🇲🇹 The perfect Malta Itinerary!
✅ Save for your future trip to Malta!
1️⃣ Explore Valletta
Malta’s small capital city has a lot to offer. You should visit its museums, churches, and local restaurants. St. Johns’s Co-Cathedral is a must! It’s a great place to walk around on a tour but it does have hills.
2️⃣ Go to Mdina!
You can take a bus, taxi, or ride share from Valletta to see this cute medieval walled city. The city was established by the Phoenicians around 800 BCE but is known for its medieval architecture. Visiting this city is truly like going back in time. Take a tour here, ride the horse drawn carriages, and sit at a rooftop to experience the views.
3️⃣ Take a ferry to Gozo!
Malta’s northern island is only 45 minutes away on a ferry from Valletta. Visit Ggantija Archeological Park to see the world’s oldest standing stone structure built in the Neolithic period. Also check out underground caves on the island while you’re there. This is where you would get the hopper ferry to the Blue Lagoon.
4️⃣ Charter a boat!
A boat is the best way to see all of Malta’s amazing beaches and beautiful colored waters! You can also hire a captain if you don’t feel comfortable going alone. The rental company will tell you all the best places to stop! We went with Big D charter.
