Camper-Horror in Weimar! Polizei, Streit & Stellplatz-Chaos 😳
Come on, get in. We’re off. With Viola and Uwe from Mo. Discover the world, pure freedom. RV travel, our adventure tour. Come on, get in. We’re off with Viola and Uwe, discover the world. Freedom and here, as one might think, finally on stage, Your Majesty, late at night. Of course, next to the responsible schoolmaster, I announce that he’s shaking hands with quite a few people here right now. The first official bite. So that they don’t look angry, I’ll give you a little time to swallow. We’re off with Viola and Uwe from Mo, discover the world. Pure freedom. Where to travel, our adventure tour. Come on, get in. We’re off with Viola and Uwe, the chairman. Discover the world. Pure freedom. RV travel, our adventure tour. Good morning, dear RV friends. Why was the police here at the RV park? We’ll explain what it was about in the course of the video. We’re here in Weimar. It’s October 10th and in Weimar, the Onion Festival is the only, or almost the only, RV park in Weimar. Adjacent to a parking lot in the background. You can see it, we have the motorhome parking space for our views. It’s a disgrace for the city of Weimar to offer such a parking space, but we’ll show you the space briefly so you can see what it’s all about. The parking space costs €12. You can pay here by card or coins, or here using Easy Paar. The parking space is quite full. I counted the 45 spaces. The spaces are not marked, not parceled out. We have electricity here, but we only see eight sockets. The electricity costs 2.46 hours. Yes, that brings us to €8. Electricity costs per 24 hours, that’s extreme. Because nothing is marked, nothing parceled out, some of the motorhomes are parked so close together. We’ve been standing here for three days, standing like this. Someone parked in front of us and was parked sideways. Of course, there are no signs here telling you where you’re supposed to park. Here we can see it. Cables all over the space. It’s a great job. There’s an overrun guard here. By the cable on the site, we also have supply and disposal. We can see the sewage system here. You drive onto it, which is a bit of an unfortunate solution. You have to make sure you can get to it properly and have fresh water and toilet cleaning all in one place. €1, and for €1 you get 5 minutes of water. That means you have to put in €1 here too if you want to flush your toilet. But you can see the greywater disposal here, which is difficult to get to with a motorhome if you drive onto it. A disgrace for Weimar, the European Capital of Culture in 1999. This is our second time here in 15 years. Nothing has changed. Everything is still as it used to be. Yes, the motorhome parking space is also designated as a motorhome and caravan parking space, but judging by the traffic regulations here, it’s purely a motorhome parking space. I’ll show you some of the things we found. Well, we definitely have the so-called toilets and hedges here again. Even though motorhomes are allowed to park independently here and they also have an integrated toilet, people still go into the bushes. Then we find something like this. A cable is laid across a parking space. A piece of metal. If you drive over it, you’ll damage your tire. We don’t really understand it, but you’re welcome to write in the comments what you think about laying the cables across the parking space and, of course, the parking regulations. That’s the problem, why we had the police here last night. I’ll show you again. I’ll also include the photo because there’s someone else there now. The other camper drove off out of understandably bad mood. Motorhome friends, what happened? We’ll definitely show you the photos and videos again. We had the police here. The caravan and trailer had split between two motorhomes that were maintaining their proper distance, leaving a gap of less than 30 cm between them. 20 cm. We checked, but Batu didn’t want to move out of the 20 cm gap either. What was the end of it? The caravan driver insisted on his rights and, of course, wanted to call the police. The motorhome owner, who came from the market, couldn’t really get into his motorhome. As I said, he – it was a panel van – couldn’t open the push button properly. Of course, he couldn’t open it far enough to get the third step out, because otherwise he would have hit the car next door. And the guy with the trailer didn’t want to drive out or away either. He did it peacefully. He knew his way around, he could park his trailer in front of it. He didn’t want to do that either. The end of the story: The law enforcement officers arrived. About an hour later. We’ll show this again in the film. And you’re welcome to write in the comments what you think about cozy camping like this. In my opinion, it’s quite audacious to squeeze in so tightly between two motorhomes that there isn’t even room to open the driver’s or passenger door, and then to insist on your rights and then call the police. The police came and of course asked the motorhome owner, who had already been parked here for two days, to simply move half a meter to the right. This would create more space. There was a lack of understanding between all of us, our campaigners who were here on the site. You are welcome to write in the comments what you think. We see it the same way. Safety distance alone. The rule is one and a half vehicle widths. I understand it’s one vehicle width, but if someone then squeezes in between with their trailer and doesn’t even leave 20 or 30 cm of space for people to get into their vehicle, that’s extremely selfish, and of course they insisted on their rights. The police arrived and, to our knowledge, sorted it out, and they asked the motorhome owner, who had already been parked here for two days, to move half a meter to the right. This meant that the trailer owner could stay put. It should also be said that this is a pure motorhome parking area, and the Weimer Public Order Office had apparently told the sheriffs in advance that trailers were allowed to park here during the onion market. We can’t, you can’t understand that . The traffic signs that we showed you say that only motorhomes are allowed to park here. So the pitch cost the caravan driver €75 more and we see more solidarity among the campers on pitches like this. If the pitch is full, it’s full. Yes, what do you think? Of course we see it the same way as we described it to you, that it’s audacious to squeeze between two motorhomes here. The other campers saw it that way too and that he naturally asserted his rights with aggressiveness. People, what’s going on in the pitch? What’s going on? I can’t understand it. And here in front of us are two panel vans. They both have a toilet on board and go pee in the bushes. What’s that supposed to mean? I, I can’t even understand it. Definitely not anymore. Uh, what, what’s that supposed to mean? And they park all over the place. Maybe someone from the city of Weimar will see this and they can remedy the situation with this campsite soon. Yes, dear motorhome camping friends, that was it for the campsite in Weimar. Of course, the conditions are not so pleasant either. We have the road in the background, you can hear it. It’s noisy. It’s also difficult to sleep here. So, from our point of view, we cannot recommend it. We found one of the worst campsites in Germany. We are considering whether to come back here. We have some better campsites nearby, which we will of course use and drive to. Thank you for watching the video. Just write your opinion below about your opinion on the campsites. Stay healthy. Until then, bye. Come on, get in, we’re off. With Viola and Uwe it will be pure freedom. We will travel on our adventure tour. Come on, get in. We’re off with Viola and Uwe to discover the world. Pure freedom on our adventure tour.

Was meinst du?
