Les calanques marseille

Today, we’re going to Marseille and we’re going to talk about the calanques. Yes, the calanques of Marseille. Which stretch from Marseille to Cassis. In Marseille alone, there are twelve major ones. And outside the city, there are more than twenty. Suffice to say, you have a choice depending on the distance, the time you have available. Accessibility. Because there are some, they ‘re not necessarily easy to access. We went to the En Vau calanque. You can get there by land, by sea, and really, that’s it. It’s about an hour’s drive away. Yes, because at the beginning, you have to go by car. You have to park at the Gaston Rébuffat road parking lot. I’ll put it in the description. There you go, this is some information I’m giving you, you can do what you want with it. And it’s not over yet. There’s still two hours of walking, two fucking hours of hiking. You have to earn this cove. So it’s obviously a very popular spot. You know me. We went there first thing in the morning, early, very early. It was dark. We walked, trudged, we stopped. We freaked out because there were two paths. We didn’t know that. The easy way and the difficult way. And obviously, which one did we take? Well, yeah, I don’t know, we must have missed a sign at some point. And actually, after I don’t know, an hour and a half of walking. We’d gone so far that there was no way we were going back. So, we decided to continue on the difficult way for those who hadn’t guessed. And when I say difficult way, it means at one point, we’re on a fucking cliff. I’m not talking about a slope, a cliff that you have to descend step by step with slippery rock . They put metal hoops to hold on to, to rappel down. So really, if you’re with family, be careful not to take this difficult path. Because really, even we freaked out. We said to ourselves several times shouldn’t we just go back up? But there you go, two hours of driving that are worth it. Mostly of steps. Plus an hour of driving because we’re among the first to arrive. And really, it’s worth the look. There, we saw that we could access it by land. And in the next video that follows, we’ll see how to access it by sea.

Découvrons ensemble les calanques de Marseille. Et plus particulierement celle d’en-Vau.
