then again, they are most likely saying the same thing about me missing out on something from Japan.
      I’m definitely missing out on those plastic fingered gloves.

      Maybe because there are a large minority of american marines sailors and airmen stationed in okinawa that A&W survived…and american culture since the 1940s..

      I always love how frontiers mesh with both countries involved, hokkaido is russian infused and okinawa is super chinese influenced. I wonder how their food is affected too, worth giving a try

      Okinawans should know that your real name is Ryukyu. If you knew your own history, you would understand that the name Okinawa is evidence of Japan's invasion of your territory and massacre of Ryukyuans. Ryukyu does not belong to Japan, it is an independent country
