Good morning. Good morning and welcome to another adventure with the reads. With the reeds, what today? Embarcation day. Embaration day. Excited? Of course. Of course she is. What a silly question. I know. So, what time are we boarding? She has no idea. 11:45 checkin time. All I know is I’m leaving the hotel at 10:45. Oh, yes. So, we’ve got the car at the hotel. So, we’re driving round to the port terminal. cuz you’ve got uh ABP parking. I don’t know, some sort of parking. Um and where we going to leave our car and aboard the ship. So, uh hopefully you’ve watched our travel down day vlog and hopefully you carry on follow me. Yeah. Going to see the ship behind us just there and that. So, we’ll see you very soon. Yeah. On the Disney fantasy. Yes. Happy days. Happy day. [Music] You’re sitting comfortably. Yeah. How long is it going to take? How long is it going to take to get on the hotel to the for 5 minutes? Happy days. So, we’re just leaving the car park and we’re just heading round to dock gate 10. Enjoy the drive. A two-minute drive. Two-minute drive. Left here. [Music] In 400 ft, you’ll arrive at dock gate 10. Wow. There you go. See, you can even walk. I need the pasta. You’ve arrived at your destination. I don’t know where I’m going to see another ship port, which is the independence of the sea. That is Horizon 2. Right. So, parking done. Porters porters are tipped. Yeah, that’s right. They don’t work for Disney cruise lines. So, uh it’s always nice to tip the porters when they take your cases. Uh and put them in the van to take them to the ship. So, we’re just going through the car area. And in front of us is the beautiful Disney fantasy. Oh, and two lovely ladies as well. You just slip that in. Yes. I just thought I’d slip that bit in. There you go. So, if you’ve never been here before, uh this is the H hor Horizon terminal. Right. So, we’ve been through security. It’s like 5 minutes. And now we’re at the top. Thank you. So, Cabanas lunch is 12 to 3:30 on occasion. There’s also a QR code which you can scan mine mine like these people getting out and then we are going to Where are we going? Right. So, we’ve had a lovely conversation with a guest member. Hello. Hello. Her name is Karine. Uh the mother’s greener as well. So we had our picture. Now this is the other side of our just going to spin you around. This is a seed. I don’t use seafood and pizza. So, like I said, this is inside of cab and we’re just going to go and get some ice cream. If I can catch you guys up. So, this is television. Why do I open them to save your life? They have a slide that goes around the ship with the mouse. This is where they’re going to be holding the stway party. Anybody on screen? Is it not open yet? Is that a bit? Yes, it’s a swirl. You push it in. Push it in. My god. And Karina is having large. This is Cove Cafe where you can get specialtity coffees. There’s also a bar. And I don’t fool you. So, we’re just going to explore the ship. Going to explore the ship. Exploring rain now on the ice cream. And this is where the satellite falls is. So, a little bit of a tour of the ship to get our bearings as we’re on a seven night cruise. So, we’re at Salai Falls, which should be at the front of the ship. I’ve lost Diana again. Oh, there she is. That light falls to sit in there. If the water is nice and warm, ice cream noise. Yummy. Get splashed. There’s the Donald funnels. Can we see Donald? Is he on this one? Sure. This one’s Donald. Yeah, there he is. He’s got his butt sticking out. Oh, the sun’s coming out this side. You got Lion King on explore the back of the ship and then uh check to see if our state room is ready and then Diana’s going to do a stalk. I am going to pop along and put some magnets on people’s doors. She [Music] stand right. So I’ve come to the top of the ship. This is where they do Goofy’s Sports Simulator, which is a paid for activity, unfortunately. Uh, we did it last one. You also got Crazy Golf. Help yourself. [Music] This is going to be quite cool when we have a go on this. And then also a friend of ours, Ian from South Coast Drones UK. We shall be uh waving as he will be droning the ship as we sail out this evening. So, look out for that spectacular event. But yeah, they’ve got crazy golf table tennis. [Music] Lots of fun. There they are. [Music] I knew they’d come up. We come equipped. We come equipped and we’re going to have a game of crazy golf cuz the sun’s out. Why not? So, Diana is going to do a state room tour. I guess is why I’m going to go and pop some magnets around to some guests on the ship. So, we’ll just walk in and see what it’s like. Just bear in mind on the Disney Wonder, they do not have them. They have just a light switch. Okay. So, we’re just going to go in. This is an inside stateateroom with magical pole because that lights up. Hey. Oh, it’s got me in the Hey, happy days. Hello and welcome to Adventures with the Reads. This is our room tour. We are on the Disney Fantasy sailing from Southampton to Spain and France in September of 2025. We are staying in an inside standard stateateroom. Let’s have a look. So we are in state room 7567. So that’s on deck 7 inside standard stateateroom. So get in, use the key of the world card and in you come. As you first come in the door, oops, slam the door. There is a nice view of the whole room. To the left as you walk in is the wardrobe space with the life jackets up the top should you need them. Plenty of hangers and a safe. There’s also another bit of wardrobe here with some more hangers and a shelf up there. And that’s the ladders if you’re using the fourth bed which comes out of the ceiling. We are not as there is only three of us in this room. Carrying on to the left, there is the vanity unit with the light mirror, some drawers with the hair dryer in and the um heat mat for straighteners or curling tongs, whatever you have. [Music] Then in the middle is the drawer with the stationery in. This is our um gifts which we will show you in a second. The TV with Elliot and Reed party on cuz H comes before beauty shops. And then in here is the refrigerator. Uh, well, it’s actually a cool box, I think they refer it to. It’s not a fridge, but bin, a picture of the four ships, the magic, the wonder, the dream, and the fantasy. The lights, bedside table, and the stateateroom phone. see the magical port hole which if you watch closely eventually characters may come across your screen. This is the other side of the bed which has two sockets on there but there isn’t any on the other side. So of course now just having the side with the sockets under the bed storage if it will show you for your suitcases. The sofa and another this sofa turns into a third bed in the room. Um, it just pulls down so no extra floor space is needed, which is good. Lovely Disney artwork. And up there, should you need it, is the fourth bed, which estate room host will pull down for you. There’s also a privacy curtain there between the main bed and the sofa bed. Then on this side is the bathroom. So, because this is a standard room, it’s all in one room. On most Disney ships, they have a split bathroom, but on the standard inside room, it’s just one bathroom. We have a sink with hand soap. Then we have body lotion, flannels, obviously a mirror with me in. You don’t get me included though. Towels. toilet of course and the bath shower. It’s a small bath, but you’ll get your butt in it. That’s the main thing. And then a shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Then over here is the shower, which is removable for people like me who like to wash their hair over the side of the bath rather than in the shower. Perfection. Then there’s the two washing lines up there should you have wet things you want to dry off. And the tub. So I am 5’4 and I’m going to show you if I can get in the bath. Take my shoes off. I’m getting in in my socks though. [Music] Bearing in mind I’m 5’4 and I can sit in it, but I can’t stretch out. But at least my butt will get washed. Now I’ve got to try and get out again cuz I keep filming because I’ve got my socks on on a slidy bath. There we go. And that Oh, and there’s a full length mirror on the door. There’s a bin down there with some tissues. Then on the vanity is of course more outlets. So, there’s the haird dryer outlet, two USBs, and then two more plugs there. And then this is our stateateroom gift. So, we’ve got our lanyards. We like to open one. And because we’re silver, we get the beach bag. And that concludes the room tour. We’ll get a snippet of that and then we’re going to head to the back of the ship. Like I said earlier, Ian. Oh, look. There’s a there. I shall vlog it in a minute because I know where it is now. Um, like I was saying that um a friend on Instagram is uh letting his drone fly. So, we’re going to wave and then you’ll see it on this edited version of LeBron like that. And then we got dinner tonight at is it royal court? Royal Court at 8:15. But I’m going to head to one of the shops at 7:45. So that’s before we get a stampede cuz you know there’s going to be a stampede, don’t it? So there you go. I’m going to spin you back around, show you a few more doors. So, we’re actually going to be turning round and then hopefully we sail into the big sea for our seven night western Europe cruise. Right. This is the last sailing for 2025 before the Disney FANTASY heads to dry dock for
a re-fit and changers on the ship before it sails back to Port Canaveral in Florida.
